Prince George turns 10! l GMA

happy birthday Prince George it's hard to believe that a Whole Decade has passed since it felt like the world was waiting for news of the royal baby's arrival now that baby is 10 and destined to follow in his grandfather and Father's Footsteps and one day become king Royal children celebrate their birthdays privately so the palace does not release any details of their plans however we are expecting there to be as usual a new photograph of Prince George to mark his 10th birthday his school has broken up for the summer holiday so it's very possible that he and his family are enjoying some time away together we've definitely seen Prince George appear more publicly as he's got older and that's a way of gradually introducing him as he's ready to the public role that he will one day have I also think that part of the reason we've seen him so much over the past year or so is really a result of the extraordinary events of the past 12 months we've had the Platinum Jubilee Queen Elizabeth's funeral and King Charles's coronation and every time George has taken on a prominent role publicly I think that's very much been William and Kate making that decision in consultation with him I think they discuss these things with their children what they feel happy with when it comes to making a public appearance we can expect him to continue to make some public appearances in the way that he has been and as he gets into his late teens and 20s perhaps take on some patronages and start to carry out some duties of his own Prince George will stay at lambrook school until he's 13 or so and he's actually been seen looking around Eaton college with his parents which is the secondary school that William attended so that could very much be a next step for him [Music]
