one I'm accustomed to being from there to here not preaching as hard as I did this morning so God soaked as I did and was not too prepared not knowing it would have gone that way what gonna look too bad the Lord is good we we thank you all for being a part of this service specially designed as others are to bless the body of Christ to strengthen God's people to rescue the perishing to care for the dying take care of that lease and to ensure that the gospel is preached we know that those who are standing here this morning might be facing your own unique sets of challenges what God is able I pray for you now that the Holy Spirit will do what he needs to do to ensure that you walk in victory that is God's planned for us that they will tries to counter all of that what God is able to see us through all odds with your neighbor please as I pray a special prayer blessing upon you for you and you and yours in the name of Jesus or God we thank you because we know that we are being urged whenever we stand in your name you tell us that when the righteous speaketh the Lord hardens and a book of remembrance is open we thank you for all your people standing in this Upper Room sanctuary and for those in the other audiences viewing watching listening browsing we come on their behalf right now I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you'll be pleased and I know you will to minister to the needs of your people I pray that those who are struggling in particular ways right now will find the strength that you give to fight the battle and win in the name of Jesus I pray for those who stand in uncertainty as it relates to matters pending decisions to be made that you Lord will give them your wisdom so that they will make the right decision in the name of Jesus I pray for those who are sick in body that our Great Physician will stretch out your nails guard hand and you will heal your people from all manner of sicknesses and all manner of diseases you promise to heal so god we ask you to do so in the name of Jesus we pray for those that are up against principalities and powers the rulers of this darkness of the spiritual wickedness Oh God Almighty APRI that you touch them give them the victory we pray in the name of Jesus I pray for their homes appear for their families I play pray for their places of business their work their school I pray that all and in all you shall magnify yourself in them through them and for them in the name of Jesus let this week Oh God commencing on this second day of June God let it be a glorious week let me be a week that surprised the Saints surprised I mean that you will do marvelous things for them Oh God surprise them the doors that have been closed for so long here you sha Maru SATA will swing wide open hallelujah surprise them that opportunities that have evaded them oh my god who will step into them in done all glory to God hallelujah in the name of Jesus surprise them Lord that Pryor's seem to have been unanswered Isaiah in chapter 6 anybody remember how we moved up on him or you don't remember that particular text let me start it you'll remember it in the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting eye upon the throne lift it up yes he was his train filled the temple eyes I saw the glory of God and when he saw God's glory he cried woe is me for I am undone a man of unclean lips are dwelling amid some such a people then what happened an angel took a live coal from the altar placed it on Isaiah's tongue and they say you're no more woe and sinful I have cleansed you now go speak to my people oh I feel this in my soul you are no longer sinful and full of woes your iniquities have been purged whom shall I send and who will go for us what do you say whom shall I send ask the Lord and who will go for us what do you say what do you raise your right hand and say what do you raise both hands and say that's it and finally with announcements that's what we are doing really the margin Richmond ministry will be hosting couples conference for saved and unsaved couples under the theme empowerment for engagement for life you want to be part of that talk to me listen II thought talk to Minister messages from each speaker consecutively I have spoken here more than anybody else others have spoken less than me and over time I'll be speaking here more than anybody else and we are thankful for all those who have ministered and you have been blessed nobody's saying anything down here so Minister Christopher Kirby spoke on last Sunday well by default I had to miss out one Sunday because I went over to Spanish town to preach there at Church of God of Prophecy in the evening preached there and I thought I would take that break and let someone else minister so we are thankful for him and for the word that he brought which would have resonated with all who were present and we trust that you will continue to muse on that word he stands ready again today to deliver the same word but another word the same word from the same book but another emphasis and I know God is going to minister to you let me thank exhort to carry and beg for Thomas for the work she has been doing in this faint and to them that have no mighty increases strength even the youth shall feel and be weary and the young men shall utterly fly but Veda wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings as Eagles they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint tell your neighbor fly turn to your neighbor and say fly glory be to God that is the theme for this afternoon please take your seats and while you take your seats please be prayerful for me because I find myself in an unusual situation and circumstance I've never been in somebody wondering what is he talking about 43 years ago today a certain young lady went into labor and at 3:00 a.m. on a Wednesday morning June 2nd I popped out [Music] I really didn't want to be here because I was comfortable where I was and I didn't know what to expect but to God be the glory there's been many trials many tribulations many ups and downs many hills and valleys this morning my Sunday school class said welcome the birthday boy as I know after 43 years I think I'm the birthday man so I thank God for life and I found that to be celebrating usually and this kind of day I would do what I need to do and go lock myself away from people and give God thanks and keep to myself but unfortunately have to be partying with you today is that okay all right and Jesus Christ is going to be the MC and the Holy Ghost and we're going to have a good time so the theme that we are having this morning is one simple three-letter word fly we're not talking about that insect that makes our lives a little miserable no and then that shows up unexpectedly with talking about fly as it relates to the adjective and this message that we are going to be looking at this morning the aim is very simple it's to encourage believers to move from a lot struggling position that we spoke about last weekend we talked about pressing and to move to higher heights in God and in life and deeper depths in God and in lives after you have pressed and you're unsure your Trouper your leap over your wall and you have survived and you have victory as I said to you last week there's always more dimensions in God anybody following me so far but I want to look at a few words from the text that we have just read before we jump into the excitement Isaiah said they that wait specifically upon the Lord they shall renew what their strength and they shall then do what mount up with wings as what good I'm going to talk a little bit about the eagle because he could have said you're mount up like the pigeon or the chicken and everybody know that the people chicken don't fly too far and he could have chosen many other birds but he specifically chose the Eagle the first word I want to look at is the word weird as a child of God if you have been seeing long enough there are some words that we really unsure lido like to hear are we not too comfortable are too kosher wings we're not to like the words patients with not to like the words long-suffering some of us don't like the words temperance but for those of us who seek the Lord lung and heart we really don't like the word weird and living in a micro we have kind of society global society where and as a matter of we because we like things don't quick and fast an instant your puppet in your press a button and in a few moments it is out you can go to the supermarket and buy a frozen dinner your puppeteer and in a few minutes is oh you'd have to spend hours trying to get it done and so when we approach God at times and we bring our petition we often really and surely do not like to it to where it means to stay in a particular State our position for a indefinite or set period of time to wait also mean to delay one's action for a particular specific or indefinite amount of time I like to set the people from time to time when it comes to seeking God and getting answers to prayer God is never in a hurry it doesn't matter what kind of horror you are in no matter what your emergency and here's God is never in a hurry and when God tonight is going to deliver you soon soon is relative it makes no sense you check your time God will do things on his own time still also means to delay until arrival and oftentimes for those of us who after wait people specifically the men who after wait under women they keep you always with you know when it's their time to wait they never wait but when it comes to God whether you like it or not the best thing to do is wait the next thing I want to look at is renew renewal means that there was once something it is no more or depreciated and needs to be replenished just like when you drive your car and the gas runs old you need to replenish you need to refill so you can go again and I want to pause here to encourage somebody that maybe you might below whatever the reason whatever the circumstance whatever the situation but because you are low because you are don't it does not mean that you are out I challenge you if you wait upon the Lord as the word that we just read said eventually God is going to show up is going to refill and renew and refresh you and the way mount up is at Amen I don't want to get ahead of myself renew also means to repeat and for some of us we like things different all the time we don't like when things stay one place for too long but in this world life is full of cycles next week at this time it will be Sunday again next year at this time it will be June again it doesn't matter how you think or feel about it there are things that will always repeat tomorrow at this time the Sun will still be in the sky weather are not the clothes are darker sky is clear there are some things that are going to happen no matter what and if you trust God and wait upon him I challenge you that you will be renewed I want to talk also about strength the quality or state of being physically strong God provides to a Salvation a holistic ministry from time to time we might find ourselves as tripartite beans in some areas and strong in other areas but is the will of God for us to be strong in all areas beginning with the spirit it doesn't matter if you are physically spiritually or otherwise we God is able to if you will renew your strength anybody following so far all right so we're going to talk about flying today and I want to define it a little bit what does it mean to fly fly means to increase in altitude and to move through the air simple definition you increase in altitude or you move through the year for those of us who are fast drivers oftentimes your speed at which you travel on the road can also be described as flying it's a term that is also known to move in quickly and swiftly above normal or average speed all right but what I want to focus on today is the aspect of it that involves altitude now for those of us who have ever traveled when you go to the airport and you board the aeroplane it doesn't just throw itself into the ear right away there is a procedure there's a process and for some of us I'm not sure who you are what you might just be boarded and that aeroplane and while you are boarded that's the time while you are waiting you are waiting for other persons on your flight to be boarded you are waited for the engineers to do their final check because they are refueling the aircraft we spoke about renewing and refueling they are waiting for all the necessary protocols to be done and then the aeroplane pulls out of the terminal but when it pulls out of the terminal that is barely the beginning of the journey the airplane taxis its way down the runway slowly and cautiously and it moves out of the range of all objects that might interfere with what is going to happen next after it is in position and the watchtower gives the clearance it is then that the pilot begins to move that aeroplane forward gradually increase in the speed until it gets to that maximum speed for which it is supposed to take off however there are some things that is important that that pilot needs to get done it needs to ensure that when they get to the particular speeder before they do the flaps are turning to the right position and after achieving that speed it is then that that aeroplane begins to rise no we have dealt with the things that are within our scope and our atmosphere now we want to deal with things that take place at a higher altitude and this is where I will bring the Eagle into question the Eagle is a very special bird for many reasons it has a lifestyle a life cycle that loops and goes through various stages one of the unique things about the Eagle is that it builds its nest at very high altitude where no predator or anyone else other than Eagles can reach it they care for their young in very special and specific ways but I want to bring your attention to some of the more intricate things about the eagle the eagle flies are the highest altitude for any other bird the eagle flies so high that it is able to fly above storms and for some of us as believers we're accustomed to living our life for God in the storm whenever the storms come it always affects us on the ground we have that chicken kind of mentality and when we mount up and try to fly we only last a few seconds and that is it and we rest and we flutter again and that is it the chicken don't know when the storm is coming but the Eagle sees it afar off when the things about the Eagles that it's able to glide for miles at a time even without the flapping of its wings and while chaos and Mammon turmoil is happening beneath in the storm the eagle is there sworen above that storm jesus said when the storms of life come he did not say if or maybe he says they are going to come if you do not get to that place where you get to that eager type of state in life you will always have to weather this storm you will have to go through those winds you will have to go through those rains and you will have to suffer as others do many animals know how to hide themselves but the Eagle has no need to hide the Eagle is not worried about turbulence the he is not worried about really the eagle is not worried about debris and anything flying around because he is soaring above this storm is there anybody here who wants to achieve that status in God to be anybody desire to get to that height to get to that altitude now when the storms are coming you're spotted miles away and Rosemont op just mount up with wings as he goes it doesn't matter what is going on below you're above and you are safe trails are taking place what you are seeing tribulation of what what you are seeing people have been flooded and things are being blown away but you are safe the storm is still there you cannot stop it but you are floating above that storm glory be to God it doesn't matter who you are there will be challenges it doesn't matter where you go there will be challenges it doesn't matter how hard you try and how much you take on those challenges with all you have there will be setbacks from time to time as long as you will live in this world there will be setbacks some of the setbacks that we encounter in life there fall in various categories that all of us can relate to it may be in your family a type of situation that you may feel that is unique to you about somebody else somewhere in the world is experience it and God has a plan and a purpose it may be in your finances you're maybe not very deep hole and you cannot see your way out but some ways somehow in the fullness of time God knows how to turn things our own it may be in your body may not be well you may be sick and some of us are been sick for a very long time what idea will come when God will turn things our own and I want to look at a few examples of these in Scripture there was a tional mite woman who was financially embarrassed the creditors qiyam to take away her sons to sell them into slavery she did not know what to do and then a prophet of God showed up asked her what she had and she said just a simple cruse of oil he said get as many contine as you have as much as possible and he started to pour and when the Prophet finished pouring because there was no more container she had enough to pay our debt to sell and repaired it God can provide a miracle to get you out of that situation there was a man who was sick and not a pool for 38 years waiting for the water to be trouble and each time it was trouble somebody got in there ahead of him and one day without notice without being on the agenda or the schedule Jesus Christ us Wharton and say get open walk share a bush under a bus if some of you one of these days God is just going to walk in on you any time you're going through the pangs and the peon of sickness and said nevertheless the Lord knoweth the way that I think so be encouraged get up every day and seek the Lord and show up for ministry and minister and God will work things out for you hallelujah God is a good god there are many other ears in life that you'll face setbacks you'll face setbacks on your job you face setbacks in your community you feel setbacks anywhere but I want to draw your attention to something in order for you when you take a bow and an arrow in order for you to get that arrow to fly you have to put it in the bow and you have to pull it back and the further you want it to fly is the further you have to pull it back and they hire you have to aim it if you aim it too low it will travel a distance and hit the ground early but if you aim it high and pull it back as far as you possibly can when you let go of that arrow it is going to fly over the walls fly over the trees fly over the wind and it's going to float its way to its destination for some of us we are pulled back whether it's the enemy that pulled your back when it's the situation that pulled your back or maybe God has done to you what to job and he puts him in his bow and he pulled you back unfortunately for some of us we can't stand away at him now we can't stand the pullback before anything about it you know Minister tarp step here for a moment Minister thought upon I might be on the same level and everything is going on well and we feel good and we are brothers together labour in the ministry and then God decided to pull me back I don't know what is happening what is pulling me back as far as me concerned in Ghana he left me become his seam in front and I really move from Wembley but from the back perspective things look different everything has looked for look further and they interview professional pro athletes and I tend to listen to persons who are successful in certain fields and there are those who will tell you that they weren't always successful they weren't always famous in fact many of them were ridicule and ostracized and written off but they will also tell you it's because of those experiences that set them back that caused them to go and to work harder and get stronger and to increase in knowledge and experience until they are no on top some persons know how to succeed because they have filled some persons no auto-advance ahead because they have been set back and pull back so whatever your circumstance is that you are waiting anger whatever your setback is focus on what is ahead so that when God is aiming you high you'll just get ready and make yourself loser that when he'll let you go you fly to your destination you fly to intended target there are lessons to be learnt in the setback before you fly the stories told about an eagle who lived among chickens he was hatched among the chickens he ate among the chickens he slept among the chickens but somehow him just never did feel normal but in Korea and just like what everybody else was doing because in doing what chickens do in scratch like a chicken scratch and him eat what chickens eat but somehow it was different as time went by he begin to grow bigger than them he became stronger than them couldn't quite understand it and if they were sheep they probably would have said it was the black sheep in the family and that's where some of us are right now because something is different about you you know 15 quiet where you are right now yeah just your temporary until one day the same way that Eagle decide to try something new he saw another Eagle fly by and I believe it was the only one who saw that Eagle because the chickens couldn't see that far and one day when he saw that Eagle fly by and he saw the Eagles of their own big wings like he had wings and the Eagle could flap he stretched out his wings and begin to flap and begin to soar and that was his last deer as a chicken so if you are a chicken right now it's time to cheer just at us but if you don't know already that you are an eagle in the chicken coop you need to understand that this is not where you belong you're sitting where shun might put your near your circumstance might put you here but that is not who you are it is only temporary you need to start spreading those wings and gain some confidence you need to start flapping I wanna start moving don't be afraid of ice just climb higher and higher and higher until you reach the altitude that you're supposed to belong today is the day that you start to get it in your mind and it's time for you to fly come on somebody say fly fly fly glory be to God anybody gets in this anybody understanding anything that you get in there are some responsibilities that come with flying it's not a giant right thing you know just go up there and do your own thing this is where God comes into play because we're all the wind beneath that Eagles windy but the wind beneath our egos wings I can stay up here God is that force that keeps him above the storm that keeps him floating but if that source is disconnected yes oh I was in a hole I've experienced that flight experience you know but then we disconnect from the source the things that we used to do to soar in God we do them no more we're doing other things the way is that we used to see God we don't seek Him anymore we seek in other things because you feel good because you're flapping are you climbing and everything nice so it's okay if me skip devotion today if it's okay if me stop fasting it's okay if me change up my mindset a little bit it's okay if me procrastinate a little bit and matures and you just become colder and colder until eventually you're right back to square one coaches will tell you that when you are defeated and opponent convincingly you have to guard against what they call it a letdown you get too comfortable yeah literally big things are won everything I workout right but the momentum can switch just like that because while you are flapping and you are rising on your sword the enemies they're planning and scheming and so when you're not paying attention and you start to lose altitude you become your home right into the range where the enemy can just shoot your own and I want to bring another component into this when you are living at the eager altitude when you're flying we are supposed to be flying nobody can attack and defeat you right there and if you have an enemy that you need to defeat you know fight them under your habitat when the eagle needs to defeat an enemy what the eagle does it swoops don't pick them up and take them up the eagle don't fight in another man's Valley in those fightin elements terms in fights the enemy at his altitude he fights the enemy on his terms too many of us making the devil dictate to us how the battle Moscow or the war must go how your life must go it's time for us to turn the table and give yourself home court advantage it's time for you to put yourself where God is where the Spirit of God is is a night and his presence is if you want to receive victory start making others big kids to you when and how you must fly start making people get ideas into your mind and into your head do will hear us and he will answer us and shows great and mighty things that we don't know about when we're in a moment of weakness and our pleas of failure we can call upon him we can cry to him we can after you have sheared and you have told some people sometimes and I couldn't understand it's so like where you were saying are real because they have never been there they don't know that experience so they can relate to it and because they are so negative because of their experience they just give you what they have and they make you heavier than you need to be you cannot soar to HIGH heights with heaviness Jesus one of the things I love about the eagle when he's flying in don't worry about the height and it doesn't worry about the conditions because he's made for it there are some of us who has a son to heart we're not going up there that's why you need to transform because one of unique things about the eagle I read once the e glass two eyelids one to close the eye and one that to shade the eye from the Sun and that is unique and it is special we need to understand that if God is going to take us places is going to have to change some things about us it's going to have to add some things towards that others don't have give us what we need to stay where we are but after intense internet a low for that evolution when we just reach are we no use to it we wanted to change back to what it was because we don't know this thing but remember it is God who lifts you and his God who will keep you it's not in your power it's not in your might it isn't spirit isn't that what the word says when you're also flying we're gonna go back to the letdown when you're flying you have to be very careful what you take with you the airlines will tell you that you can only carry certain amount of luggage and they can only weigh a certain amount of pounds and if you try to do more they will charge you the reason for that is to deter you from caring too much now we're going to get a little bit technical no because when that aeroplane is flying the airplane has to use more fuel and more power the heavier it is and so the more it use more is more quickly that fuel is consumed and then it has to land the same goes for the Eagle if the Eagle is carrying our own too much weight and cannot get as far as how he would like to get for some of us when we are mounting up we're mounting up with too much too much have something with carrying things that are beyond a designated weight when the Eagle picks up our prey he knows the way that he can carry to get to his destination he doesn't pick up something that is too big it doesn't pick up something that is harmful he picks up something that is either the designated weight are below and he makes it to his destination some of us are carrying our own too much of something we are carrying our own things that we know supposed to be carrying our own and so we get tired too easy too quick you just pray this morning and a lot energizing your field refresh and then you pick up the garbage and start to walk around with it and you wonder why you get so tired so weak so quick use the principle that the Eagle use use a principle that the airlines use now understand this the fuel is also a part of the weight of the aircraft just like Oh your body is a part of the weight and the Eagles butt is a part of the way that he carries but if you carry the right amount of weeds at the right amount of time nothing can stop you from getting to your destination am I too technical you want me simplified a little bit more alright there are some things I want to look at in order to fly almost accept God's will don't just do your own thing not because you can drive a car ride a bicycle don't mean you can't go into the cockpit of an aeroplane and flight without knowledge you need to seek instructions they will tell you that if you don't spin a certain amount of always learning to fly you're not doing it to fly on your own you do not treat things business as usual understand that this is God's business are not yours so you need to seek God's will seek is know-how seek his instruction and seek his source as much as I love orange juice it doesn't make any sense for me to put orange juice in my car in a Twingo so it's not year away as much as you love certain things a certain way so that's the first thing you
