Playing Every Madden NFL Game in ONE Video!

we got to play all of these games in one video so let's get started man in 2001 man i remember thinking this game was next level when i had this back in the day so here is the menu we got quick start exhibition season franchise mode practice and that's it really wasn't a lot going on in the games back then in terms of like game modes and stuff at least not this early on let's check the rosters and see like who are some of the best teams in the game and things like that i bet this was the year brian erlacker was a yep he was a rookie brian erlacker 78 overall i mean that's just funny right there let's see we're like the best players so you can see there's no 99 overalls in mad no one like there was i don't even know if they started doing 99 overalls yet i can't remember we got warren sat mike alstott junior seau r.i.p got kurt warner ray lewis keyshawn johnson derek brooks a lot of bucks are the bucks the best team in the game could be the rams too this could be like the greatest show on turf uh rams era i believe we'll just go to exhibition as you can see the rams are 95 overall so they probably were the best team in the game um scrolling over here this is like the europa league i think maybe they used to put those teams in the game they had all-time teams look at this like greatest teams like historical teams i guess you could say like from the 90s and the 80s we don't even have this in the game today and we've been asking for this so that's crazy i mean some of the best teams of all time 87 saints uh you know this was like one of the only good saints teams before they actually got drew brees and stuff like that and became you know a more respectable organization but look at all these teams you could choose from back then this is 20 years ago and then you got the all-time teams too which is like current players and past players so kind of like theme teams if you want to say it uh for people that play like ultimate team nowadays you had the all mad 99 team i mean you just had a lot of stuff now i don't really remember what the like intros and stuff were back then i think in 2001 it was kind of very bare bones i don't think they did a whole bunch like i think they showed some players i mean there's like no face scan technology back in the day everybody's a cartoon generic face bro look at these play call screens and like the plays like it's just so foreign compared to like what it looks like nowadays this is crazy i remember these graphics like at the time these graphics were game changing like you thought you were playing the real game like you thought you were watching nfl football when you were looking at this in 2001 look i mean you can even take the defensive lineman off off of their three-point stance you can't do that nowadays i mean i don't even know half the controls i'm out here looking look at this we're just getting toasted i don't even know the controls they're all different like there's no sprint button there's no anything like i don't even know what the sprint button is i'm sure there was one and i mean we're just giving up uh records here on the first drive rams only got like two shotgun formations that's crazy i guess maybe they didn't run a whole lot of shotgun back in the day i really can't remember to be honest so long ago oh crap so you gotta press the you gotta hike the button and then press it again to pull up the pass icons that's different too i was like tripping out for a second i was like where the heck am i pass icons at but you actually gotta like hike the ball then you gotta press it again i mean they're just coming clean let's go isaac bruce baby let's go isaac bruce one of the greatest of all time for the touchdown so we got him right back not too bad i mean we still got it we've got to knock the rust off a little bit but we're good time for some madden 2002 action baby man this is when madden intros used to be super lit this game i remember i got this game on christmas day and i didn't do anything but play the heck out of this game for like a year straight i thought i had the best game ever created mad no two this i mean this intro i remember just watching this intro every time i put the game on i never would skip it i just always wanted to watch it all the way through all right so here we are at the menu we've got play now let's see what we got for game modes exhibition season franchise tournament custom league i think this was a new feature to the game this year and you still had practice you had situation move where you could run like i think two minute drills and stuff like that you could just put yourself in a certain situation i don't think that's in the game now either that was actually a pretty cool feature hey you got create a team i mean you can't really completely do that now in madden so that's something let's look at the rosters now look at this now brian erlacker from his rookie year to his second year went from a 78 overall to a 90 overall that's what i'm talking about let's look at uh the nfl here so this is what i mean man look at the 99's we got 99's now ray lewis jonathan oddsson marshall faulk tony g warren sap randy moss was right there 98 overall 99 speed this is when moss was just starting to become a super demon in the game all right we're about to do a two-minute drill with the vikings here basically like they just put you in a two-minute drill situation i mean sounds pretty uh you know pretty self-explanatory so basically you got to go 80 yards in two minutes it's basically like a little like a kind of almost like a practice thing you can do but we got randy moss out here who is like a million speed so we're just gonna throw it up and see if we can get to him oh let's go baby let's go granny moss was always dominant madden he's dominant in ultimate team right now he was dominant on ps2 ps3 ps1 every every madden that this guy was on he was a monster let's see on the run baby on the run let's go no huddle no huddle no huddle i think they even kept like high score for this so like you know if your friends played and stuff like you could keep like a high score of like who had you know the highest score in the drill michael bennett this guy was fast i remember let's see come on can we get the edge we gotta bounce save some time that's the only way to stop it is is getting out of bounds in a two-minute drill this brings back memories i remember doing this with my friends all the time like seeing who can get the highest score who could score the quickest and all that good stuff i mean man the graphics look so poo right now but like back in the day this was like oh this is revolutionary look at this nice little window boom let's get it i mean we still got it i'm going back to like eight years old i don't know how old was i man i might have been like 10 or 11. 10 or 11 year old eric still has it time for some mad note 3 action all right here we are at the menu screen we got all these game modes this is when the game really kind of started to like really innovate and take that next step he had many camp and we're definitely playing mini camp yet online this was the first year they had online as well which i mean that's a huge step for the madden series you got franchise tournament two-minute drill football 101 where i think they just kind of would teach you a little bit about football you got practice and you got situations create a playbook i think that's the first time this was in the game still create a team create a player you had madden cards not to be confused with mutt cards but this was something different back in the day ah there he is brian erlacker again went from 78 to 90 to 96 i mean he's just he's just going up the charts but let's go to the nfl look at the 99s ray lewis marshall faulk michael strahan now in the 99 club larry allen warren sapp randy moss still at that 98 didn't quite get to the 99 yet and here's some other big names terrell owens was a monster back then as well we're definitely playing mini cam this is one of the best things matt never put in the game i wish they would bring this back you got me messed up if you think we're not playing some mini cam drills so you would start on rookie level and then as you would beat each drill you could go to the pro level the all pro level and the all madness they kept high score you could see like of your friends who would get the high score and stuff so here you go you could see with 900 points you would get bronze 1200 points you get silver and you would want to aim for that 1400 points to get gold i think as long as you got a trophy period you could advance to the next level but you always was kind of going for that gold and here we go we just got sacked i mean we're just we're messing up already i'm pressing the wrong button i'm used to playing on xbox so that x button kind of uh messes you up a little bit just bobbing and weaving out here though we already got the bronze trophy let's see if we can get the silver we got 10 seconds left we might need to complete another pass or two we need one more i think we could maybe get the silver let's get it baby i mean we'll take it we took a sack early on and then we took a sack at the end right there as well not too bad i wanna where's the uh yeah the running back ground attack rushing attack man this was rushing attack was it man this was like the best drill in the game all right we need 2200 points to get gold we're going for gold this time we kind of messed up on the other one we're gonna try to get gold this time we got emmitt smith one of the better running backs of all time all-time leading rushing yards uh guy as well i don't even know like the controls i don't know how to really juke and stuff like that i'm not even sure i think you could juke i just don't remember how there we go like like look at this come on emmitt smith come on emmitt smith let's go baby i don't think we're getting the gold i think we're too rusty out here honestly we're we're too rusty we don't really know what we're doing he really can't stop the duke though that that's quite clear come on we got one last run i mean will this be enough no we can't even break the tackle d-line trench flight was one of my favorite ones as well because it was timed in seconds so you had to get 7.75 seconds to get gold basically you'd have to get off the blocks and like retrieve these flags like so and you had to do like three of them let's go run them over douglas run them over douglas run them over let's go let's go on the first try baby i still got it i still got the d-line trench flight skills oh yes it's time baby mad no four yo man mad no four this was a true game changer the whole michael vick experience they added playmaker to this game which is still in the game till today where you can like reroute wide receivers in the field they added owner mode to franchise i think they updated like the playbooks and made them real life uh like team playbooks and stuff and they just did all kind of stuff i mean you could see you've got franchise tournament mini camp two minute drill all of that let's check out owner mode real quick now here it is the owner's box the first year they did this i remember reading about this before the game came out and it was just at this time like mind blowing like what you can really change the prices on tickets you can make them too high you know you can make them too low i just the fact that you could do all of this was you know back then when you were reading about this was crazy you know and people laugh about it today um and stuff like that but back then this was like you know if you wanted to just tax you wanted to like ten dollars for a beer you wanted to get them concession prices up merchandising you know it was just revolutionary for the time you could even pull up your balance sheet and see your assets your ticket sales like all that you could track this throughout the year and try to have a goal of like how much money you wanted to make i mean we got to play with the falcons we we got to go crazy with michael vick this is back when he was just untouchable in the game i used to love this back in the day when they would show players like really warming up on field like i don't know those little things back in the day were such a big deal they don't really do that that much nowadays i don't even think where they would show players like you know running routes and throwing the ball or you know just running in place or just anything like here you got work done like taking the hand off or like you know practicing taking the hand off i used to love stuff like this bro the falcons were so crazy i mean they had vic obviously work done was fast you had brian feneron who was crazy but i mean we're here to run with vic i mean that that's what we're here to do i mean just look how fast this man is i mean we're just taking unnecessary hits though see back then you act you had to actually pull the passing icons down before you could run so it was a little different the spin move was oh lord the spin move was really crazy too back then i mean this was madden on like ps2 just pull down the icons and run with vic i mean like literally and just try to spin people try to oh lord he got lit up he wouldn't fun believe that was the thing he wouldn't fumble go up the field come on vic come on vic the game just shouldn't be this this easy but it was i mean that's just how it was back in the day touchdown algae crumpler i mean we ran like almost the whole field with vic but you know that that was mad back in the day like there was there wasn't even qb spies or anything in the game at this time so there was really nothing you could do about it this is it man mad no five the pinnacle to a lot of people now a lot of people would say magnum 5 is the greatest madden ever it's not my personal favorite but you know it was just a good time they kept innovating nfl 2k5 was out as well it was just it was a good time to be a football fan let's see we got online of course franchise tournament you got the mini games mini camp uh they did add create a fan this year which was great they had a lot of new stuff to franchise as well you had the other created things that you could do here let's create a fan real quick uh this was actually really fun you could create a fan and he would appear in the stadium uh if you were playing with that team so we'll just do the saints but i mean you had like you know it was pretty pretty in depth for for back in the day i mean there was there was some things you could do like you could have him with like you know the painted on his uh you know no shirt with like paint on them you could you know change his jeans you could change shirts his face his hair you put face paint on him i mean like it was it was a pretty in-depth game like to be honest like for 2005 this was you know this was pretty cool you could put props on them hot dog a camera you'd have something that was like relevant to whatever team he was a fan of so like you could create this and he would be in the stands you know when you score a touchdown it was pretty cool let's see what the top rated players are we got jonathan ojen ray lewis is still up there mike vander jack that's a name this dude was a beast of a kicker for a few years champ bailey randy moss just can't seem to get to that 99 he's always a 98 he got levar airington orlando paige shane lechler ty law i mean you got some heavy hitters here strahan brian dawkins jason taylor marvin harris and tony g we're gonna play with the falcons again because michael vick was even more dangerous this year than he was last year i mean michael vick was super crazy for a few years but i want to say this might have been the year he was like really just like on a different level look i mean look at this qb power like look at this look like there's just nothing you could do just one play that this was madden back then just just run with vic and you're off to the races it was that easy he was so fast like it was just unbelievable let's go hit stick baby this is the first year of the hit stick i don't know that i clicked on perfectly there i'm still like weird with the controls so you can see like now the play call screen's a little bit better like it would show you the zones and stuff nine velcro i remember people used to love this play this had nine people in covered stock a lot of people would run this play and you could see like you could just do defensive like you could do like defensive coverages and stuff now like change zones like you couldn't do this previous years um you could not change the defense of players zones or put them in spies or things like that that was you know first the thing this year and it was pretty limited there was only you know like so much you could do like you could put them in a hard flat a yellow zone a spy you could blitz somebody i mean there's a there's a few things you could do you could hit stick people twin fades i think i remember this being like a crazy play i don't remember like my memory's a little foggy but i want to say this was like like a cheese play back in the day but we're just going to run with vic anyway because i mean we got michael vicks so like why wouldn't we we already got 100 yards rushing with him in the first quarter we're gonna go back to this qb power again and just see like dude look how good this qb power is he's so fast look at this two qb powers two touchdowns i mean like you think the game is cheesy now dude the game was cheesy on ps2 as well like especially with guys like michael vick it was just too easy it was like taking candy from a baby now it's time for some mad no 6 action this was the first game that started the nfl exclusive license with ea sports so we still got franchise mode we've got superstar mode that's the first year that we got superstar mode we're definitely going to look at that we got many games in practice of course look at the rosters look at all these 99s jonathan oddsson ray lewis ed reed all three 99s on the same team that is crazy shane leckler randy moss finally is a 99 overall let's go randy vina terry and david akers two kickers at 99. of course we got peyton manning all right we're about to jump into the superstar mode like there's just no way we're not playing superstar mode we're gonna we're gonna go create our player and stuff like that so it was kind of cool you know you had like an iq test you had the dna with your parents all kind of cool stuff up to you know form your players so right here you can see father is a museum director mother is a swat team we're probably going to go ahead and regenerate this and at the top you'll see it'll tell you like best position you know of choice uh that would be the position that would have the highest ceiling for you you could still change to other positions but you know whatever position was at the top of the screen was going to be the one that you would excel the most at so you'd want to kind of regenerate till you find the right position that you wanted you know just for the memes let's go ahead and just be a kicker i mean why not now you could see we could still change our position anything we wanted like you can't even do this in today's game that's what's crazy you don't have like a true superstar mode where you could pick any position you want and you can do all of your like you know fixing your body type and all that good stuff but we're just gonna kind of move past that then you had your apartment with your calendar you could go like get haircuts and stuff this this was so much fun so we've got a mentor meeting here so you would talk to like a mentor i don't know if it was always tyrell davis but they would ask you some questions and all of this factored into like what your player would be so now we gotta sign an agent and i remember a lot of the agents they would not like sign you it's just what it was and again this all went into like the player that you wound up being and you know all that good stuff so we're gonna hire ted said now we got the iq test this is like my favorite part so see i worry about the perception of others about me i mean clearly you're gonna say no here because you know that's what the gms want to hear they don't want to hear that you care what people think about you so i mean you know we could say who cares i guess we'll say no the letter k is the 22nd letter in the alphabet that has to be false right there's only 26 letters now it's draft time so we're in the second round still haven't been drafted yet i mean nobody really drafts kickers early um so they they just not messing with your boy right now uh hopefully we get picked up here in the third round i mean we don't want to just go at the end and of course the giants okay looks like we're playing for the giants all right now we got mad no seven we're jumping over to the next generation the xbox 360. now honestly magno 7 was way better on ps2 but i played madno 7 on the 360. when i saw this game on display like in best buy i had to have it it just i just had to have it so uh it just looked too realistic at the time we've got many games you still got superstar mode franchise got hall of fame uh your gamer level and some things like that you can see like the created like stuff kind of went away you still could create a player but i don't think there's any created team or like create a fan all that stuff was gone on next gen let's check out the mini games i think this is when they started doing like the 40 yard dash and stuff like that so okay yeah so you could see like you got 40 yard dash bench press the quarterback challenge running back challenge coverage challenge that one was pretty fun and the lyman challenge uh we're not gonna do all of them but we're gonna we'll do the 40 yard dash in the bench press i believe this is when you had to like you know flick the sticks for the 40 yard dash i wasn't uh the best at it but we do got reggie bush who is fast so that does not look like reggie bush at all that i don't know who that is that ain't reggie bush that that looks like somebody just did you just pulled off the street out of his out of his nine to five job all right let's go let's go we're flicking it we're flicking it we're flicking it up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down let's go let's go let's go a four point five that's not two let's see and the computer beat us the computer ran a four three four so we lost that one at a bench press i was usually pretty decent at the bench press so you got to get it in the green and then you got to hit the triggers on the way down so you can like replenish your stamina and you don't want to let it get in the red all right we're doing all right we're not doing bad we gotta at least try to aim for like 30 i think like that's like a pretty respectable number 22 i'm not letting the computer beat me at this they beat me at the 40 yard dash but look we are just bench pressing the hell out of these weights i mean we're just a power lifter out here this might be the last one can we get one more can we get one more no we got 30. that's what i said i wanted to get damn we tied with the computer really i mean all right computer you got me see this is what i saw in best buy they had like a demo of the game on this is what i saw i just saw the player intros the players running out and my mind was just made up right there on the spot i said i can't play ps2 anymore i gotta go buy a 360. this is what made me buy 360 literally these intros right here i just i just couldn't fathom that it could look this good during that time i mean this was mind-blowing i'm gonna show you my favorite play like my head no 607.08 i used to run this play into the ground shotgun empty four wide receiver in the saints playbook the play clearouts i ran there's like 100 times a game like this was just the play i ran i would try to hit the post to henderson pretty much every play or i'd like dump it down to one of these little routes underneath sometimes if i had a one-on-one on the outside i'd take it but this is basically what i did every play i just throw this post and it would pretty much be open every time computer even in online games like if i was playing someone that wasn't like really great at the game i'll just throw this over and over and over he's pretty much gonna always be open over the middle always throw it that time he went a little deeper but look he still like this was it if you could stop this play like you could beat me like i didn't have like nothing else like i would just throw this over and over and over as you can see it still works mad no wait xbox 360 my absolute favorite madden of all time man i don't even know where to start i mean game mode wise is kind of the same thing mini games superstar franchise you know yet practice mode um they did add some more creative stuff back to the game i believe you had created team now being added back to the game which was cool but this game to me is special because of just how crazy arcadia was it was like a very very specific like experience that i needed to go to practice mode to just show you the crazy stuff you could do in this game atlanta falcons playbook shotgun trio this was one of the most popular formations of the game the play cross punch like these crossing routes super deadly but the user catching in this game was on a different level so i'm actually just going to go to like a spread set because i just want to show you like the crazy stuff you could do user catching in this game it was glitchy all right so like randy moss was obviously the most dangerous he was like 6'5 99 speed but you could do all these different types of user catching in this game so like the first one was just like a regular user catch you put them on a fade or like a streak on the outside and you would just cut the ball off watch you would like throw it and you would do that every time and it was almost like you couldn't defend it it was so glitchy all right so watch the replay i want to show you what's going on here if you didn't play the game back then so you would throw the ball just like a bullet pass the db would turn his back you'd click on to your receiver you you'd swerve him inside like to cut the ball off like this and watch like you see how the db does this like backhanded like catch animation he would do that pretty much every time and you could not defend this you had to click on and try to make a play yourself but it was tough then you had spectacular catches which only like the most elite like spectacular catch type receivers could do where they would do like that they would like jump in the air and again the dbs would just dumb out but if you did this four times in a row you would get a first down like you just would but then you could also rocket catch so watch how glitchy this is this was like the glitchiest one you just put the ball in a certain spot you strafe and you go up like that and catch the ball and then again usually you'd go for touchdowns because people would dumb out and just dive at you back in the instant replay watch this i want you to watch i'm strafing on offense like he would he would turn around on a dime 180 degrees because you're using the strafe button and then you'd hold the catch button he'd go up like that this is called a rocket catching watch how the db just keeps running like he could never respond he would just dumb out every time when you're in the red zone it was a whole nother game so remember that play cross punch i showed you this little like route here to moss this little s post so glitchy like you would just motion it over like this the easiest touchdown in the game it was so easy to score in the red zone you just throw a high ball like right here hold the catch button he'd do that every time one handed catch literally every time and there was nothing you could do to stop it easiest game i think ever to score in the red zone look every time he's gonna one-handed grab it it doesn't matter now i know what you're thinking well somebody would just use her it was hard to use or that honestly but even if they did you would just put somebody else on a streak like ben watson here throw a high ball same thing he would just go up in one-handed you know the broncos are sick in this game too because you had brandon marshall and javon walker both of them could spectacular catch both of them were tall you had uh jay cutler who had like a rocket arm so like this was like super easy to do here too look like this is which this is how you would play just up and down the field like this is why it was difficult because you could just literally do it all over the field like like you can't defend both sidelines and then you had stuff down the seams and then you had running backs you could hand off to like there was so much they had to worry about one handed easy there's nothing you could do about it that that was offense like you just user it or do these like get these triggered like animation computer catches and that was it you were scoring every drive it was it was a lot of fun it it looks annoying and it was but it was also a lot of fun to play mad no nine now magno 9 was kind of similar to oh wait in terms of like rocket catching user catching in some ways it was worse the metas were really annoying this year as well you had franchise superstar mode yeah the virtual trainer the madden test these were kind of some new things they threw into the game let's check this out so this was like this little virtual like it was just this weird like madden test where it would like determine your skill level like you would just do these like weird little drills on this like virtual gridiron i don't even know how to explain it it was it was it was kind of weird honestly like it looks as weird as it is now rocket catching was still a big deal this year too but they did remove the strafe button from offense so you had to like manually try to turn your guy around to do it notice how i'm doing it right here like i had to like do this myself i had to click on turn him around and then go up and catch it thing that was most annoying was curl routes you could rocket catch curls and these were like you couldn't defend them you would just do this every play and they would dumb out like you saw there was a defender right underneath me there he would never defend that you could never defend this in mad no not it was so hard like you see how he's sitting right underneath it it didn't matter i put him on a curl i would throw a high point bullet pass click on walk him forward hold the catch button and this would happen the defender even if he's in front of me he would just drift behind every time and just stand there and let me go up and get this i promise you you think i'm joking this is how people would run offense they would do this i'm not even joking you this would be offense like they blocked the running back because people would be blitzing but they put four curls on the field literally four curls on the field and like just whatever one looked better they would go catch it and he dropped it right there but that that's just what people would do you could do it in the slot it didn't matter you could do it anywhere on the field curl route catch it every time they do they would not hardly ever drop it it wouldn't be defended it just didn't matter this is when they had rewinds in the game too so like you could pick the amount of rewinds you wanted like unlimited five one zero nobody ever played with rewind zones it was stupid basically if you messed up on a play they would let you rewind the play and play it over no tackle oh lay him out with the hammer that was you had the weapons this year too so like i went out of bounds uh ken hamlin had like the the hard hitter like the big hitter weapon like it's kind of like abilities now but they're a little bit different so like if you laid a hit stick with ken hamlin or like roy williams but we injured him too look we took his leg out like they would hit harder because they had the big hitter weapon they had the little hammer icons so this is why everybody used the cowboys this year because they had the tall receivers to do like those little rocket catches on the curls but then they had the perfect backfield this was the other like thing that people did they did fullback dive or they did the toss out of this iform twin tight end so you see the little weapons how felix jones has the little the little track shoe because he was fast and marion barber has a little truck icon because he could truck so those people do they would just run full back dive up the middle and it was so hard to stop you would think it wouldn't be it was hard to stop you couldn't stop fullback dive this year like you would have to overcompensate to the point where it was just ridiculous and you'd have to stuff everybody in the box and then when you did that people would hit you with the toss to felix jones you would run the fullback dive to the point where they would be so committed inside and then you just hit the toss to the outside and the toss had really good blocking on it as well it was just a problem we'll go ahead and use our rewind here because the rewind was a feature this year not that we needed to use it but just to kind of show you how it works um but it was i mean this was just how the game was that year it was it was fullback dive it was uh the toss to the outside and then you would if you needed to throw you would put guys on curls or fades and just rocket catching that's why nobody really liked mad no nine men 10 my second favorite madden game honestly this might be my favorite madden game depending on what day you asked me this was the first year they had ultimate team it wasn't in the game at launch but it came in a patch like halfway through the year so you know depending on who you ask this could be the year things kind of went downhill they still had you know the career modes they had franchise uh they started superstar mode which was cool uh they had madden moments which is actually cool you could play mad moments they had practice they started the mini games the madden virtual test madden 10 was kind of similar to madden 20 like if you remember madden 20 everybody ran stretch madden 10 everybody ran off tackle and they threw to the flats those were like the two op things this year and there was so many off tackles in this running gun playbook like it was basically like a five yard gain almost every time like right there that might not look like much but it was so hard to stop this run for less than a five yard gain it was literally just like madden 20 with the stretch you would get like four or five yards a pop and then you know you'd break the long one for a touchdown watch this i'm gonna call cover two every play and they will never stop flat roads another thing that people did this year like they ran off tackle but that you would just like abuse the flats because the the cover two zones like i mean i got a horrible animation there still got four yards but they just it was like death by a thousand cuts they just would not stop flat routes they would kind of drift back like that and you could just easily go underneath pick up four or five yards of pop death by a thousand cuts there was not much you could do about it like you really had to i mean look at this is like almost 15 yards on a flat pass you had to do like some really unorthodox things to stop the flat roads the pre-game was pretty cool this year i remember they would show like the fans doing stuff before the game hanging out buying merch or you know whatever then they'd show like some pre-game stuff some stats sometimes they'd show players like warming up for a little bit it was pretty decent pre-game for madden 10. now i didn't run like a lot of the flat route passes or the uh off tackle stuff i ran the cardinals playbook i ran this flip trips formation i ran a lot of plays but my main go-to is deep fork this is still in the game till this day it's just not as good as it was back then i'd put this outside guy on a streak i'd motion him in and give it a bunch looking this was a nice flood of routes on the left but the running back route was literally like i would go to this every play if you didn't like user this i'd either throw it against man like that or if it was zone i would throw it a little bit quicker um this corner route was really good out here like this corner route would do so good against man and that's austin kali he wasn't even amazing but it would do a good job against man it would get open against zone very well too it was just this play was nasty and a little fourth and ten here but not to worry we just we just go to the trusty good play i mean like one way or the other like you would get the post or you would get the corner open or i could hit the half back if i needed to it was it was just too much i did have one off tackle in this playbook handy if i needed it for situations like that off tackle it was easy money all day in madden 10. madden 11. oh man this is one of my favorite madden intros i mean obviously i'm a saints fan and this was like kind of showing the saints season how they went on to win the super bowl man this is probably my favorite madden intro just because of like the significance but this is back when madden had like actual dope intros of course you had ultimate team this was like the first full year of ultimate team game mode wise you stood franchise you had madden moments practice the mini games the virtual trainer superstar mode so kind of at this point it wasn't like a lot of like new stuff it was just kind of tweaking and dropping little things in there yeah i'm looking at the back cover here and this looks like a game today it was just like play games in half the time fewer buttons more moves like better announcers or something like that they did add team play this year for a regular team so you could do that let's take a look at the roster we didn't do this for the past few minutes darrell revis this is when rivas island was in full effect aaron rodgers antonio gates still bawling tom brady just always a 99 jake long john beason this guy was a beast like him and patrick willis really were like kind of on the same level for a couple years but then john beason just fell off the planet i don't know what happened uh adrian peterson my guy jarry evans let's try some mad moments so it says here the packers of green bay walked onto the home field with confidence you would expect from a team playing the bengals they walked on the field however with a different sight altogether down by seven the packers recovered an onside kick with 45 seconds left do what the packers could not and complete the comeback i think we can accomplish that let's see let's see i think could you use your catch this year i think you had like the little yeah the little basket catch like you would just do this little basket catch just like that i can't believe it just came back to me that quick you have a guy on a feed you throw a high ball and you kind of like swerve in a position and you get that little over the head basket catch that worked every time i mean we're going for two we're not we're we're not we're not playing for ot here we're we're we're built we're built a little different we're going for two i mean no one's open i mean no one's let's go let's go no it's really open but at the last second he got in front we'll take it complete the comeback baby all right so this still had like the little pregame with the fans outside like buying stuff or just hanging out coming off the bus i think the pre-game was definitely a little bit better this year they showed a little bit more i want to say pre-game i don't know if they showed the players warming up or not can't remember okay yeah so they did they showed them warming up i like this i wish they would kind of go back to something like this oh yeah split slot this is definitely something i ran the z option i remember this i don't remember too much stuff that i ran this year but i remember this play and this formation was good but this place specifically this little auto motion of reggie bush right here was super annoying like he would just get this like running head start and you could just throw this quick flat and it was like an easy five plus yards pretty much every play and i just knew that this was like the bread and butter play that you had to make people respect like look that was it was just so easy to get that speed boost with if you had a fast guy and then that was it i mean you was pretty much just off to the races like if they didn't set the defense up a specific way to stop that one route time for some madden 12 action now i wasn't the biggest fan of madden 12 but a lot of people do like this game because it was the last year that franchise mode was good it was the last year that we had a real superstar mode in the game it was the last year that many games was in the game so it is kind of a significant game ton of 99 overalls patrick willis adrian peterson demarcus ware aaron rodgers justin smith i remember he was a beast my guy drew brees finally got to the 99 overall shane leckler this is the last year they had created team in the game too which was also significant i mean this is back when you had like a lot of options and stuff you could do to create teams i mean this obviously is something people have been wanting back and in the game for a long time i mean this was just like super sick like for people that like creating teams and like making their own story you know there was there was just so much stuff you could do you can even edit the stadiums too like none of this is like in the game anymore it's crazy i mean dude look at this stuff man like this these things used to be staples in the game and it's just they're just not there anymore last year for many games man like i i don't understand how this stuff isn't isn't back in the game now like this would be so awesome i mean i'm kind of teasing right now picking ap he was just so unstoppable in these games he was fast he could juke he could break tackles i mean he could pretty much do it all i mean they can't even catch me dialing it up dialing it up we still got it man i mean we still got all the hot dots i couldn't tell you what i ran this year i really don't remember i just remember down the seams like the seams were just the game this year lambo leap baby they brought it back this year kind of but you know we used to have it back in the day and then they removed it you know i i don't know why all right let's play some madden 13. bro the ray lewis intro this was another awesome intro this is definitely it's got to be in the top three now i like madden 13 but a lot of people don't like this year's game because this was the year they stripped franchise mode of everything they got rid of superstar mode mini games they kind of like hit a reset calvin johnson 99 overall but he is the cover boy adrian peterson jj watt was starting to emerge after one year in the league he was a 99 patrick willis darrell revis the niners and the seahawks were filthy in this game this was like the two teams everybody used they did a little new intro sequence this year this was the first time they did this i was kind of trying to make it look like a broadcast i guess like something you would see on like a sunday night football dude that's not colin kaepernick at all who was that that guy looked like mr clean or something there's a little bit of a pregame i mean that's not russell wilson either who is that guy that phil sims and jim nance people want them back on the game or just somebody different than what we have today i mean dude look at this this is not colin kaepernick i don't know who this guy is but that's not him this is the play i ran most of the year philly halfback angle man it was it was so many good things so this little fade route would do such a good job against like zone this angle route was good this tight end little streak that went to the inside i don't remember exactly how i ran it but i just remember like this right there that was hard to stop with vernon davis like he would just drift to the inside then if you had kaepernick you could take off and run he was like 88 speed he was he was a beast and they had randy moss on this team he wasn't as fast but he was a little bit older but still he was good enough so you see how i threw that little fade to the inside there that was super hard to defend it was like it was a stock fade route you would pass lead it inside and it was just cut to the inside of the defender every time this was really my bread and butter play i mean i know i mixed some other things in but this is the only thing i truly remember watch watch the fade to the inside every time it was like it was like you could use or catch it or even let the computer catch it it was super hard to stop that let's see even when it was defended like he would get good animations on that route just like that it was it was definitely tough it was this was a tough play this year i think this is the year four six bear under was really good on defense if i'm not mistaken like you would blitz six people i think problem ran this i think this is where i learned that from but i'm not 100 sure i mean let's go i mean dude patrick willis was was a goon bro if patrick willis laid a hit stick on you that was the result you were pretty much going to fumble i mean patrick willis was such a goon in this game half back angle baby and then the angle route would be so good underneath as well man this was it don't look like much but it was a tough play to defend and then see if it was man the fade would just roast the man coverage just like that so you couldn't play you couldn't play man because he would roast you over the top it would be unbumpable but if it was zone you'd have that pocket where you could just lead it to the inside and they wouldn't react you'd have to like manually try to guard it read options were also really glitchy this year i don't remember 100 but i think read options were glitchy like i think you could just do this all day and they just yeah they just wouldn't really react that well to it read options and like qb raps i'm pretty sure this year they were really tough and that's another reason people use the niners because kaepernick was the best player to do it with no it's not madden 14 it's actually madden 25 for the 25th anniversary you ever wonder what they're gonna do in a few years when they have to put out madden 25 and there's already been a madden 25 like are they going to call it madden 25 part 2 wasn't a whole lot to do in this game they brought owner mode back this was on the infinity engine so the gameplay was kind of nice uh they definitely added like i think the true step the running and stuff the player movement was pretty realistic but there wasn't much to do in this game calvin johnson's still in 99 adrian peterson 99 jj watt 99 evan mathis aaron rodgers rob gronkowski i think this is when they added the skills trainer i i don't i i don't think this was in the previous games like they had the virtual trainer but then this year they added a skills trainer so i mean that was cool and all graphics don't look that good i feel like i remember the graphics being better this year i mean we're just some oklahoma drill demons here like we're just scoring every time we got a little pregame intro action going here this is another year where the niners and the seahawks were both super good i'm pretty sure those are the two teams most people used it was like a two three year stretch where those teams were just unbelievable i don't think i played the game too heavy this year i think this was a year that like i only played a little bit i kind of took the year off um just doing other things but i just could not tell you what was the most popular things oh my god wait was this the year that the double duke was crazy oh my lord i think this was the year that maybe running the ball and like doing jukes were really crazy i could be wrong but after seeing how percy harvin just juked i think this was the year like double juking and certain run plays were overpowered all right i had to start a new game because i needed to switch my playbook i believe this is the year that the run was really good in this saints halfback power run was super glitchy and i think this was also the year of the stiff arm glitch if you would just spam the stiff arm button like your player would be un like tacklable especially marshawn lynch i'm not 100 sure if that was this year's version of the game i think it was it's starting to come back to me a little bit now but man this saints half back power like look how good this was look how good this run was let's see if i could do it i'm trying to figure out how to do the stiff arm glitch i know there was like some type of a stiff arm glitch where if you just spam the button they just couldn't get tackled i think that was this year's game it could have possibly been the following year but i think it was this year but just i mean just for the sake of it look how good this power run is like this was one of the most ridiculous runs ever in men i could run it over and over and over like this was just you just couldn't stop it like look how good the blocking was both of these guys lead blocking would just get in perfect position every time even in goal line like nothing could stop this run i just ran it down the field zero resistance like you had to have amazing run d to even have a chance to stop this well now the disc is unreadable so i guess that's it for madden 25 it's the home stretch we're on xbox one now starting with madden 15. i really like madden 15. i was pretty good at this game on offense especially i don't remember what i did on defense but there wasn't a whole lot really new to this game either people just mainly played ultimate team i think this year i actually played regs i didn't start playing ultimate team until the following year richard sherman was a 99 overall he was on the cover of the game of course jj watt was still in 99 tom brady just always at the top of the ratings darrell rivas aaron rodgers vontae davis von miller justin houston rob gronkowski so let's just try the gauntlet this is the first year they put the gauntlet in the game so i mean why not let's see what we can do in the gauntlet all right spacing concept easy little oklahoma drill i mean we're just good at this i mean get in there please i mean we're just killing it right now we're already on level nine this one yet you had to have a lot of patience on this one right here a lot of patience oh we almost messed that up too oh we almost messed that up but we good got a score touchdown and got to use a special move oh lord did you see that juke oh my god yeah this was another year where the double duke was filthy i mean let's go this one was always like the hardest one to me trying to like fit the ball in the hot spot like it was super hard got the pre-game here i remember they would show like a couple players from each team show their stats up on the screen kind of similar to what they do now but they would do it with this different little like futuristic presentation then they'd show the stadium it would be silver and then it would just transform into the real stadium it was pretty cool look chip kelly man that's the name he ran that team into the ground now i think this is the year i ran a lot of single back tight slots the counter type runs or the cut back this thing was so nasty and what was so great about this formation is you could flip it to either side but nobody would move so if i wanted to flip the run i could just flip the play and the run would flip to either side but nobody would move you wouldn't know that i was flipping it so i would just flip it to whatever side looked better and i would just take the run like that i mean and then the jukes were really good and stuff like that this year as well yeah man this run was super nasty like counter runs just in general type runs were really really good this year then i mix in the half back wheel play i don't remember if i set it up a certain way but this play was really good you could motion this corner out and it would be like really glitchy and then you could just dump it down to one of the guys underneath if if you had to get rid of it quick this was a tough formation pistol bunch tight end i think this might be the first year this formation was in the game this strong power and this counter were both very good in tandem just a tough formation to stop the passes were obviously good but this was probably the best year for the run out of this formation like this this counter run was super super good just like every other counter in the game got to try the strong power now i believe this one was really good too yeah like the blocking was super yeah i mean the blocking was super good i actually really liked this game this was definitely a runners type game uh you could pass good as well but i i really enjoyed this game well it's time to move on to madden 16. now man 16 was definitely a love hate game uh they added the new catch system this year the aggressive catching was super wild they did add the draft champions mode which a lot of people liked other than that i don't think they did too many other crazy changes see we got marshall yonder luke keakley aaron donald von miller jj watt tyron smith rob gronkowski antonio brown that's a lot of 99 overalls damn i wish we could play draft champions but the servers aren't online for this game anymore yeah so they basically copied and pasted the pre-game stuff this year i mean we've seen that uh quite a few times before with this series and you know we got to play with the giants we got to show off the aggressive catch with odell beckham that was the story of this year they put the new catch system in where you could possession catch it rat catch it or aggressive catch it and they didn't tune it properly the aggressive catch was so op this year and it hasn't been nearly as good since i definitely ran a lot of this formation this year i remember verticals really good like if they ran cover three like that middle route would get wide open and then you could always throw up like an aggressive catch to odell beckham so like we're gonna throw up an aggressive catch he's one on one hold why that was literally the game right there just hold why and he would go up and get it like oh man that was so frustrating like no skill at all just throw it up and hold wide didn't even have to click on he would get those stupid animations every time we're about to throw it again if it's one on one yep yep one-on-one whole why i mean he just out he honestly just burned him that time that he just burnt him that time that was that was nothing to do with the aggressive catch and then he did the same damn touchdown dance every single time this got old pretty quick i think this was a defense a lot of people started using at the end of the year crossfire i don't really remember how it was set up though but i know it brought really good pressure but i'm probably not setting it up right so it ain't gonna really work let's go oh my god we lit him up the inside zone run was really good this year too people used to abuse this because you could like break it to the outside look how good the blocking was on this this was what was so annoying you could aggressive catch easily cover threes would get super abused by verticals and then you had to worry about inside zone every play because the blocking was just ridiculous on it i mean bro they would just literally hold the receivers it was so easy to get five plus yards this looks like odell territory right here oh yeah oh yeah aggressive that's i mean it was so easy yeah i mean the proof is in the pudding all right so i went to practice mode real quick so i wanted to see something i think i remember this year if you called cover three versus trips verticals almost every time i'd leave the middle of the field wide open for a touchdown yeah like you see what i'm saying like the the middle deep third would just run away from the field for some weird reason and it it was impossible to really play cover three this year watch he's just gonna keep like vacating the middle of the field and leaving it wide open look just every time he would just leave the middle of the field and a cover three and just let the streak go for a touchdown that was wild all right let's get into madden 17. all right so madden 17 pretty good game gameplay-wise but they didn't change a whole lot this year they changed the commentary team i believe some gameplay tweaks um the servers are still online but they're not really working very well so can't really get into an online game i tried it just wasn't working let's see we got luke keikley von miller jj watt rob gronkowski those are our 99 overalls then we got khalil mack aaron donald julio jones aaron rodgers antonio brown kind of rounding out the top guys they didn't really do much i think pregame on the field just showed a couple little clips like the huddle and the sidelines kind of similar to the last game or two it didn't really overhaul this anytime recently this was the year that nickel blitz was crazy this is one of the best defenses in madden history you literally could just drop these three guys back and look the cornerback would come off the edge just like that every time and you'd have to just get rid of the ball quick or you'd get hit or you had to like run out of the pocket quick now this is what i ran this year a lot of people ran this the single back jumbo heavy this formation was awesome this year this was probably the best that this formation has ever been uh people have tried to kind of run this every year since madden 17 but madden 17 it was just crazy this pa like counter waggle play was super super good especially against the stuff that people oh lord we just got screamed at by the computer but yeah this formation was really good against the stuff that people really liked to do this year which a lot of people love to play cover 2 and that corner route would just smoke it every time this was another good setup right here both of these corner outs super super hard to defend like they would almost always get into a pocket you could either kill man defense with them or you could low pass them against zones it was a pain then the runs were pretty good out of this for the most part as well like you could definitely mix in the run and have some good success so when you when you when you talk about the run and the pass out of this it was it was tough and this formation could block nickel blitz which was another good thing about it watch watch this is a cover 2 right here watch how this just got super open that that route would just destroy cover 2 and people just pretty much used to sit and cover 2 defenses this year let's see if we could dot this up for a touchdown back in the end zone boom easy money easy money oh nickel blitz action on third and long i bet it comes screaming off the edge yep look at it in his face like dude nickel blitz was this was the defense this year dollar even is really good too i was a bigger fan of nickel blitz this formation was really sick there was just so many things you could do with hot routes because they had good enough stock routes and a couple plays you could just mix it up like you could set up a one plate touchdown out of this right here which was pretty good if they were in cover three which it looks like they're in and you see how like antonio brown's just wide open actually through that a little too early but it's all good because we're in there for a touchdown up next is madden 18. madden 18 the first year of the frostbite engine which i'm not a fan of i think this is kind of when things started to go more downhill this is the year they had a long shot as well which was not very good either i mean it was okay i guess but it wasn't that great see the 99 overalls we got aaron donald of course jj watt and rob gronkowski some of the other top players are von miller julio jones antonio brown tom brady of course always at the top every year aaron rodgers khalil mack bobby wagner luke cakely i think my ultimate team was kind of bad because i sold off a lot of the stuff at the end of the year yeah it's only 89 overall so that's not very good um you know at this point of the year at the end of the year you know you should be in the high 90s but i did sell off a lot of my team we got some coins so i mean we could buy a pack let's buy ultimate legends fantasy pack we have just enough coins let's see if we can pull a 99 overall that would be cool all right let's see i i feel like packs are pretty bad this year if i remember correctly doesn't look like there's anything too good here i just want to pull a 99 overall let me see let me see it let me oh man we got 96 i mean i guess you know could be worse all right so we got a game here we're starting on defense first let's go blow it up in the backfield baby i honestly don't remember exactly what i did on defense this year i know this was the year of 91 zone where those guys would play superhuman we have the seahawks so earl thomas does have that 91 zone threshold but i think it was like crossfire blitzes a lot of people ran cover four i know i did run four six normal a good bit because it had good block sheds uh and stuff like that but i mean i'd be lying if i said i remember exactly what i did i know i ran a lot of dollar crossfire but i don't know how to set that up now i always forget how to set the defenses up so oh maybe he's boxed oh we're going for we're feeling lucky okay i like this i like this i'm gonna put a little spy there to give me a little extra help oh we're running it i mean that's just not gonna that that wasn't what you wanted to do so this was the year gun bunched in west coast was really good most people ran mesh post and dig half back out so like what you would do is you would max protect you'd streak the middle guy and so you'd have like this little three route combo here where basically that's all you needed was three routes the post had to be user guarded or it would be almost automatic and if they did that you dump it down to the drag and then dig half back out was like flipped it had a post on the left side and you'd have a drag coming from the right and uh it was definitely a lot to deal with i mean this guy's on the d line here which is not good look right there mesh post easy touchdown this this formation and those couple plays were so good this year nothing yeah baby sherman legion of boom baby still going strong this post right here specifically man this post was so good i can't believe they took this play out of the game i think they did just because the play really was like too good like this post just beat pretty much everything he might be in a cover three or he could be in man i think he's in cover three so watch a should be wide open over the top ah we were too close i think hey we got aggressive caught him screw it we just gonna aggressive catch you uh he was he was in a cover three match so that's a little bit different nope come on let's go baby man this i mean this dude i'm gonna be honest this dude's not very good but i was pretty decent in madden 18 i mean don't you know this guy's not the greatest i'm not trying to flex on this guy but i was i was pretty good at madden 18. see if we could punch this in here come on carson there we go there we go let's get it man that's 21 nothing right there we'll go ahead and concede the game for the fella i ain't trying to dunk on them like that just here for video purposes good game my guy all right let's get to madden 19. all right madden 19 uh wasn't the biggest fan of this game either honestly they had long shot two which was even worse than long shot one uh they didn't really add too much else to the game though let's see we got khalil mack bobby wagner aaron donald antonio brown those are the 99s we have von miller jj white julio jones david bacatiari zack martin luke kieckley rob gronkowski and up there he is tom brady always at the top this year my ultimate team was sick i was 96 overall i didn't sell off any of my players into the year i definitely had a saints theme team 50 out of 50 saints so had a lot of saints on the team but pretty pretty nice roster had some pretty good players on defense too got a few holes on the team honestly could have been better but not bad boom just hopped into a little quick mud game since i actually had a good mutt team this year so we'll see if i still got it i mean we were doing good on madden 18 let's see if we still got it on mad 19. so yeah this year i know at the end of the year i ran this little like 4-3 over defense it was just like stock coverages but you got really good block sheds from the d-line so that's kind of what i'm what i'm working with here oh he actually faked me out there come on let's go oh man let's go later that's a pick six no why are you not blocking him dude the linebacker just ran up the field and just didn't even try to block them this was my main little formation this year the split offset and the patriots playbook it was a pretty it was pretty good i liked it i mean this dude is he's like controller dead he's just like standing on the player this dude here man i mean it took way too long to load into this game so all right luckily we were able to find another game very quickly so yeah i really would just run a lot of this 4-3 over just crash the line out you get good block sheds i just switch up the coverage behind it and uh you know just try to confuse them make them hold the ball a little bit and that that was basically it i mean defense that was about as easy as it gets come on come on come on throw it to me throw it to me oh yeah he had a playmaker there he played make him at the last second but you see the block we got there you couldn't hold the ball too long against this defense you would get sacked uh-huh look dude you see how good the bro i'm not i don't lie to y'all the block shed was serious out of this formation let's just try to score a little quick touchdown and then and then we'll just be out of here we'll give them the win so this was like my favorite play um i would like to hit this the tight end the a tight end he would usually get really open i mean he's blitzing though so we're just dumping it down this ricky oh lord this ricky williams was so sick so so sick this year the spin move was really really effective this year um but that ricky williams is just super super good i mean he's just gonna keep i mean blitzing i mean that's what we're gonna do look spin move we out what i said i'm not lying to y'all i mean i'm sure some of y'all remember if you were just playing mad 19 a few years ago but spin move was crazy glitchy this year we should have scored there but we're at the one i'll take it and we're gonna just try to punch it in with ricky all right we're good we're good money baby we're good money that's a gg we're gonna get on out of here all right it's time for madden 20 but i don't have the case because i just have the digital version of the game so now i actually did like madden 20 a good bit i played madden 20 more than i than i played most men's i had fun on it even though the gameplay was kind of whack they had the face of the franchise this year wasn't too bad but it you know it wasn't the greatest either they added superstar ko so they did add a few things to the game some new modes this is also the first year they added abilities and x factors uh which i kind of like they definitely went a little overboard with some of them but it it made the game feel a little bit more fun to me if i'm being honest see we got my boy michael thomas made the 99 club this year after breaking that record got patrick mahomes christian mccaffrey luke keakley couple panthers here aaron donald always at the top i mean just best defensive player in the league i mean face of the franchise wasn't the worst i just had higher hopes for it you know i really wanted it to be more like superstar mode and it just wasn't you know it it it definitely could have been better but for the first year i thought it was all right it wasn't it definitely wasn't the worst the story could have been better though what type of quarterback would i be uh we'll just say scrambler i like running around a little bit so the cool thing about the mode was i mean you did get to play some college football which i mean was nice he hadn't been able to do that in so long so that was kind of one of the few things about the mode that was fun gotta punch this in here we got to impress the nfl coaches uh do we have b we do have b maybe let's get it baby let's get it it look it looked a little sketchy i didn't want to like i don't throw a pic there but we got it in there now this was the year i was definitely the most dedicated to building my mutt team and grinding you can see uh 98 overall 99 what level i like i said i played a lot of madden 20. i mean my team was super sick we might have to get a game in with these guys in a second couldn't tell you why i had seahawks jerseys on but this was the year where you literally would just blitz seven you would blitz seven like this and just try to lurk and that's the one thing i did hate about this game even though i used it i hated how you could literally it was just blitz 7 hover and you would get crazy pressure off the edge like a and you can just lurk all over the field crazy yep let's go i mean dude it was bro blitz 7 have fast people everywhere lurk around easy pick ah good old near close flex this was a fun formation to run it was definitely cheesy but it was fun to run so like you'd get escape artist you you'd put a corner out out there you try to roll out and like hit the corner it was it was definitely oh he's coming oh we got to get it off let's go look at it it still works it still works baby it still works it was definitely a cheesy offense but i don't know to me it was fun to run so sue me this was a pretty pretty bum friendly year uh maybe that's why i was so good at it but like this is what you did you just blitzed seven you got sacks like you made people throw picks it was it definitely was not very skillful now this is also the year that the stretch run was super overpowered stretch and dive was a lot of people's offenses i didn't really do that as much i liked running the near close flex rolling out with my escape artist in passing but uh the run was definitely very good this year uh you know i can't do a madden 20 segment of the video without showcasing the overpowered runs you know because we are playing every madden but but part of that is is kind of showcasing what was good that year what worked you know what people were doing and and the stretch run was let me look at this it was just this easy the stretch run was madden 20. that's just what it was it was that was the biggest thing people are going to always remember about this game all right we're going to go ahead and quit out and give them the win because i'm not here for the wins i'm just here to get some footage for the video we've made it to the end of the road baby madden 21 madden 21 the lowest rated madden game ever uh they didn't do a whole lot new this year they built on face of the franchise but it was really bad they did add the yard which i do think is fun i like the yard they changed up some things about the gameplay but that's basically it so this is the roster after all the updates this isn't the beginning of the year roster but we have 99 mahomes gilmore aaron donald devonte adams made it to the 99 club so did travis kelsey started deandre hopkins and then you got some other top players tyree kill christian mccaffrey miles garrett zack martin jalen ramsey we got a little online game about to pop off it's just a 1v1 me versus somebody else the mode's actually better when you do team play like 2v2 or 3v3 so you have yourself or your teammates and then you pick a few nfl players that are kind of controlled by the computer but you could switch on to them as well it's kind of weird i think they should have just made it user versus user they should have been no computer controlled players but that's how they decided to do it i think it would have been better if it would have just been user on user but you know that that's just what they decided to do let's go pick on the first play are they going to call me for interference i mean come on i'm literally like a like a young earl thomas out here we gonna score no i think they're gonna call me for pass interference though yeah how do you call for pass interference in like a nfl street type of mode like how does that even make sense i mean the guy threw the ball right to me it's not like he was it's not like he made a good read i just happened to bump the guy slightly he's gonna do it again come on throw it to me again look exactly and we're out of bounds come on man come on we got that josh jacobs josh jacobs playing a little db let's go that's a house call that's house call he's kind of slow i might get caught no we're good that's a house call that's a house call baby that's a house call well that didn't last very long fix madden franchise that's another big thing about this year they did no changes to franchise at the launch of the game so people went on twitter and started hashtagging fix madden franchise because as you scroll through here i mean if you are a person that's played franchise mode at all over the last decade it's been pretty much the same since like madden 13 madden 25 they haven't done a whole lot they added the scenario engine which is very very awful uh where you have these random offensive coordinators say hey we're playing uh miles garrett this week what should we do oh let's uh commit to slowing them down and then like okay i agree we should slow him down like it's very like elementary type stuff and then you'd have a goal oh don't let them get you know get two or more sacks you know and it just that's not the type of stuff that really makes modes like this fun and i mean there's no mini camp the scouting is is bad uh there's just not a lot to do there's no assistant coaches um you know they said they're gonna try to fix that in madden 22 but we'll see now superstar ko is honestly it's a fun mode so you have to pick a base team and you can see each team has like a strength and a weakness then you get to draft a few x factor players for your team uh the the kicker is that the playbook is very limited based on the type of team that you pick so you if you pick a pass heavy team you're not going to have run plays or run defense and it that's kind of what makes the mode a little bit difficult you can see i only have a few formations on offense and within these formations you know you only have maybe three plays maybe six plays per formation so it's very limited of what you can do and each person only gets one drive so you either win it after those two drives or if it's tied you just go to overtime and um you try to win it in the overtime period come on oh he went out of bounds man come on baby come on baby wide open again i mean he's just he's just leaving god i mean we're running free we're gonna have to showboat a little bit on that one let's go baby okay so we have to go for two it's hard to pass when you're this close so we're just gonna run it and uh hope for the best i mean we just got blown up now you know we're running straight up man defense because this is madden 21 and man defense is king this year man defense is so good don't know why but it just bags everything look nothing's open pass rush this is another year of kind of very not skillful defense if you will because it's just so easy to play man coverage and they just they play so well come on come on nope nothing we're all over that there's nothing there there's nothing open you're getting sacked there's nothing open more play one more play and we're done here one more play and we're done here i'm on it i'm on it i'll read it that time i'm on it let's go gg's in the
