Presentable Undergarments: Why You Should Wear Them + The Latest Styles

today we're going to talk all about undergarments mainly panties but also matching bra stats and why you should wear presentable underwear welcome back to the daily connoisseur my name is Jennifer and I believe that what we wear matters I do the 10 item capsule wardrobe here on YouTube and today we're talking about something that I haven't talked about in a long time here on the channel or on the blog and that is undergarments they are very important and today I'm going to encourage you to wear beautiful undergarments functional undergarments and undergarments that have dignity to them what do I mean by that let's just jump right into the video ok so I want to ask you ladies right now what is the state of your underwear drawer what's the state of it be honest you don't have to say it in the comments so just think about it in your head are your panties old are they ripped are they saggy are they stained are they too big for you or they too tight for you do they not fit you are you unhappy with the underwear that you wear this is something that you really need to ask yourself and it is important I think a lot of the times women think well I have to worry about what I wear on the outside but what I wear underneath doesn't really matter no one's going to see it anyway the point is not that people are not going to see your underwear the point is that you know it's there and that it actually contributes to you looking presentable always if you read my first book lessons from the damn chic you know there's a very funny story about my underwear and what happened to my underwear the type of underwear that I used to wear I'm still horrified by that story I won't share it here but if you read the book you know what I'm talking about our underwear matters because everything we wear how we present ourselves this scene and the unseen it all matters so if you're going to wear a beautiful outfit and present yourself beautifully to the world but your underwear has sagging elastic and has holes in it and is a faded horrible color you're not going to get the full effect of feeling presentable so I do think it is important to invest in good underwear and have beautiful underwear so let's have a look now at the different styles of undergarments that are available today okay this one right here is the Brazilian culotte and that's from Montell intimates so the back of it so you can see it has this V shape and the back of it it does have coverage so it is not a thong or a g-string shaped underwear but it does have coverage right here and it's just a very thin so you don't really see a panty line so this is the Brazilian culotte which is a nice alternative for somebody who does not like to wear the thong or g-string underwear okay this one is a smoothing brief and this could look like the most uninteresting pair here but this pair is really great and I know it seems like these are granny panties but actually this little V right here is quite attractive when it's in the leg and so yes these are the smoothing brief they are high-waisted here so they will go up to your belly button or you know PI depending everybody's different they do have a lot of coverage in the back and they go more down buttocks up to the upper leg really and these are really great they just provide a lot of coverage they're just so comfortable obviously and they don't look like granny panties when they're on they actually look really good so I like that little detail of the pointed little curve right there okay next I wanted to show you the iconic boy short from flirt I love this underwear it is it feels like nothing is on it looks beautiful they come in all different colors that I have white here and this beautiful seashell color so the back is like this and it just gives you a lot of coverage this is the boy short but you know they call it iconic for a reason so I've actually purchased a lot of these for myself in the past and they last a long time especially if you take care of them by washing them correctly you could wash them in lingerie bags on delicate that type of thing but they are really beautiful okay so now let's talk about bra and panty sets which of course are ideal it's so nice to wear matching bra and panties it just really makes you feel put together even though nobody else knows that you're wearing them you know that you're wearing them so these are both from Montell intimates and this is the wireless t-shirt bra so it does not have a wire but it still has that cup support and I can tell you it is excellent and you will recognize this this is an almond spice this is the same shade that I have in that beautiful shimmies that I have for Montel intimates so this is the interior of the bra there is no wire it is just designed and engineered in a way that it provides coverage and it's so soft the cups feel incredibly soft almost like tempur-pedic you know what I mean that kind of like soft spongy feel and so I have two different briefs that go with this set this is the culotte this is the high-waisted and it has lace and it gives you more coverage in the backside so there's this one an almond spice it also comes with the hipster as well and so this goes a bit lower down here it's not as high waisted and the cut is a bit more of the V but these are beautiful as well and again they all have a cotton gusset which is very important for breathability and they're just absolutely gorgeous so I do love a good bra and panty set and finally from Montel intimates this is from their new moonlight and roses collection so this broad does have an underwire and it's so beautiful but here's the thing that you see when you try it on it's not a protruding cup which I don't like it really seamlessly flows into this beautiful lace right here this is a high waist panty and it is a work of art I mean look at this place I just absolutely love it it looks really beautiful on it is semi sheer but it has this amazing detail here and the back you know it gives you a lot of coverage so I'll flip it around and there you go you can see that beautiful lace detail there so this is just an ultimate showstopper just imagine you know wearing this even if you're just wearing jeans and t-shirts but just wearing this beautiful set of lingerie it just really elevates your mood and it's just sophisticated dignified and absolutely gorgeous so this is
