Pokémon Card Mystery Box Conspiracy TESTED

we have a pro i paid 500 for this pokemon mystery box on ebay and i told the seller i was going to open it on video it measures 14 inches by 12 inches and weighs 1 pound 10 ounces now what i didn't tell the seller is that i recruited a fan of the channel to buy the same mystery box on the same listing at the same price and this is that mystery box it's only eight and a half by five and a half inches and it's over a whole pound lighter five hundred dollars each for the same exact listing but why is this one so much bigger than this one here's a theory maybe it's because i'm a youtuber a lot of people say youtubers always get the best mystery boxes because well we publish videos about them and the better they look on video the more likely you are going to go up and buy one so i wanted to put this theory to the test yes science let's pretend you bought this one how would you feel if this was yours but wait wait wait maybe the value that's inside this box is the same as the value inside of this one well there's honestly only one way to find out let's open mine first and then we're gonna open yours and while i open this box real quick i want to thank tcg stadium our sponsor for this talk about here the funny thing is look at this this is what looks like the goodies and it's similar to in size uh to that so again i will open those in just a second but we have a pencil a pencil pikachu pencil at least it's on brand we have a tin that is literally empty there is nothing inside i mean it's an arceus tin which is pretty cool but i mean there is no value here to an empty tin that's just taking up space what the deal breathe okay the most surprising element here in this box is who is that pokemon dish rag what this from like the 1970s dare i smell this i am so scared hold up [Music] it actually doesn't smell too bad okay we're fine there but why dishrag was this used to protect something we got the goodies here we got four envelopes and this thing first thing we got okay let's uh let's zoom in on this we got some cards cards are good oh an e series charmander that's really cute i like that got a jungle pikachu got a e-series squirtle i see a charizard back there we got a full art more pico v-max age slash v-max charizard from vivid voltage that is the reverse holo we got an alakazam full art a break a lugia break that if you're gonna get a break a lugia one is the one to get and then we have here a kangaskhan hollow actually let's take this out of the sleeve this actually looks really nice doesn't look like there's actually any print lines which looks amazing actually that's a really clean kangaskhan i'm okay with that let's keep going we got another set of cards here pinnacle binacle okay i see some full arts back here spirit tomb these are kind of random kingler smoochum we've got a graph lock one thing i'm also noticing here is that some of them are in sleeves some of them are not and then there are some top loaders here here's a nice looking charizard i'm not exactly sure what set this is from but a nice looking charizard reverse hole there we got a brock's trainer this is from evolutions we got another charizard from the japan version and a charizard ex is that tape yeah that's tape so this is the charizard pack with some random almonds and stuff okay envelope number three let's see we got a doug trio from evolutions pikachu from evolutions or tornadoes with some really cool looking hollow there moltres same kind of hollow background a flart hogakiss v max poctricity v gold card we got some gold an acrobike shining celebrity i like that and a sceptile envelope four and then the wrapped set of something there let's go and we're gonna see oh okay okay we got a full art nessa it's always great we got a full art mallow we got a holo from fossil holo haunter pincer from jungle bulbasaur crystal guardians promo card got the greninja zoro rack and the moltres fates collide that looks also like a promo card as well that was a nice pile there some good value i would imagine especially with the waifu cards there so that's four envelopes down and we got this one pack remaining one pack sixty dollars you know for me presentation is really important and so far the presentation hasn't been super great i mean dishrag come on here we go one pack sixty dollars oh okay black and white next destinies this is real nice and it looks to be sealed and that is good so we're gonna keep that here and add that to the value at the end that was pack one we just opened this is pack two this should be the book value i would imagine this is going to be some vintage perhaps let's see we have yes hidden legends ex hidden legends okay so we're gonna keep all this sealed we'll talk about giving these away in another live stream or something because right now we're focused on specifically the value of everything that's in here but uh we got a good amount of things in there we're gonna see what the value is at the very end okay hold on there we go okay we are in your box now and it looks like we found the stuff that belonged in the tin we got some card dividers and a code card got a couple coins it does look like we have sort of the same thing which is a good sign we got four envelopes here in two packs the packs are a little bit different in value the one that's provided in your box is 200 mine was 210 and then there's a 60 pack in mind while yours is 65 so same value in terms of these two packs we'll see what they are we'll see if they're the same or not but let's look inside of these envelopes right now and then we'll kind of get into it opening pack number one see what we get inside we got a skarmory ex full art that's cool i've never seen that card we got a latius latios ninja mewtwo venusaur that looks really cool i'm not sure what stuff that's from metagross gx articuno full art gx from hidden fates and a giovanni's gyarados from i think it's jim heroes this one's from even though it's giovanni i'm not sure gym hero's gym challenge nice little swirl there let's look at the condition of that not so great condition remember the kangaskhan was definitely much better but this is still a nice card for sure to have next all right here we go we got mincino raltz torchic the bite shiny rockruff shiny purlish shiny ablazekin a nice hollow blaziken there and a hollow moltres from gym challenge japanese the condition on this one's also not as great there's a little bit of a crease right there which is not nice of a little dent as well yeah oh that's on the car that's gonna wow there's some creases right there too so that's not super great still got a couple more packs to go and then those sealed packs so i'm hopeful but currently i feel like mine was a little bit better we shall see it does feel like they're similar in terms of just somebody grabbing some stuff and again we'll calculate everything at the end we got a gimbal energy switch reverse garbador mew promo that's nice we got a gold card we did get a gold card and the other one this is life herb we got waltz and charizard this is the only charizard we've seen so far but it's still nice to have and let's check the condition of that one that one's really really bad condition all right we got a nice venusaur here this is erica's venusaur i think erica down there and the condition is just not so great with these we did get a envelope that was all charizards or mostly charizards before so we saw one charizard in this one the charizard that we just saw but let's see what we got here we got a snivy lessa we got the diglett you got the arcanine reverse there is a charizard and that looks to be the only other charizard here we got a mewtwo from base which is really nice we got the machamp we got the lugia last time there is a slo-bro ex an armaldo and then the slowpoke psyduck so it seems like there's similar cards here but definitely feels like they're lesser quality it's not obvious to me that this is because i'm a youtuber quite yet but at the same time we definitely got more bangers in the other one i think again we're gonna have to wait till the end to see the value of all this but let's open up pack number one here the last time we did this we got a black and white next destinies i'll pop that up there to remind us but this is your 65 pack and again we're gonna price check all of this stuff to make sure because they can put whatever on the front we got it looks like the same thing black and white next destinies and uh yeah i think the mewtwo is definitely maybe five bucks more but same exact pack and let's see no matter what this last pack is mystery boxes in general are a huge risk and if you don't want to take a risk like i have today you should
