Welcome to Panlasang Pinoy How are you? I'm Vanjo Merano Today, I will demonstrate how to make a very delicious yet simple soup dish It's called "Pork Bola Bola na may Misua and Patola" (Pork Meatballs with Misua and Luffa) here are the ingredients for this dish ground pork misua luffa, peeled and chopped yellow onion, chopped into small pieces you can use a food processor to make it easier and for finer slices "harina" or all purpose flour "dahon ng sibuyas" or scallions crushed ginger egg ground black pepper salt and Knorr Pork Cubes aside from these ingredients, we will also need water, cooking oil and fish sauce Let's start! First thing we need to do is the "Bola Bola" or meatballs It's very simple we'll just mix all together the ground pork, "harina" or all purpose flour, onion, egg, ground black pepper and salt let's add the onion first add half of the onion only. Then the other half will be for saute so here's the onion here goes the ground black pepper and salt mix well these ingredients give the flavor for our "bola bola" or meatballs so make sure it's well mixed if you want to make it more flavorful, you can add 1 tsp. of garlic powder now let's add the binder we 2 types of binder. First is the "harina" or all purpose flour aside from all purpose flour, you can also use bread crumbs second is the egg mix this a bit more then let's add the egg crack the egg here. 1 piece is enough continue mixing while mixing, you may notice that the mixture is still wet so add a bit of all purpose flour or bread crumbs just add more until the mixture is not that wet anymore this is the desired consistency a bit sticky but not very wet so scoop a mixture, then we'll mold it into balls scoop a mixture then roll on your palms to form a ball it's better to have a measuring scoop but it's not required we can also use a regular spoon to take the mixture then roll on you palms the advantage of having a scoop is it already forms the mixture into ball and the uniformity of the meatballs' size here's a tip. To avoid the meatball mixture from sticking to your hands slightly wet your hands our meatballs are ready. So next step is to pan fry these for a short period of time we'll just fry the outer part of the meatball we don't need to fry the whole thing right away the meatballs will be fully cooked along with the soup preheat a pan and add cooking oil heat it up then let's add the meatballs one by one in this step, we're just frying the outer part of the meatball like what I said earlier, we don't need to fry the whole thing right away after pan frying the meatballs, we'll remove it from the pan and cook this again later slightly cook this side then flip the to the other side we don't need to cook this for a long period of time the meatballs are now ready. So let's take it out one by one put it back to the plate then set aside then later we will saute the garlic and onion this is the used cooking oil. Let's saute here the garlic I saute the garlic first because I want it brown I wanted the garlic toasted like this. Here goes the onion I prefer the garlic to be toasted in dishes like this Pork bola bola I did the same thing in our Pancit Molo Soup the garlic tastes better if its toasted for these soup dishes add water the water will extract the the flavor from the sauted garlic and onion. It will sure be very flavorful let it boil the soup is now boiling now, let's put back the pan fried "bola bola" or meatballs place the plate near the pot and be careful in transferring the meatballs. The soup is hot this is the second phase of totally cooking the meatballs. Earlier we just cooked the outer part only it's time to add the Knorr pork cube I'm adding this to our Bola bola with misua and luffa so I can achieve a rich pork flavor mix it. Let the pork cube dissolve then we will cover the pot and continue cooking under medium heat for 15 minutes see? It's very easy it's now ready. I'll remove the cover then let's add the misua here goes the misua also known as Chinese Vermicelli the good thing about the misua is it can be cooked right away see this? It's already soft. So let's mix this carefully then we can add the vegetables I'm referring to luffa here goes the luffa cover the pot and continue cooking for 5 minutes at this point, let's add the seasonings. Fish sauce and ground black pepper. It's that simple here goes the fish sauce here goes the ground black pepper then mix the last step is adding the chopped scallions this is now ready. Let's transfer this to a bowl and serve but before that, I'll take small portion for sample I want a lot of scallions let's taste our Pork Bola Bola with Misua and Luffa it still hot Mmm~ the soup is so good this is perfectly cooked. The pork flavor is really there. The fish sauce and ground black pepper really helped a lot the ingredients really blended well I want to point out the taste of the toasted garlic. The flavor is really outstanding Mmm~ the meatball is really good I'd say this is a successful dish. It's awesome! Hope you give it a try Here's our Pork Bola Bola Soup with Misua and Luffa Come. Let's eat
