Pelican Catch PWR 100 First Look

hey guys thanks for stopping by the channel today we are on the Pelican catch power 100 we're out here fishing on Lake Sinclair and it's an absolutely gorgeous morning out here and the bike this morning was nothing short of Epic I've been out on this kayak slash John Boat whatever you want to call it a couple times already there's a lot I love about it a few things I'm not too crazy about but overall I am very happy with my decision to pick up this boat slash kayak like I said whatever you want to call it so let me show you a few things on the boat before I show you how my morning's gone so far fishing all right all right so right off the bat obviously I'm not paneling right now this thing is powered by a Minn Kota 45 pound thrust trolling motor that I had behind me and the way that I'm powering that Minn Kota trolling motor behind me is I have a lassigy 100 amp hour lithium battery stored in front of me in a future video I'm going to be doing a more in-depth review on that battery so far I love it I had a little learning curve the first time I took it out ran out of power on it but that was my fault it wasn't the battery's fault this thing has a nice carpeted deck it's pretty stable I wouldn't want to be standing on it when it's a little bit wavy like it is right now but it is stable enough to stand and Fish on I've been standing and fishing and caught a fish on it already not on this strip but on a prior trip plenty of rails to store different accessories that you might want to have on your kayak it's got four flush mounted rod holders and a really nice trans amount in the back that's what makes this boat so special it's really easy to just put either a trolling motor that's electric or you could even put a small gas powered outboard on the back of this kayak no problems at all and easily one of the best things about this kayak is the 360 seat that I have on here if I have any issues with anything in the back of the boat turn around I can fish this way you know if I'm anchored and I just want to fish this way I can do that it's really nice it works really well the seat can also slide forward and backwards it's an absolute Game Changer guys it's been nothing short of amazing having a 360 seat even if I got another kayak I think I would install a 360 seat after having this thing you want to grease and tackle on the back no problem before you're blindly just you know reaching back and you're hurting your shoulder and you're risking tipping out of your kayak for what the 360 seat awesome guys so like I said I'm going to be doing a more in-depth review on the battery on the whole boat itself so for now let's just get to fishing and I'll show you how my day has gone so far out here on Lake Sinclair stay tuned guys [Music] fish on guys oh it's a big one it's a nice one thank you oh yeah that's a nice one dude digging [Music] yes look at the size of that one guys holy crap absolute tank what an awesome start to the day man again on the drop shot using this new bait Berkeley power bait accent flat nose minnow dude money all right guys so big big Lake Sinclair smiley appreciate the bite buddy come on [Music] I'm gonna have to give you some of these uh what I'm drop shotting with they're they're amazing I'll give you a couple of these uh these minnows I'm using they're great it's bigger than I thought I think I don't think it's that big I think he is good I think he's good oh he ain't done that dude it's a nice one oh yeah [Music] another good one there guys not as good as that other one but damn good fish maybe like a three pounder it's awesome look at that thing all right so that's on the drop shot again that's been uh the best thing that's working today everything's working but the drop shot seems to be the best so appreciate it buddy fish on guys that look like a decent one I can do an airport foreign back over to Harley now got another one on the crank just trolling all right guys so it took a minute to unhook him but nice one that could be the last one of the day where we are trolling in and I'm not too far thank you
