PowerApps - Populate Combobox and Dropdown with specified SharePoint field

[Music] hello everyone this is Kyle from we Tech care review and today I'm just going to show you a very quick video on how you can populate in power apps a combo box or a drop- down box with values from a specific column in a SharePoint list so as you can see we've got SharePoint list here I'm going to populate these with one of these columns now SW the powerups so here you can see I've got our combo box and a drop down here I've already connected to the data source of that SharePoint list uh if you don't know how to do that I'll put a link to a video in the description that does uh but what you want to do all you need to do is Select that combox go to items um and type in your name of your SharePoint list in our case it's test vendors and then over on the right here uh you select edit on fields and then here's where you can set what you wanted to display in that combo box it's that simple so here I can see all of those uh columns from that SharePoint list so if I just Chang them to name I run the app there you can see it came out as name let me just change that again to something else so yeah country name uh contact email and then you can see it's pulling the emails now with the dropdown box it's quite similar but it's it's just the one value so again if you come to the items connect to that SharePoint list um test venders then here you've just got the one value here so you can literally just select that drop down and then click the field that you wanted to populate to and that'll change to them okay I hope this video helps please like And subscribe to the channel and take care thank [Music] you
