hello guys welcome welcome back to our channel so in this video we are going to see how can we send a mail from java using an SMTP server so this is going to be a two section video in the first part we are going to set up Gmail SMTP on a Gmail account through which we are going to send the mail and the second part we will write the Java code for the same so first things first we have opened our Gmail account over here through which we are going to send the email so we have to make few changes over here the first change is we have to go to settings and see all the settings come to this forwarding pop or iMac and we have to enable it so once you've enabled it you have to save the changes so once you've done this we have to go to our account settings so should we go over here and click on manage your Google accounts so once you're in your Google account you need to set up compulsory two-factor Authentication so here I have set up two-factor authentication so once you have done with this you have to come over here and search for app passwords this one so it asks your password for verification so to get your password and hit next so here we will set it to save let's save it so it asks you to create a name for your app so we will call it SMTP Java so yes so once you are done with this we will hit create once it's created it will give you a code a password which is supposed to say using this password in our part 2 we are going to send the mail so that's all for this part one if you'll have any doubts you can pin it in the comment below also you can hit me up on my socials moving forward to the next video I'll see you over there
