THE BOOK EATURES ALL KINDS OF FAMILIES INCLUDING THOSE WITH THE TWO DADS AND MOMS. PARENTS AGAINST THE ASSEMBLY WEARING SHIRTS THAT SAY "NO SEXUALIZING OUR KIDS." AND "PARENTAL CHOICE MATTERS." URGING KIDS PARENTS TO KEEP THE KIDS AT HOME. >> THIS IS A PEACEFUL PROTEST AGAINST L.A. USD. APARTMENT THE SCHOOL DISTRICT IS STANDING BY ITS DECISION WITH SUPPORT FROM ANTI PROTESTERS. >> I THINK IT'S GREAT ESPECIALLY FOR MY DAUGHTER TO SEE REPRESENTATION OF OUR FAMILY. IT IS ALL-INCLUSIVE. SHE KNOWS THAT RAINBOW DAY IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, AND ACCEPTING EVERYONE NO MATTER THE SKIN COLOR, WHERE THEY COME FROM. >> THERE IS NO SEX EDUCATION SPECIFIC TO THE BOOK THAT IS BEING READ TO THEM, AND IT PORTRAYS A REALITY THAT IS NOT UNCOMMON. IN ILLINOIS, A PARENT CALLED POLICE ON THE TEACHER FOR OFFERING AN LGBTQ BOOK TO A MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS.
