Pictory VS Invideo 2024 - Which Is Better?

victory verses and video hey guys welcome back to the YouTube channel today we will be taking a look at both of these video creation softwares how they stack up against each other and which one is better so let's get into it now first off we're going to begin with creating our accounts on both of these you can get started with a free trial on both of these that I have used these previously they are rather easy to get started with for both of these Platforms in terms of usability and both of these are super easy to you know set up like so so you can just sign up like this answer a couple of questions like so and you can go on ahead and continue on like that over here on Victory you can proceed with a specific kind of feature and this is where the main differences start so if I get started with Victory one of their most popular features is definitely scriptive video so you can start typing your script and it will give you a video that is super super fitting of your script so you can easily create high quality videos simply by getting started with Pick 3 script to video feature you can also do article to video edit videos using text and also visuals to videos so these kinds of things can enable you to add subtitles you can create listical videos coaching videos and with the use of AI you can simply just create you know use AI voices or your own voiceovers to make video and uh you know a URL can be used or you can just click on proceed over here and you can just paste whatever thing you might want and it's going to create a video in accordance so so I'm just taking a sample article over here and I'm just going to click on copy and then I will click on paste from clipboard allow so so now I'm just going to click on proceed over here and you can see you have multiple different templates that you can get started with so it in this way you can create your own little uh video Simply by entering your text so let's say that I want to get started with this one I can click on select and then you can choose the aspect ratio you're creating your video for and that is it so the ability to convert the article into video is you know super super effective and essential and it's amazing to be able to do so and pictory will go on ahead and create it for you it will make a video about the article you can also do this with online articles as well as your own articles that you have written and the AI will try to match the video samples as well you can also change you know background colors and customize the video so once you have your scene one scene two Scene Three this will go on ahead and give you some samples and after that you can go on head and you know add your own stuff so if I want to change the video in the back for this specific scene I can change that as well but for a simple video it does very well and it fits the clip very nicely and you can also highlight certain items you can click on ADD voiceover and record or upload a voiceover you also have settings where you can click on Loop video so I don't want to Loop it you can choose to hide text if you want you can do visual zoom and pens as well or if you want full video images so on and after that you all you have to do is click on generate over here and you can create a video a spreadsheet of social video posts or social video posts for a HootSuite as well then you also have your visuals if you want to change anything on the left side of your screen you also have elements you can add audio you can add text you can add Styles and brandings that you can apply so Victory is super efficient to use then if you go into your my project section over here you can simply see all the previous projects you've created you can click on create project and begin working on a new project so for holisticals coaching videos and step-by-step guides it's scripted video then you also have article to video then you also have edit videos using text so input videos from various sources then you also have visuals to video so using pre-existing video clips you can just edit those and begin creating from those so let's say I want to edit this family video that I had and you can click on upload so I'm just going to continue on over here so you can use a video link from YouTube or upload your own videos as well now if we move on to in video so in video also has a text to video format but it was launched later on so pick 3 is a little more popular and I do find that both of these do it pretty efficiently so let's say I want to create a text to video and let's say I want to do it in a similar style like this one I'm going to click on use template and then I will go on ahead and add my little text section so I'm just going to wait for that like this and then I'm going to click on create scenes like so and now it is setting up our project so we're just going to wait a couple of seconds so we can do like a little bit of a comparison to see how they are going to stack up against each other because we just saw how pictory created our video and I have used the same article on in video as well so we can get a better estimate so it's generating thumbnails as well and now we're just going to wait a couple of more seconds and after that I'm going to be comparing the prices on both of these platforms because that can be a distinctive measure on what kind of platform you want to select so so you can see they've added background music and this is their first their media like so and this is the second clip this is third one this is the fourth one like so so you can see I actually think I liked it more on Victory because it fit a little better but in video has you know some of the things just don't feel as fitting to me as they were on Victory so in terms of just text and video it is definitely understandable why Pick 3 is more popular but you also can see that they have stock media and multiple different templates available on in video and you also can click on the basic editor you can click on landscape and you can go on ahead and upload your own media files like this one and begin editing them so now we're going to move on ahead to pricing on both of these platforms and for victory you can see you have a free trial and if we build this annually I'm going to do both comparisons for annual pricing but if we take a look at Victory it starts at 19 per user per month where you can create 30 videos and create text to video projects of upwards of 10 minutes as well as 10 hours of video transcription so you can add you know subtitles to your videos as well and you can also edit existing videos that are up to one hours long and you also get access to 5 000 music tracks now if I was to compare this with the lowest plan on in video it starts at zero dollars so that's like a basic difference and if you're just someone that is looking to have some fun with video editing and you don't want to do this professionally you can definitely get started with in video because they have a free version and you can create a video that is upwards of 40 minutes long you have three million standard media library and automated text to speech so if you don't want to pay anything then you definitely are going to be checking out in video but if you want to do it professionally I definitely do recommend the standard version of Pick 3 but if we move on to the business version of in video they have no watermark videos 60hd video exports 10 eye stock media as well it's running at 30 per month and the premium version of Pick 3 starts at 39 per month where you also have 60 videos so it's pretty comparable but in terms of just general professional video editing I recommend that if you want to do this for fun go ahead and do it within video but if you want to just create some basic videos and have basic exports and you don't need more than 30 videos a month definitely go with the standard version of Pick 3 in terms of General usability ease or efficiency of the platform of the basic features I definitely do recommend Pick 3 for text or video features but if you just want to do online editing of your videos then I think in video is pretty good for you
