Plus Size Asos Haul: Now with sequin backdrop and lots of terrible improv-ed songs

hey everybody today I have another haul for you I put up a special background for this one because I don't know I just wanted to change it up the only thing is is it's really short so this is gonna be a very low budget looking haul like right now I look fantastic I look radiating everything's sparkley but we get to the try on this is maybe about two feet too short to do a tryon but I'm not gonna switch the whole backdrop it's like a ton of work to put the backdrop on get it set make sure it yeah not happening so you're just gonna see that weird 2 feet at the bottom during tryon unless I magically figure out a way by then but let me tell you my motivation not so high today to figure that out plus I might have to just give this up and use it just for vlogs but I wanted to try just at least try to use it for a haul because it's so fantastically just me anyway today's haul is from ASOS I have a huge butt box I said butt cuz I don't want to swear but you know what word I wanted to say there um I would lift it up and hold it for the camera but it's just too big and I don't feel like it I basically got on there I know I'm going on this trip I keep talking about and talking about it to Cuba and then to Miami and then I've got some other things going on and I just I got click happy ordered a whole bunch of stuff it's like I'll try it on all on and the great thing about asos if you guys never use them this isn't sponsored at all this is just real life Anna's you know facts about stores they have a program you can sign up for I think it's like twenty-one dollars a year not a and it's refunded very very quickly so with it so so I feel like I can order a whole bunch of stuff and not worry about like when I'm gonna get the return I know it's gonna come to me within like a week which has been like a godsend so let's jump right in I'll walk you through everything I got it's a lot it's a lot so don't judge me I have a problem okay let's go the first item I got is a set and it's a cute little pair of like booty short things in this like amazing floral print and then it has a boxy crop top that goes with it now I did get this in this style and then there's another style in the box so I'll talk about it when it comes I do really love this pattern it's real tropical it's very like I'm on a beach drinking um apparently you can get boxed rum in Cuba and this would be like the type of thing you wear to drink boxed rum it is short I'm a little concerned it's gonna be too short I did order a larger size on the top because I wanted it to be baggy versus fitted it may be too baggy and these are the things that I'm thinking about may or may not work as always with the candy juicy thighs I get worried about leg openings and sometimes it's just too short you know like I am taking just a carry-on to Cuba Miami that's another story but to Cuba I'm literally only taking a carry-on just because based on my research it's a lot easier to just have your bag with you at all times then if there's like confusion in the airport you don't have to like track your bag down which in some countries is really hard and Cuba just happens to one of those countries that doesn't have a formal like lost bag process so I'm just like I'll keep it with me make it simple so everything I bring I have to really be able to like wear for the whole day so that's where I'm like worried about these but they could be great for Miami but we'll see we'll try it on see if it makes sense um I am obsessed I love this it's super comfortable and I just feel good in it and I'm keeping it it's so cute I love it I even love it with this headband which you'll see later in the haul that I just chucked on because I took off my other headband anyway I didn't even explain it I just love the whole thing the whole thing's fabulous this item has nothing to do with Cuba I've just been looking at it on site for like I'm gonna say good three to four weeks now and I was just like you know what you've had a glass of wine you're having a good night you deserve to click the button that's what my a step mom calls shopping online clicking the button so I'd really hoped this would be like a Jersey I just don't love rayon jumpsuits I love the print though I think it's cuz I've been watching a lot of RuPaul's Drag Race and it just reminds me of like brown cow stunning but I think it's technically giraffe it's a giraffe print wide Lake jumpsuit it's a rayon print it has a high neck and a zipper up the back so the likeliness of me keeping this is very low for a variety of different reasons the back zipper is as a casualty I will make exceptions if I absolutely love it I had a jumpsuit from ModCloth that I absolutely loved it I'm like you know what I'll find a friend but I don't know if I love this enough to zip it up so we'll see how it looks on the legs also look I want them to be wider is that weird I want them to be wider than they are we'll see how it looks on you know I have no I have no worries that I could send it back it does have an elastic waist here so it does give you some definition look cute with a belt if needed and it is short sleeve again it's very very lightweight and it's I don't know I just I'm not feeling it once I opened it I can't pretend here I just don't feel it I'll try it on for you guys but I had an expectation and when it got here kind of a letdown it does that pockets though which is this like redeeming factor I think if I were shorter I'd like it more because if you can see here do you see the like I feel like I could rip this not even necessarily because of my chubbi-tude but more because of my height so I just I don't feel I don't feel safe in it and I had an incident in Vegas once where that height issue became a huge problem and I showed my booty so the whole of the Vegas strip but I would just like to not repeat that ever again true story what are you in this bag what are you in this bag you are culottes okay so I have these in khaki and I'll be honest I just don't think the khaki was good on me it just made me look like an inappropriate thing I can't say it just made me look flesh colored head to toe it was just not not cute so I thought I would try them in green they have a little tie in the front and they're soft and comfortable I loved the feel of them it was just the color the color it made mm-hmm it made me look like a thing I didn't want to look like I hope you guys are playing the mental game I am throwing out maybe you're thinking something worse than is in my head but let's just say it made me look like something I don't have so these fit just as I thought they would um they're really comfortable really great for work pants also super cute was a pair of boots in the winter as you guys have heard in other videos I'm trying to get green back in my wardrobe these are fire it's neon cheetah print so I have to at least try it right right that's what I thought so this is a neon cheetah print maxi it's actually not neon it's more like a bright red if I don't know if you guys can see that but it's just a maxi maybe it's a MIDI no it's a maxi this is either gonna look super cool on or super weird I can't decide maxi dresses are like this weird thing that sometimes work and sometimes look terrible and the science of that I have yet to figure out the print is cool I'm wondering if maybe I would have liked it in a shorter dress but I gave it a go I gave it a go because we're all here for trying new things so I put this dress on and it's just I just don't think it's very me so I'm not going to keep it it might look really great on I just I'm just not feelin its vibe its energy it's just not it's not me and that happens but I gave it a go there's like I like to open packages the right way but then I like can't find it and I get like like panic where are you opening you little thing and then I figure it out and I feel proud of myself that's what you just witnessed happening okay so this is this dress is bananas I think it's super pretty and I just wanted like a romantic shot in it it's a floral mustard yellow not floral there is nothing floral about this it is a ruffled mustard yellow dress you see the ruffle and it has almost like a capelet that follow falls delicately over your sleeve and then it comes down into like a fun high-low sitch and has a tie waist this is againn a wild card but that's the fun thing about Asos I ordered a bunch of stuff and we just see what looks good I love the fabric you feel soft and flowy it is obviously a polyester rayon mix but it's that lighter like gauzy fabric so it feels like it could be very very comfortable to wear but I almost feel like it might be too fancy like it's more for like a summer wedding than it is for like a trip to a tropical place we'll see we'll see how it looks on and like the layering on it it's very light it's very comfortable but I wonder like is it too dressy it is too much would it pack well I'm afraid it would wrinkle a lot I don't know what do you guys think should I keep this one I kind of like it because I'm enjoying this movement I don't know I like this color I like this color a lot see again the struggle found it so this I thought was just really cool it is a pink cropped sweater thing it's oversized obviously it's got some big old Dolman sleeves and the Knitting goes horizontally versus vertically so it's like a cross here I picked this because I love this color it's like pepto-bismol pink it's like almost inappropriate it's super super soft which I'm into I love a good crop I love a good dolman especially since I tend to be disproportionate my top is much smaller than my bottom so on the top I like to add volume to kind of like make it appear proportionate even though it's not again proportionate again societal standards you don't have to keep that proportion but sometimes it's just fun to pretend I'm an hourglass things like this help me achieve it I also like oversized stuff recently I think that's a trend we're moving to in style and I'm exploring how that works for a plus body in a way that you know doesn't portray us it's like trying to hide our body so I'm excited to add this to kind of like oversized things to try out I'm probably definitely going to keep that because it's like real cute and like real soft I love it it's so comfy so I purposely tried this sweater on just last so I could just stay in it because it's so comfortable it's unbelievably soft and it's really like baggy and good to kind of lay around but still look still look fabulous this I already know I'm not keeping um I will try it on for the haul I ordered pants with it and it was supposed to be like a Beetlejuice suit which I was feeling but the pants were sold out and now I'm like I can't have the jacket without the pants how can I be Beetlejuice I can't half Beetlejuice juice through life I need to full Beetlejuice so because I can't have the pants the jacket just isn't for me and honestly kind of glad because I'm not feeling this jacket it's lightweight it's got the scrunching thing which I usually like but I wanted like a tailored jacket it does I think it's just an open hang jacket I don't think it actually closes it's lined in a white acetate but it feels very flimsy we'll see how it looks on maybe it'll miraculously look amazing and I'll need to keep it but because I cannot pull Beetlejuice this striped jacket it's like not of interest to me at all trying to get that full beetlejuice on I don't like it it's really tight in the arms which is unusual because ASOS is usually pretty big in the arms for me but I mean everybody knew I wasn't gonna keep it this just like seals the deal it might look cool it's just it's to tight in the arms and if I can't layer under it I don't want to wear it what are you I did order like random accessories because I sometimes do that just like because this has a lightning bolt on it which not my flavor typically oh it's a cute little um one of these thingies which makes a lot of sense because it's basically 95% of time how I wear my hair now yes I cute style it down the center yes I do things but if I don't do anything to it aka right now and I throw a cute headband in it's nice so it's it's a lazy woman's way of looking fabulous now we got another fun print item it is I guess I was like all up on them hot prints hot prints this is a pair of wide leg pants in a real loud print cuz your girl loves some color obviously royal blue and red these could be amazing they're wide leg they are the waistband is a little weird because it has a side zip and those are my double because then you got to like figure out how to get that together but I'm really really here for the print it's polyester yeah the whole thing's a polyester um we'll see we'll see how this looks on I took up all my makeup and got into comfy clothes because I was like I'm just gonna chill for the rest of the day and I remembered that I forgot to tell you how terrible these pants were these pants hate candy juicy thighs they literally have the smallest thighs on a pair of pants I've put on and this is like a new brand that's making plus that asos carries so like am I surprised no this always happens they get like one fit model grade up and then the thighs are like tiny until bunch of people return the pants and then they fix it so I'm gonna help this brand fix their sizing on their bottoms by returning these pants to go with those rad pants there's a matching top it is the summer of co-ords I remember someone saying like co-ords are gonna die and I was like no they're not that's a funny joke co-ords live on and on and on and I am right here supporting them hey it's your girl Anna I'm gonna go buy some matching shit see me rocking in my co-ords you say I'm out of style but I keep buying more gonna buy some more co-ords that was riding dirty as sound about coordinating clothing saving a lot of fun today so here's why I love this a shoulder pads I love shoulder pads I've been waiting for them to have a comeback forever it's got a fun low V it's a light kind of like stretchy polyester fabric but very comfortable it's got some fun frills at the sleeves with a little tie detail so it's adjustable and then it also comes down to a cute little peplum so you put the pants and the top together and you are loud and you are making a statement and you are like everybody look at this cuz why wouldn't you want to look at this pattern all over my body I'm really feeling this I'll be like super bummed if like the pants are too tight in the thighs or like don't feel good like I'll have to like have a moment of silence so be prepared for that be prepared for tears raw emotional tears or happiness elated joy celebration it's gonna be one of the two and it will be dramatic well now I'm super annoyed the pants didn't fit because I absolutely love the shirt I'm sure I could make it work with something else but I just had this vision of the whole outfit together and now I don't get to have it but this is so cute I look it's like a little crop but not much I really like this I gotta figure out how else to wear it these I just got because I can't wear heels right now at all and I wanted something that I could wear out and dance in and I didn't want black shoes because I feel like everything I have right now is black because that's what I had and I needed to order typically I don't have a wide foot okay but because my foot has been swelling and because I also have to account for a brace on my left foot I need wides right now so I ordered these and I hope that it will both fit my left foot and fit my non-braced non-swollen right foot which is the challenge that I'm currently struggling with in most of my shoes because really if I'm gonna be walking around or going dancing or any of those things I should have my bandage on but it doesn't really fit in my shoes so this is my like prayer that these fit because they're actually really cute they're simple they're super flat they're good and cushy like they're everything you'd want a shoe for a damaged foot to be so fingers crossed on that one we should just call this the haul of hope because everything is like I hope this works but it may not let me talk to you about why it might and probably why it won't the haul of hope I'm singing a lot today I think I'm just I'm jazzed I know that I'm oh my goodness I'm like fi I'm like six five six five days away from vacation so you just start to get a little loopy when you realize how close a beach rum in a box the Tropicana salsa classes like all of those things are five days away sorry calming down this I do not know what I think this is supposed to be a dress shirt shirt dress if this is supposed to be a dress mm probably not going to happen it also looks oversized but I think there is there a cord yes there is a cord so maybe this is one of those things that's like oversized cause it's super defined waist which could be fantastic on me because I love love love that aesthetic because it adds proportion as I Eureka O'Hara-cize I'm proportionizing it's the pattern though super fun so this is definitely like a 90s throwback it could look amazing with biker shorts oh I love me anything I can pack with a pair of biker shorts because it's like I just want to be in short leggings and that's all biker shorts are they're just leggings that are summer appropriate so this over a pair of biker shorts could be like an ultimate 90s kick back so I'm hoping this works out so now that I have this on I love it it is a little bit big in the top but honestly with a bralette and maybe even with a cute design here it should be totally fine I love that it's big and baggy and that I can like move it in and feel very comfortable and with the bagginess it's gonna allow like wind to get up under and keep me cool I will probably wear biker shorts underneath it just because it's on the shorter side and while I love chafe sticks I am a forgetful person so when I go out dancing and things like that I like to have the situation on lockdown so I talked to you about my other beach set that I got which was like way way at the beginning of this video just like the other set I really love it I just wish it had pockets but I think it's super cute and it feels like super loungy let's go back back back to where we started it's basically the same thing except in like a neon snake prints you see this so I hope that one or both of these work if they are both like if the fit is amazing I'm down to clown with both because I love these prints I love neon I love having my thighs out where they can get some Sun I like crop tops cuz they're comfortable like I'm a comfort queen in the summer and it's not even about being like sexy or like showing off it's literally just like I want a tan I paid a bunch of money come here I would like to come back showing that I went there that's it and these are cute have the same little kind of dolphin hem here at the bottom again in the same like snake print which is like a neon with like or orange accents to it I hope these work out I really do because I love the prints so so much but I'm also realistic to the fact that I'm not gonna keep them if they don't even though I love the print the print is a really amazing like seriously seriously so cute and I might okay I might have some like neon accents that are coming in a later haul that I think together could form this like amazing look that is like so shamelessly 90s slash loud but but the bottoms I love and the dolphin hem is cute because it gives that thigh but it's also giving me enough length here which is what I was really nervous about okay so this was a curved bangle which means it's supposed to be for them big girls here's the issue I don't necessarily have large wrists but I do have very large hands which many of you have noticed they are big they're big hands they aren't necessarily chubby they're just big and I can't fit most bangles over like this shape it just physically gets stuck on my bones so like it's literally grinding my bones when I put them on and this one fits so I'm keeping it I'm keeping this no matter what just because it's a cute bangle and I can never get bracelets that fit and it's fantastic and with like a whole thing my like this is like a clutch but let me just give you like a close-up trying to like put the jewelry somewhere okay like look at that I feel like this is my photo buy this bracelet this bracelet is fantastic don't you want this bracelet the bracelet is everything buy this bracelet see how it fits on my hand Wow I went into a weird cult thing there and I'm gonna never never again mm-hmm so we have what are you you are oh this is fun straight up not gonna keep it I thought it was longer I thought it would be like a big old acetate chain-link necklace a variety of different shapes like short and I wanted like a long necklace not like yeah no it's it's not staying it's the first item I know I'm actually gonna return this necklace so at least one things going back see literally I should narrow all of this down but I know myself and I will struggle okay whole bunch more jewelry in here we have some fun these are okay I don't know why I ordered them they're like little I'll take them out of their baggy I'm not like in seeing them I don't even want to show them to you because they're kind of like not that cool I think I just was wine-pick earrings so they are just some tortoiseshell big earrings I don't think there's anything special about them so I'm actually gonna send them back I actually straight-up found some really cute big earrings on bauble bar that are amazing and on sale I'll link them down below and I was just like okay these are the earrings I want so I will get those so now it feels like some of the other earrings I got just like make it work they don't work no more oh these are just some big jeweled clips just for styling my hair now that I have a shorter length I need more ways to like hold it back just do things are different so I got these I thought they were super fun and I like to do my hair parted down the center and do them right here like in a very 70s style and these are perfect for that they give you that like what super tight and then flare out at the bottom 70s ish 5 and they're super cute look how sparkly pink they are adorable then I also got similarly just like the same vibe just cuz I wear that hairstyle a lot it's like headbands and clips headbands and clips headbands and clips whoa what it's my hairstyle goals its headbands and clips I got gold ones that are just like bloop and silver ones that are just like bloop so I can just do that or I can even like side part and double clip it but I have a bunch of different options now and I only had like one and I just kept wearing it wearing it I'm like I like to have more options so just updating my hair clip collection whoo that was an obnoxiously long haul or it was the best time of your life let me know in the
