okay how's it going guys um I have a couple of kids home from school today because of the weather so I am going to make them pepperoni bread for lunch so I figured I would turn on the camera and show you guys my process of making this I've made this quite a few times now and it's a huge hit here kids just love it my husband loves it and it's really easy so I figured I would share the recipe with you guys maybe somebody might want to make it over the weekend you know so okay so pepperoni bread we're gonna start with 2 cups of warm water okay to add 3 tablespoons and we're going to do two teaspoons of salt and then it's five tops and this is all-purpose flour and I'm guessing you could probably use the bread flour too if you wanted but I find it works just as good here with the all-purpose I find that the bread flour is really thick so I don't know I would stick with all-purpose but now this is how I make my pizza - and I've been making a lot of pizza just last night any barbecue chicken pizza with my own homemade barbecue sauce this will make two pizzas or it makes one huge pepperoni bread so if you're interested in making pizza I use the same recipe to make pizza wet so alright I'm gonna go ahead and get my dough hook on here and lift this up and I'm just gonna turn it on slightly so it doesn't flash I found a flash guard on Craigslist somebody got it as a gift and it doesn't fit her mixer so she's selling is brand-new for 15 bucks so my husband's gonna picking it up today for me you're out on things like that you can get really good deals so I'm gonna let this get all mixed in and once I see there's always well incorporated I'll set my timer and let it move for five minutes once I notice that it's all off of the side of the bowl and it's starting to make a ball that's when I start so just fold and tuck under just like I did with my bread rolls now sometimes if I'm making two pizzas I'll separate it now but lately I've just let it rise in one big ball and then I separate it out after it Rises but with the pepperoni bread you can just keep it all one okay then when you get it in a nice bowl a little ball just pop it in your bowl spray it and then I'm going to top it with a little plastic vomit see that and then this I'm going to set on top of the stove because I'm gonna preheat my oven to 400 degrees and this has been a rice for a half-hour so I'm going to go ahead and set my timer I need a new timer thing is sitting feet up here alright so we're gonna set that there you are alright so we're gonna wait 30 minutes we're gonna let this rise I'm going to let my oven preheat to 400 and then we'll come back and we will make the pepperoni bread and then we'll bake it sorry I'll be back guys okay guys we are back and our Joe has risen it's been three minutes take off the bonnet and then we're going to gently deflate the dough here packets out see those big air bubbles - okay once you've done that your dough is nice and deflate it you can just scrap a little bit tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bit I've learned the hard way don't overdo the flowering hug your surface just a little bit just so it doesn't stick too bad and go ahead and roll it out of your bowl and then I go out just kind of stretch it out the second gets out all those air people's okay now what I do is I lightly flour my rolling pin Late Late Late and then I'll go ahead and just roll this out to make sure you give yourself enough room I never seem to ever give myself enough and we're just gonna basically pull this out time awake in a nice square you know I have to rule it out is she's really good I am not really good I'm still newbie so why choose to use sometimes I just over here knocking into you guys too much that doesn't have to be perfect mine never is perfect just kind of want a general shape is pretty forgiving so it's good for beginners like me who are kind of you know can be intimidated when first starting of course I've made this quite a few times now so my intimidation level it's gone down quite a bit but I wish you could see how big I have that goes all the way down there so it's pretty good size it's gonna be a pretty good sized hole now why do is I add a little bit of egg white which seems to help and I don't have a baster even have a baster I'm just now getting mine this together of things that I need to buy things that I notice I need so nothing stir up nobody call it like that she spray butter and stuff with right there those brushes there you go her brush and this just helps me I've noticed with my cheese sticking you don't need a fixed coat just to makes thin coat hold you and that's one big white but it's one big weight that I just simply report and we found our mozzarella cheese I'd make big bag here this baguette hams you don't want to do it too close to the edges because then your teeth will bloat out so I don't know enjoy it to the side and it doesn't have to be too thick because we're going to add a little bit more too now I have also made this with onions and green pepper in it my kids are not a fan of that however and if you have little kids in your house they might not be a fan be there but definitely for me and Matt I would definitely do you mushrooms and olives yellow peppers and then I'm gonna go ahead and use just a full bag I don't know a whole bag this pepperoni bread is supposed to have a lot of pepperoni now we're going to leave some of the edges clear because that's one we put the world together we want the bread stick I just go ahead and layer it all on and excuse me for sniffling my 10 year old loved me so much he thought he would share his head cold with me that he brought home from school that's one nice thing about the summer is like my kids are never sick because I'm just not around all those germs they pick up at school so nice Sage's waits for spring to come open up the windows air up the coast anyway this is kind of a boring part so wait TQ a bag and the hacks to do this unless you don't want that much pepperoni but it's pepperoni bread right now it seems club you can buy a box of pepperoni it comes with three bags inside and it's cheaper than you know buying them individually but if you don't make as much pepperoni pick two pizzas as I do I know you can pick up bags of pepperoni like this at Walmart for like 2 bucks so just shop around move around and see what is your last name here so learn a couple these little empty spots and no not too much I hate it when it's all let's even though it doesn't look like you don't have a lot of cheese once it's rolled into one bread loaf it's a lot of joy and now what I'm going to use I'm gonna use my pizza spice um I don't have much of it left now I gotta make more if you guys are interested in this um I can post the mail just do that anyway I'll post the recipe for my pizza spice it's basically any of the spices that you love garlic onions sweet basil oregano thyme rosemary red pepper flakes salt pepper anything it like and use it as a pizza sprinkling so there you have it there it all is so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna step back over here I love the side line because I can kind of work on both ways here and what you're going to do is you're going to start let's see if I can get you to see those real good you know start with a really tight roll the tighter the butter with this because you want a really nice spiral when you cut into it you're just gonna roll this tight and it doesn't really matter if it's messy or gets messy so don't worry about that just roll it tight some on the white cheese back over here it's wrong you met and then when you're about to get to the edge like I am you see a little bit of pepperoni just gonna take this bottom part if you guys can see that take this bottom part and go ahead and just fold it up and over and just like a loaf of bread you're just gonna pinch the seam together just make it one piece then just like I did with my dinner roll there take the edge and you poke it and you're just gonna bring the edge up and you're gonna pinch it you'll together see this hook the hole okay now let me get my let me get my lips right Amy back up here hey we might read lips because they're so used until I learned but the more use they are actually the better that they cook up your food so now I am not ashamed of my overly used pans anymore so what you're gonna do is you're gonna just gently place your roll on the pan well this is going to be huge you can make two rolls if you want but my kids really like the look of having a huge role to cut into and I think just if you're gonna make this for a party or like you know get together I know my family used to have like game nights and stuff like that so if you were gonna do that this would be a great thing to take so the thing is monstrous I mean that's no doubt so what we're going to do now is we're going to take the rest of that beaten egg I'm just going to you just rub it in the top here we're gonna add more pizza seasoning it's a perma chante cheese to the top so watch my fans I'm gonna go ahead and just sprinkle I need a sprinkle to our I have one actually I used up the rest of my basil on this and I'm trying to get the sticker off of it but it's got a nice it's just like last year with a sprinkler on it so I'm going to put my pizza seasoning than that once I can get that sticker off but everybody loves the pizza seasoning it's almost like that seasoning that you get I don't know what Papa John's or pepper Romano's we can definitely use Parmesan cheese from last night's me barbecue chicken punished barbecue chicken pizzas last night so just a little bit of cheese left on that regardless the last thing that we need to do is put some vents in it so just stick nice sometimes the cheese will ooze out if I over stuff it so another reason why not to over stuff it so there you have it that's it you guys can see it so this is going to go in a 400 degree oven for about a half hour it's 20 minutes half hour just keep taking a look at it once it's nice golden brown and you can see that the cheese is all melted inside I'm peeking out of the slits that you made it's ready but for my oven it's about a half hour so alright I will be back and show you guys what this looks like alright guys there it is right out of the oven let's divvy it kind of oozed off inside here a little bit you guys can see that but it's all good alright so I'm going to let this rest again this took 30 minutes in my oven but I'm gonna let this rest and come back and cut into it in about 5-10 minutes and I'm sure the kids will be buzzing around me by then alright guys I'll be right back from this nap perfect timing so he can eat I'm just going to fast and I'm just using a serrated bread knife cut into that and the first piece never really is stuff that much but you can see it there and you see it's still smoking even though it's that out for about 10 minutes and cut a nice place here and the kids don't wanna push too hard but at the bottom they'll be really crispy so there's another piece let's see if I can look this up here actually let me put one more for me okay and show you inside my pepperoni bread doesn't that look good now no stops me conserves sauce if you want as a side for dipping but you don't have to you yeah you can just cut this up and serve it on a on a platter if your m friends over or whatever perfect for football games and stuff like that my husband absolutely loves this pepperoni bread so do the teens really all the boys do put me my teenagers especially loved it so it's a really simple I mean it's not that hard so yeah you guys give it a try and let me know comment below and let me know how you like it so alright pepperoni bread enjoy guys
