I went on a school trip to Pompeii when I was about 14. When we got to the auditorium my teacher did his schtick, telling us about the battles, the crowds and all that. I must have had this awestruck look on my face, because he came up to me and remarked "yes, isn't it wonderful! So much history in this place." To which I stammered back, "totally. I can't believe I'm standing in the exact place Pink Floyd played! It's amazing!"

Did you know Andrew Lloyd Webber stole the opening riff for Phantom of the Opera from Echoes. Waters also didn't bother suing as he had more important things to do and more kickass songs to write.
