yo yo yo Maddie in the house my name is Maddie and I'm back with another reaction video today we have another genshin impact original soundtrack and a live performance at that on my last video I received a comment with a whopping 114 likes saying that if I wanted to see another genshin impact original soundtrack they need another one live based on a different region of the video game in sumimura sumera sumura sumera is what I'm going to say from now on and if I'm wrong I'm sorry according to the people in the comments of the last video you guys are always a wealth of information so thank you each different theme of genshin impact was created and based around different actual regions in the world the last one that I listened to was Chinese and this particular performance is based off of a region that takes a lot of music influences from North Africa middle east and south Asia excited to hear what it sounds like if you don't know who I am my name is Maddie I'm a professional music producer songwriter and musician myself I'm gonna give my perspective from that lens and try to tell you exactly what's happening hopefully I can teach you something and hopefully you can take away something from my perspective let's get into it though how about that hoyo verse oil mix I'm sure you can read but I thought I'd just reiterate those those words there I'll shut up [Music] little oboe oh no the oboe [Music] clarinet coming in [Music] oh what [Music] oh I love that timpani actually I take it back that was not the timpani that I was hearing I did hear the timpani but the brass is what I was actually referring to it's coming out of the right speaker which makes me think there's some sort of mixing going on here maybe that there were some microphones dropped down from the ceiling panned spatial who knows foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] so cool those that that little um Pizzicato in that upright base I guess the upright Base is almost always Pizzicato but well it's all almost always Pizzicato in like a jazz setting and what I mean by that is like when it's actually plucked on the string rather than bowed um and you can hear it bum bum listen to that really cool oh [Music] there we go sexy [Music] hey nice foreign what a run there mandolin [Music] oh my God I love this section this is this is this is tight I don't know there's a mandolin this is uh it looks like at least at least we got four and four so that's eight that was hard math we got at least eight strings over here don't know this looks like some sort of loot don't know I can't see this one don't know what that is cool love that let's keep going don't know that [Music] oh that's sweet too [Music] oh yeah sitar [Music] I think the actual traditional way of playing a sitar is cross-legged like that but I think if I mean I've I don't I don't play sitar I don't know anything but I don't know much about it but I think this is the traditional way of playing it rather than sitting on a chair which is which kind of cool kind of cool foreign [Music] I like those little percussion instruments [Music] oh that's a cool I don't know okay what is that thing that like reminds me of like a it's called like a loot a Didier I don't know what it's called it's this thing right here whatever this guy's playing he's got hammers hitting the strings oh my adults dulcimer I think that's German I'm not sure [Music] foreign [Music] nice nice [Music] okay so far the arrangement has been absolutely cool I really like the ethnic instruments that they've added in there and obviously that is indicative of the region that they were trying to model after that being the sort of Middle Eastern influence South Asia and then as well as North Africa very very cool I'm sure I wish I knew the names of these instruments but it is what it is I'm not a instrumentologist I don't know if that's a word but we're gonna go with it let's continue on I'll continue talking more about the arrangement let's continue on [Music] oh Atlantis look at this one [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you [Music] does it no way what is there another song whoa [Music] that's sweet that's a sweet instrument [Music] oh wow I like those shakers a lot [Music] there it is bringing the strings [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] get it dude get it [Music] [Applause] listen to that percussion driving the Rhythm forward so cool I get a I just would be pumped up if I was listening to this song in a game it's funny because all of these video game songs I've been listening to I just can't imagine playing the video game and it's just making it that much more epic [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh yeah she's feeling bow [Music] [Applause] [Music] what a dirty little riff violence oh my God [Applause] come on foreign [Applause] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] this guy oh hell yeah he this guy shreds the mandolin you already know you just are you just know that was that even I don't know if that was a mandolin whatever instrument that he was playing he shreds [Music] [Applause] it was a mandolin [Music] foreign [Music] oh my gosh so cool so cool so cool okay so I'm assuming that that was not the entirety of the sumera region soundtrack correct me if I'm wrong but that those first two clips were just epic so epic I don't know exactly when in the storyline or whatever in the piece of content that they actually come up but whenever they do I'm sure that you are just so excited and ready to play video game previously in the comments of the last scansion impact video if someone mentioned that it took the composers over three years of composing all of these different songs for all of these different regions and it makes sense why a work of art like this writing something composing something like this takes time putting all the small details together putting all the instruments together writing melodic lines making sure everything fits together is tough it is not an easy thing to do and you can tell that they have put in the time to do it because it sounds so good I'm sure that they hear a live Orchestra play their work and they've got to be beamingly proud if that's an adjective I can use if you have any other are things I should react to them in the comments below thank you so much for watching before you go
