Playing A LUCKY BLOCK RACE in Minecraft

hi well then why don't we get started today we're gonna try experimenting with lucky blocks oh take a look at all these lucky blocks here if you break them open either something really good or something really bad will happen depending on the situation you might even get something deadly dangerous deadly yup scary yeah it is well today we'll be using lucky blocks for something really special we're competing in a lucky block race let's go take a look at the course [Music] here you can see the two different lanes that mikey and i are going to be racing on it's pretty long but here's the catch we can only break one lucky block at a time there's our goal over there that's far as for the rules if you die three times that means you're out of the game three strikes and you're out sounds fun but isn't it too easy just don't die three times before the goal not really come look there are a lot of lucky blocks out there for us to get through how many between the two of us there are 100 lucky blocks a [Music] hundred with this many lucky blocks there's almost a 100 guarantee we'll die at some point i think this will be really tough oh well i hope we'll be able to beat it let's try we'll aim to win we each have three lives to try and clear a hundred lucky blocks and make it to the other end without further ado let's start this lucky block race let's do it okay mikey let's get right to it i wonder if anything deadly dangerous is gonna happen i'll go first oh mikey's all ready to go i hope you don't start with bad luck yeah three two one [Music] hey oh you got hay bales yay that's not good luck or bad luck is it [Music] wolves they're so cute or dogs there's a lot of them i'm not waiting it's my turn all right three two one huh watch out mikey i think it's just a bunch of black smoke huh i guess it was nothing then my turn whoa it's spawned items nice well well well some prismarines i got a couple other items too nice i'm not waiting go for it three two one stew that's great good finds oh are these dispensers or droppers nice this is good oh a little parkour let's do it too hard it's definitely difficult seriously you can do it yeah is it that way maybe i think you should go so hard come on i'll go straight good job i get it my turn oh i'm going to there [Music] armor drop some let's keep going three two one huh wow that's pretty cute a baby jj i mean it's cute but does it do anything oops i removed an item huh oh does that mean i can wear it too very nice oh i look good what'd you get mikey one is lucky one is not that probably means that one of the blocks will be something good and the other will be something bad i think you can only pick one leave it to me i feel lucky it's all on you three two one that's not lucky now that's bad luck it looks fishy i should break the other one too it's gonna be guaranteed good luck do it three two one i punched him sorry watch out mikey [Music] whoa hang on oh mikey no way i lost a life i wasn't even in my lane [Music] i think that maybe the zombie wasn't hostile was he the good luck who would have expected that i was too greedy oh well mikey you died once which means you only have two lives left and i still have all three it's my turn let's go flowers oh flowers i guess that was good luck my turn three two one mikey run whoa i don't know what it is but it's pretty i don't know either was that good luck or bad luck oh well my turn bunnies three two one oh nice more armor now i've got full armor whoa awesome my turn huh hmm a chest i wonder what's inside oh that's lucky oh that's so lucky can i have a golden apple too sure thank you i'll just take one all right that's great i've also got some items to share thanks ender pearls those let you warp share the wealth right if you're in danger use one to get away sharing is caring for sure let's work together so i just throw it yeah you'll warp where it lands oh there just like that throw and warp but you'll take a bit of damage so be careful no kidding i'm gonna save my last two okay here i go wait what happened is this a pyramid it looks like i've got three more blocks now should i break all of them here goes whoa it happened again again really what is this about it's fun again whoa this one's enormous this is a big lucky block let's see it might be dangerous so let's run as soon as i flip it okay three two one go whoa fireworks that's so lucky what good fortune wow there's so much valuable loot wonderful is it my turn uh hold on there are still two blocks left you take right i take left huh but they're in your lane ready three two one oh three two one wow oh nice mikey uh take it what really hmm what is it it looks powerful it's a hero sword i think you should have it though what are you serious wow the hero sword this thing's really strong your turn right oh check it out tnt that's good luck all right here i go i'm pretty sure this is the last lucky block in the first section of our race ready it's a bunny mikey hang on that's a killer rabbit it's an enemy mikey we have to run poor bunny whoa close one yeah my turn mikey that rabbit looked cute at first right it's actually super ferocious and could take either of us out in a single hit we took care of it though go ahead okay let's go three two one that's a lot of droppers that means we cleared the zone [Music] i have three lives left mikey you lost one of yours so that means you only have two that's true i feel like we can win so let's do our best should i go now yeah okay what the wow experience that was pretty lucky wasn't it we got so much experience my turn you should probably break your block now mikey huh what's this again what's up with the smoke well those seem pretty common [Music] oh pumpkins lots of pumpkins my turn this again that again this again one block is lucky the other isn't that's kind of scary i'm gonna choose the right one make sure you run away mikey three two one what the heck oh instant death this is so bad hang on use the hero sword hero sword i have an idea i'll eat the enchanted golden apple before i fight it i'll stay back come on hero sword i'm down two lives go get him huh whoa oh i did it that was close oh wait a sec there's more now [Music] that was a super unlucky block mikey yeah stop it you got it jj no i can't really do anything though good job [Music] whoa i fell down jj one sec i'm doing it it's pushing you it's fine i have no weapons leave it to me i got one there's too many i'm gonna blow them all up [Music] okay no way they're so small there's definitely too many of them it might be better to ignore them and move on let's go ahead they're awful just ignore them only fight them if they try and attack you first come on let's go let's go this other one should be good luck right that one's totally a winner break it here i go good luck awesome oh hurry all right run from the slime let's go come on my turn more stew look now i got one make sure you pick a good one what'll happen if i choose the wrong block you need to pick wisely i choose the left i've already lost two of my lives stay back mikey one more life and you're out that means you'll be stuck in observation mode i'll make the right choice three two one jj above you lava nice safe close one too close come out how should i do this i think i'll need a pickaxe to get out tnt tnt could work but only use one block mikey i can't light it take this here use it to activate the tnt okay [Music] am i far enough away yeah that's good ready yep use the tnt to set me free mikey [Music] did i break the pressure plate uh i think i did here's one more [Music] there this is for your own good run mikey oh yeah whoa close one that must have been the unlucky block so the other one should be good i'm gonna break it now sure whoa a sponge sponges are useful i should hang on to it i don't know if we'll actually use it but i'm keeping it for now your turn mikey all done a stick i've already lost two lives so i only have one more chance be careful mikey wow it's pretty but what does it do i'm not sure but i guess it's okay there huh oh a beacon nice wow beautiful okay my turn no way stop it i'm out of here you got this jj there i got it i'm gonna keep moving on dangerous oh i guess it's time for some parkour nice mikey yeah yeah yeah wow this wall is pretty tough for me it felt pretty easy impressive all right go go go go go go how did you do this i can do it again you don't have to done what how ah i fell i'll just leave a block here okay i already cleared it sure all right here we go oh nice uh hang on you can keep this i don't think we'll need it i'll take the axe i'll keep it thank you my turn weather hang on oh no i'm a little help run mikey i only have one life left just get out of here i'm running away what should i do lucky sword uh keep running look out let's try to avoid it and keep going there's no way we'll be able to beat a wither right now come on go go go break one okay a chest oh wow a pickaxe hang on to it mikey and grab those golden apples too the wither i think it decided to chase those bats instead of us i got a lucky bow with no arrows can you still fire it nope [Music] you can go ahead mikey oh fish hang on wait a sec i found a hero's potion nice the hero's potion is the ultimate potion i'll keep this in case we need it down the road we can use it if we get in a pinch yeah okay yeah that's a lot of stuff too much i'm switching oh did you find all that iron whoa sweet there okay i'm still wearing my leather armor from the start of the game oh well whatever here i go whoa again i don't want to choose the wrong block uh careful mikey you're really close right you only have one more life a chest a pickaxe pickaxes are useful so i'll keep mine ah [Music] another chest awesome [Music] a helmet okay so now i have a helmet on cool nice final block okay let's go oh no mikey run away are you kidding that was close yikes scary how much health do you have two hearts eat one of these enchanted golden apples take my hero's potion too drink it if you need it thank you can i drink it now go for it down the hatch awesome you're invisible it's my turn now what's that ah wow that's a lot of chickens go mikey all right oh a hero villager what's that he trades swords for diamonds i already have a hero sword take these and buy one for yourself but i just got this sword jj oh right the lucky sword here we go oh check it out you can come take one snack time sweet yummy yes all right what the i'm okay nothing happened mikey you're not invisible anymore no he went from invisible to regular old mic okay let's go oh no jj mikey you have to save me use this oh please mikey wait i forgot all this time i had ender pearls in my inventory so i could just warp to safety otherwise it would have drowned if that happens to you mikey use your ender pearls okay [Music] oh no mikey you're under pearls up here aim for the top throw the ender pearl throwing whoa you made it that was close i can't tell if i'm on fire or just imagining it you're definitely on fire get in the water oh yeah you barely avoided certain death that was incredible how's your health i only have four hearts left use a recovery item if you come across any three two one is that a witch take her down [Music] hold on get it take that yes i did it your turn now right yeah oh a stick one more a hero villager nice i want this what is it i got a hero's helmet a hero's helmet you take it no you need it you only have one life left it's so strong yeah protection fire protection respiration nice you hang on to it mikey respiration can be super useful sometimes okay ready to go we're so close to the goal but i only have one life left the goal i think we can finish this thing careful oh wow awesome ah a golden apple eat it mikey oh cool thanks time to eat yeah okay i wanna win what's next here huh whoa oh again what'll this hero villager give us a shovel i might as well buy it off him then but i don't know how or why we're gonna need it let's go oh food i think i'm good huh oh there's a monster run get it yes nice i'm too nervous to fight there i'm being attacked whoa that was a close one we're okay come on it's just a bunch of regular items three two one oh it's a hero's fishing rod what let's see if we can catch something mikey i'll just block this off do you think it'll work can we really fish here [Music] huh hmm i caught a raw fish an ordinary fish there parkour's not my thing i'm finished i cleared it let's move out oh even more items popped out i already have enough iron tools my turn whoa luckiest block it's so cute oh this guy's my little lucky charm baby mikey turtle i feel like i can actually win this thing now it's probably a sign to clear the level since we're so close to the goal let's do this no stopping wait is that horse armor let's see oh run mikey run what was that quick hey look out keep breaking blocks let's go while it attacks the villagers ignore it the hero villagers check it out well you should run away mikey all right toss a coin and make a wish [Music] [Music] are you okay the wither is on me run away oh no whoa oh i need to hurry and catch up to mikey the wither took out mikey that means i'm out right mikey observation mode yeah you're in observation mode it's fine i can still finish for the both of us all right i have two lives left so if i try my best i think i'll be able to win this for me and mikey i'm gonna retrieve the iron equipment whoa run away oh it's all your stuff i've got your items let's go hang on oh i gotta run go go one sec good luck let's see [Music] wait what hang on what i drank a potion that turned out to be poison i drank it without even checking uh i still need to do something about that weather you can do it i'll try no hey jj and i got it come on [Music] you got it whoa the wizard nice dog why isn't it breaking through the bars looks like it can't break iron i'm making a temporary barrier i think i'm hidden from it [Music] the wither can't find you i'm gonna equip armor while i'm undetected oh a potion of leaping i'm gonna drink the potion of leaping right away nope [Music] now i can jump way higher next i'm gonna drink the fire resistance potion and the wither won't be able to hurt me one more section okay [Music] this look out it's coming i made it i'm safe nice now that i'm past the fence i don't think the wither can actually attack me anymore but i only have two hearts left huh good luck i gotta keep going more ender pearls ah don't need him oh a potion nice [Music] oh if something attacks i can beat it with this potion it's the most powerful kind out there oh neat a puppy you can keep the poppy mikey i'll leave it there oh thank you okay ready oh oh oh oh whoa that's incredible i found 10 lucky potions they make super lucky things happen get ready i'm going to try them out look wow wow you're invisible jj no the wither is attacking us again quick look out i have to beat this thing two [Music] last one whoa we did it we made it to the last lucky block as long as i don't die here which i probably won't then we win the game let's finish it now what's in there let's go oh that was amazing it was pumpkin pie delicious [Music] [Applause] all right we're done i want to go again come on i want to reach the end too that was really fun yeah we'll have lots more chances for you to finish too mikey you're amazing jj what a win we both would have made it if it weren't for that wither oh well oh well in the end i just barely finished the lucky block race next time let's do it together i broke over a hundred lucky blocks with only three lives and made it to the very end hopefully you had as much fun watching this as me and
