I really like the IDEA, just it seems like if it was a few mm thicker it could have been much more functional like including a full SD card slot, improved cooling (maybe even active), HDMI, USB-A and USB-C for power however I doubt it is drawing 15W even under full load and turbo'ing. I think it simply is unable to dissipate the heat into the chassis quicker enough triggering shut down.
Why not buy a raspberry PI?
I mean if you don't need Windows, then why bother with something that much more expensive?
I mean there are POS that work on the PI/Linux.
You can watch youtube on a PI and if you have something custom then it doesn't matter anyways. There are also alternatives on x86 chipsets, but that often isn't worth it with their higher price than ARM counterparts.
So WHY use this over something else?
What about as a steamOS steamlink alternative?
