you should already have your illustration from procreate imported into procreate dreams here I'm going to use this uh layer here I'm not going to convert it to a track because I don't need to modify at all but we do have this separate layer here that we're going to actually convert long press and convert layers to tracks then if we check it out let's go to the group here and we have the city layer here and also the sky and stars we want that separate it will be behind the city layer so let's go to the beginning here and let's resize the background picture to make it fit the way we want it to fit so let's just keep resizing it until we're happy with it I don't want to show any of the bottom part I just want to show the buildings through the window here but you will have a different illustration so again do whatever that you think is best for your illustration okay so I'm happy with that now I want to move the background as if the train is moving forward so click move move and scale and notice the beginning key frame is white so let's go to the end to set the ending key frame click at the end and just drag it down quickly and click on it again and now you see it's white so let's just drag the picture all the way to the end or wherever you want it to be to make it look like the train is moving forward and the city is passing by okay that looks great now go to the playhead and just swipe to the left and check it out okay looks good let me tell you a quick secret with the buildings in the background or anything in the background what will help is that when you create it inov create to make the background a little blurry so you can do this with the motion blur and this will give it a more realistic look like it's passing by so now let's go down to the sky and stars layer or a separate layer that has the the sky in the background and we're going to just re not resize it but move it around till we're happy with the set of stars here that we already made in procreate okay and I think think that looks good okay bring it to the beginning and let's press play okay notice the back sky is staying still and the city is moving so that's exactly what we want okay so we're done with the background layer let's go to this group and just bring it up and we're going to focus now on the foreground or the train layer and because this is an old train back in the 1940s or so it's going to be kind of a rough ride so we're going to press the form button here and go up here click modify I like to keep it around 20 so it doesn't record all of your unstable hand movements like I have sometimes so now just grab it and just start moving her up and down moving the train up and down and again you can adjust it to uh how you'd like it with your illustration okay let's swipe it and check it out so we can see it's starting off a little slow so we need to set easings go down to the track here and long press and set all easings and click on linear and this should make it a more consistent motion yeah that looks better Okay click done and let's watch it on full screen with four fingers and press play and there you have it I hope this level up tutorial can help you increase your skills using procreate dreams and if you like this video please don't forget to like And subscribe also please check out my links below like my children's book and online shop click on these videos to continue leveling up with procreate dreams thanks again for watching and see you next time
