just how far are you willing to go to achieve the look you've always wanted well in the case of Anthony lafredo there seems to be no limit No Limit there we're talking about the black alien project I'm a real plastic surgeon we're gonna break it down what has he had done on this video today from an early age Anthony and fascinated with mutations and transforming the human body he for bodybuilding had a lot to do with that because let's be real body dysmorphia is very much alive and haunts a lot of people it is a far cry from being into bodybuilding and weightlifting to becoming the black alien though how did he get there what did he have done it's a lot and believe it or not no plastic surgeons performed any I think of his procedures and if they did they should lose their license he realized he wasn't living life the way he wanted to so he decided to stop everything at the age of 24 years old he ended up tattooing his eyeballs black and split his tongue and tattooed it green okay we are starting with eyeball tattooing so this is where you take a needle and you inject a die into the sclera of the eye bomb the sclera is the white part of the eyeball now it's not quite as simple as that you have the outer covering which is a conjunctiva and you gotta take that needle and inject it right onto the sclera that white covering if you go too deep and if you go below the sclera then you get into the actual vitreous of the eyeball if you inject ink into the vitreous now you can have some major problems so you have to be very careful where you inject it otherwise the patient can actually go blind now on top of that there are absolutely no dies that have ever been FDA approved for this purpose for for literally injecting into the eyeball nothing FDA approved for that and in certain States this is actually illegal it's banned in Oklahoma Indiana and Washington State in addition to this you need many injections to do it you can't just inject one so you got injected all over to get that dye all around and the people who are performing these injections are not ophthalmologists they're not eye doctors these are basically body modification experts who are doing it these are essentially lay people and you're allowing them to take a needle to your eyeball now it also had his tongue split and that's not nearly as dangerous as having your eyeball injected they're really interesting thing about having a split tongue is that that muscle that makes up the tongue if you split it can cause the tongue to move kind of separately it's actually pretty cool when you see it then proceeded to surgically remove his ears makes sense right I mean I mean aliens don't have ears so what happens if you surgically amputate or you remove your ears can you still hear well the answer is you can still hear hey what's going on but the ear and the actual shape of the ear is very important in determining echolocation of where sounds are coming from now if the sound comes from your right or your left you'll still be able to basically tell where that sound is coming from but if you have a sound coming from above or below studies show that when you lose the actual outer portion of your ear it's really hard to tell if that sound is coming from above or below so let's just say that you're minding your own business you're walking down the sidewalk on a beautiful day and you've had your ears removed in the past and somebody drops a piano from an upper story and it starts falling towards you you may hear those keys kind of jiggling and you may look down and think that it's coming from below you and then it hits your head and kills you he also got dermal implants in his head cheeks and eyebrows dermal implants are typically made of solid silicone they're actually the same thing that buttock implants are technically made out of and a similar substance as the outer kind of rubber shell of a breast implant as well there are two big risks of placing dermal implants the first is infection because it is a foreign body and the second is that that implant can actually erode through the skin protrude through the skin and then you have to remove it his most extreme modification couldn't even be done in his country because it was illegal instead he had to travel to Spain to have his nose removed that's right his nose now the portion of his nose that appears to have been removed is the cartilaginous portion of the nose the nose is composed of the nasal bone which is up top and then the cartilage which composes the tip of the nose and the actual nostril and it looks like he underwent a rhinotomy which is the medical term for removal or basically amputation of the end of your nose so does a rhinotomy removal that portion of the nose actually affect then your health in any way well the nose itself and the nose hairs are used to filter the air that comes down into your lungs essentially and it not only filters bad things like dirt and pollutants from the air but it also helps to humidify the air before it enters your pharynx and then eventually your lungs so it's theoretically possible that by removing his nose that air itself is not filtered it's not humidified he could have an increased risk of sore throats of dry throats of coughs even potentially of pneumonia and bronchitis as if removing a part of his nose wasn't enough he also removed his top lip while black aliens said that ever since you removed the top of his lip he has had trouble speaking I hope that's not his voice so this removal of kind of that upper portion of the lip is not quite as big a deal let's say as injecting dye into your eyeball I have performed cleft lip repairs in hundreds and hundreds of people throughout my training and yes removal of portion of your lip may impact how you talk and your speech but it's not going to be a major functional impairment like let's say removing your ears and your nose his speaking troubles don't seem to affect him or make him want to stop his project in fact despite all of that he says he's proud of his look and his philosophy is everyone has their own Freedom mine is to have no limits in the mutation of my body okay I don't know about you but if I was on a subway and he was sitting across from me doing that I would be pretty freaked out now I tell you I've actually met a number of people who've been into body modification and you know you look at somebody like black alien project here and you think oh my gosh you know he's crazy and he's probably a mean guy and I'd be afraid to meet him in reality a lot of the people I met and I think pretty much everybody I've met who've undergone body modification procedures are really sweet nice people and just the fact that they look different doesn't mean that they are not a good person or a kind person or a friendly person taking one glance at him you might assume he's achieved the look he's always wanted but that's simply false because according to him he's only 27 complete only 27 completed like what else is he gonna do I'm definitely interested because I don't know scientifically and medically if there's that much more left to get done recently he modified himself some more posting about it a picture of him which had a chunk of his bottom lip removed and a caption that said we continue we advance Body Evolution open mouth okay if you have a portion of your upper lip removed that may impact your ability to speak you may get a lisp out of it that type of thing but if you remove a portion of your lower lip my main worry is going to be drooling it's going to be dry mouth it's going to be food and drink coming out of your mouth if that's not repaired so I'm not a fan of this one I I don't get this one I mean it's up to him it's his body but yeah I don't get this one however the most shocking project he has lined up in 2021 is the removal of half of his hand so my question for you you're watching this is if you had to get rid of one finger of your hand what would you get rid of and stay let's say effective in what you're doing or keep a grip strength okay because able to grab like a hammer and stuff you would think that you would get rid of your pinky but that actually is not the best finger to get rid of if you had to get rid of one finger of your hand the finger to get rid of is the index finger believe it or not if you get rid of the index finger the middle finger will pretty much take over for the index finger so if I had to pick one finger to get rid of it's the index finger if I had to pick two fingers to get rid of which it sounds like he's getting rid of two then I would probably pick the index and then the ring finger and the reason why is because you want to retain grip strength I mean pincer strength you can always do with your middle finger and your thumb but it's grip strength of holding on to something that's important and we do know that the most important finger for grip strength is your middle finger followed by your ring finger followed by your little finger but if you get rid of the little finger and the index finger My worry is that you just don't have a wide enough grip to grab anything so I would say index and ring I would remove keeping the middle and the and the small one and the absolute cherry on top is wanting to remove his skin and replace it with metal what do you think he's Iron Man or something this is impossible you cannot remove your skin and replace it with metal I'd love to see how they try to do something like this but that just doesn't that's not going to fly you might think that looking like that has hindered his love life but according to him he has no problem attracting women and just judging based off the comments on his Instagram he has some really strong supporters now I can't speak for the black aliens personality I mean he may be a super nice guy but I do think that Fame is very intoxicating I mean there are a reason why guys who are not attractive and they're famous get tons of women I mean look at Ryan Gosling for God's sakes his statement about his journey is very clear he says he's never gonna regret doing these extreme modifications but that his only regret would be that he didn't do them and at the end of the day Anthony's happy doing what he's doing shouldn't that be all that really matter that really is all that matters it's his body and if he wants to alter it in these ways then you know what more power to him it's not something that I would recommend especially with some of the medical issues that can happen with what he's doing and I'm very interested to see did he go through with getting part of his hand removed now he's not the only one who's undergone extreme body modification
