[Music] hello I'm Wolf Gang pck and I'm going to show you how to make the best roast beef I have a piece of prime rip so all you have to do is tie it a little bit up with some string or have your butcher do that be sure when you make a big prime rib before cooking it take it out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 35 45 minutes and I'm going to season it well and don't be gentle with the salt add enough salt this is not just like putting salt on a steak or on a little chicken breast you have a lot of meat here so you need a little bit more salt and the same thing with pepper a little olive oil or any oil you have at home and if you are like me you like Flavor put a little bit of thyme on here and I have some chopped garlic here M I can taste it already it's going to be amazing hot and it's going to be great if there's any leftover for sandwiches now if you like you can also add some vegetables or some more flavors here like I have a few onions here for example I could throw them in okay now I preheat the oven to 450° set a timer at 40 minutes if you like it medium 35 5 minutes if you like it medium rare so it really depends how you like it now if you're not really used to cooking that get a meat thermometer so it's perfectly done the oven is preheated put the pressure handle down I'm cooking roast beef here but this could be a rack of pork this could be a leg of lamp you can do it exactly the same way all right it's about 40 minutes my prime rib is in here okay okay and then be sure not to cut into it right away cover it and keep it in a warm place after about 15 minutes you can slice and get perfect roast beef I like my beef medium rare but you know some people like it more cooked so you cook it a little bit longer but no matter how you cook it look how juicy it comes out maybe serve it with a little horseradish cream keep it really simple and that's it when you cook a prime rib in my low pressure over you will never have a dried out meat but what I really like to is that it caramelizes the meat outside and that's the way I like my beef
