Pants Up with Pastor Mildred Kingsley Okonkwo

amen amen okay so i want to start with just a simple scripture um i bring you greetings from pastor k he's probably he's either watching or um sleeping so i'm sure he's doing one of the two i just want to read you um i will read a scripture and then i'll share what i think god has put in my heart for you tonight i'm going to start with luke 18. um and to be honest i tried not to listen to um any of the messages so that i wouldn't cloud what i think god is saying um i tried not to listen to what you guys did last week or the week before and we had an argument in the car whether today was pants up or pants down that's how bad it was i tried not to know what was going on so that it wouldn't affect what i felt god wanted me to say to you today so i'm going to read luke 18. it's a common scripture i read it then i'll share my perspective on it then i'll give you a few things i think god is saying then we'll pray i'll take a few questions and then i will battle the traffic again and go home so luke 18 i'll start from verse 18. um i want to read the should i read the passion yeah i read the personal translation so it says one day a wealthy jewish nobleman of high standing posed this question to jesus he said wonderful teacher what must i do to be saved and receive eternal life and jesus answered why would you call me wonderful when there is only one who is wonderful and that is god alone he said you already know what is right and what the commandments teach do not commit adultery do not murder do not steal do not lie and respectfully honor your father and your mother maybe i should read that line again respectfully honor your father and your mother and the wealthy leader replied these are the very things i've been doing for as long as i can remember ah jesus said well there's still one thing you're missing in your life what is that ask the man jesus said you must go and sell everything that you own and give all the proceeds to the poor so you will have eternal treasures then come and follow me when the rich leader heard these words he was devastated for he was extremely wealthy and jesus saw his disappointment and looking right at him he said it is next to impossible for those who have everything to enter into god's kingdom realm he said nothing could be harder it could be compared to trying to stuff a rope through the eye of a needle those who heard this said then who can be saved and jesus responded what appears humanly impossible is more than possible with god for god can do what men cannot so i've read that scripture to you and i've and i'm sure in fact is there anybody here who hasn't heard that scripture before is there anybody i'm sure you've heard that scripture before over and over again and so this i think it was this morning when i was thinking about this meeting and i was asking god what do you want me to say to your children and that scripture popped into my heart and then i was thinking about it and i was replaying the whole story in my head and i was just imagining um it's very it's very interesting that they made it very clear that this guy was young i mean if you read king james king james you say he was a young rich ruler so he was young he was rich and he was influential the three things that most young people want is anybody that doesn't want to be rich is anybody here that's not rich is anybody here that don't reach okay is anybody here that wants to be rich because when you are doing as if he's only having people want to go you don't want to me i can let cars on iphones and saying so my apple watch is due for change it's not like yes now so the guy was rich which is what most of us that's the reason why we are going to school if it's not the the real reason why you're going to school is the promise of a better life that when you come out you go hammer abby that's the only reason i'm going to school second reason why you're probably going to school so that you can see boyfriend or girlfriend so that you can marry second reason it's true now if they say just go to school there's no guarantee of anything you go go no no so the guy was young so the guy was young he was rich and he was influential those are the three who does not want to rise the top most to be more to be known in fact who does not want to be to have one billion followers on social media who doesn't want to be verified who does not want you know who does not want to be paid on youtube billions of money you know that's that's exactly what this guy had this guy had all these things that we're all looking for and yet obviously something was still missing because it was not enough for him because he still came to us jesus and because he was smart he knew that if i've enjoyed like this in this life you know who paid me to go hell good so far so i have to make sure that if i'm enjoying here i must enjoy on the other side smart guy and that's why i believe he was rich and that's why i believe he was influential because he he was sharp so the guy said i'm enjoying in this life i have to make sure that when i cross over because there's the other side i must also enjoy so i went to meet jesus and then he was healing him he said wonder some scriptures say good master some say wonderful i mean like how you would do in i mean i always use the example how people see me and say mama for mama mama of life in double table mama that was kind of funny funny things and the guy was telling jesus good master twilight baba he was saying all kinds of things why they watch me what do you want you know that there's only one person who is good what's all this greeting when somebody greets you too much you know they want something somebody cannot just be greeting you and healing you for no reason there's a way that we even hear you like we're coming now we're coming now we can't we passed okay struck and anyone who knows about the case truck knows that it looks really like when they see your side it looks like you have money so joshua two would have borrowed the car drive would not be saying i ain't get a car locking eye now look me so police now i went and stood in front and then we almost hit the police guys guys say no i just they hate you because and i'm like just because you want to beg money and that's just how human beings are nobody's going to greet you if you're even going if you go to an e3 you think they're greeting you for greeting sake they are greeted you because they want something to drop so they will greet you and so they greeted jesus and just said stop watching me what do you want and the guy said how can i be sure that the way i'm living here is where i will live on that side what do i need to do jesus why are you asking me to be questioned you already know the law don't you know the law you already know that i don't steal don't kill don't commit fornication or adultery do you know honor your father and mother these are the commandments you already know you guys have been doing that since and then jesus looked at him and said ah you have done everything but the one thing that you need to do and jesus said go and sell everything that you have give it to the poor then come and follow me now if you look at that story you would think that it's just about money if you look at it you think that jesus was just testing him one salesman i don't think it was just about money i think jesus was trying to check what's most important to you i think that if this guy was a movie star for instance and he had a lot of girls following him and he had a lot of girls every as in you go take one for breakfast use the other one for lunch i don't know for dinner clean mouth sharp guy that kind of thing i believe that if he had come to jesus jesus would have said to him leave all these girls and come and follow me i believe that he would have been tested where it was important the reason why this guy was tested with money was because they told us that he was rich that's what they used to define him that he was rich he was wealthy he had plenty money so obviously the money was more important to him than god now if you read this story and you don't read because what i've noticed about the bible especially about the gospels anything that happens with jesus you will see that at least three or four people will tell you that same story so if you want to read it maybe look okay this is luke talking if you go to matthew matthew will tell you that oh the guy came and asked how can i have eternal life and then jesus said to him or you say oh what is the greatest commandment now i don't know if he's the same guy but the stories are so similar i say what's the most important commandment i said you already know now love the lord your god with all your heart with all your might with all your intelligence with all your passion with all your prayers and the second one is like it love your neighbor as yourself so this guy was trying to he was trying to get the secrets to living a successful life here and then ensuring that he will still make it to heaven because last class that's what's most important too because it will be very bad eh that you are enjoying this life you have money you have fame you have followers you have you have cars you have houses you have as in your phone is constantly ringing now i know that that doesn't look like a lot to you until you marry and the only person that calls you is one or your children when you're much younger your phone is constantly ringing there's one guy that wants to take you outside shakara there's one girl that that's calling different things happening in your life it's very bad when you feel like you're important or you even have you even have great things you are doing you sing one song everybody's dying you're everywhere you're going you are hearing your song you know fame those kind of things are happening in your life and then you now cross over to the other side where it really matters because even if you live too much here no past 120 years old you can't leave more than 120 years sure you know that why bother i'm like don't know now get plans to live 600 years it's 120 years now you can't live more than that here but eternity is eternity it turned i think the years will just keep going no they finish you know they finish you reach 1000 years it's just starting you reach 1 million it's just starting it's infinity imagine that you enjoy on this side and cross over to the other side to go on so far so this scripture tells us that these guys where this guy was trying to make sure that i get it right here and i get it right on the other side and that essentially is what a young person should be thinking about now how to make it here and how to make it on the other side let me tell you something i don't i i don't want to i don't want to go too far and you know i just want to deal with some specific things that i feel like god said i should talk to you guys about there are three particular things just three things that i think that every young person will struggle with in life three things number one money the love of money that's why people will sell i don't know i don't know i mean i feel like it has come down now sure but those days people used to use their appearance to do money they say you do it let's say do it so it's pants they use now they would do literally do anything for money people will do anything to make it and that includes sleeping around it includes joining calls it will include do literally anything to make it the second thing is sex that's the second thing a young person would struggle with the first thing is money love of money second thing is sex the third thing is power and influence that wanting to be known that if you post something on on social media i've never posted you are waiting to see how many people have liked it as in as if your soul is connected to the post if it doesn't get likes if you don't get if i put about you you are checking your if you are checking like that you're addicted to power and influence and it's something that you need to work on so these three things god was saying to me these are the three things that you must control if not you are not going to live a successful life here and cross over to the other side well so you're going to have to control those three things how do you control those things number one authenticity be true to who you are like i said i'm not sure i can't break any tables i just can't talk like a mother to our children authenticity be true to who you are don't follow everything that other people are doing just because it's raining does not mean it's raining for you i remember when skinny jeans first came out hey as the name implies skinny jeans you will now see somebody whose one leg is like all the legs of all the women in my family put together they will not say they are wearing skinny jeans he ceases to be skinny jeans if you are not skinny and they will now wait and then they will now wear crop top handsy your tummy is not really the type that they made is for jonathan it's not really you they were thinking when we're designing the clothes you your type is booboo ladies like us that we respect ourselves and then unfortunately for you all your wicked friends and i always say it for you to successfully fail you must have stupid friends all your stupid friends will not be putting fire that fire emoji is the biggest problem in this life you will not snap yourself looking like a fat fool they saw you coming from home without them telling you pause and then they'll be kneeling down to help you take the picture wickedness depths of wickedness and you know when you're looking at it you think something was telling you the spirit of god was saying my child my child don't disgrace yourself like this one wear bootleg or just wear trouser my child while you say no your friends are saying what hi lit yes they will not come and touch you us and you know because you hear god you know that the club does not fit you but because everybody is doing it you now follow them and do it and they are wicked it fits them it does not fit you and because they are weaker they know that the uglier people are around them the finer you look so they need to gather more ugly people around them so that they can look horse so to be encouraging you with nonsense do not take people to announce they'll not be putting fire for you there let's let's see you are not little except the elites they're talking about is literary works you are not lit go home and tie a rumble by like your mids do what they made for you be authentic you know that your father is managing to send you to school is not the way is doing them that is doing you you know how your village gathered money they did village meeting put you in the middle and told you remember the child of who you asked your father you remember the child of your young question no the child of who you are we have many that got that money i borrowed money from paparke i borrow money from they've told you your life is really gathered money to send you to school you now go to school your friends not say that they have one party they want to go for and that they they all want to wear what's that thing they want a twin i don't know how five people are twinning twin is not true they will not say we are all twinning god god will help me and food today people will not be angry tonight say i'm just saying after that i would say to apologize it's all right they will not say well it's winning and they want to win they will not buy drinks off two five they'll buy 15k jeans under your 15k you know that when your father was bringing it out they did village meeting on your head but because you want to feel among because you want to be a part of what everybody is doing then you forget where you're coming from they gave you money for school fees you're not used to buy clothes because you would rather look cool in school and oh some of these stupid things i hear when people send me in in fact these days i don't answer dm if you send me dm you're wasting your time because the things these are my dm so depress me somebody will send me a message and i'm wondering but you can't read you can't really have been created stupid like this it's not possible is that you you decided as in the wedding no now send me a message that there's this boy when they start with that there's this boy my house will just fall to my leg now there's this boy i really like him i give him my money i cook for him i do this i do that he talks and all his friends call me our wife all his friends say that he likes me but i think maybe he's too shy to talk to me he's not he's too shy to talk to you but not too shy to eat your food he's not too shy to collect your money and he's his friends his friend his friends i'm really not going to go there today be authentic you are nobody's wife who you are when they call you our wife it means you belong to nobody you know worry now i belong to everybody and to nobody i can't you see today the short people didn't talk because it belongs to everybody and nobody so you are a wife they will come and be ordering ah i think he wants to eat spaghetti bolognese you want the market ah is there foreign today you two run that your fried rice is bad oh hey in fact his mother you two you one cook it and bring it and save and guys just like he said i think he's too shy and you'll be asking me stupid question asking from there in the university with them i will not say what do your parents do and my parents are individual your parents are in the village suffering to send you money to cook for boy so when the when you were writing your list that miscellaneous chevy people would still have miscellaneous that's the still rain after many years while i go to school so you write your list write everything school everything else scoop is right people be sure everything are miscellaneous so that misleading you wrote is for boyfriend be authentic you have to know who you are who god created you to be can i talk to the ladies for a few minutes ladies if you understand the virtue that you carry you see when that scripture says that a virtuous woman who can find is not talking about a married woman their trust does not because you i don't know if you if you are like me growing up i hate that i almost started thinking that veterans means married so everywhere you go virtuous women praying to our society they just might you just assume no that word virtue talks about a strong woman strong dependable with moral character wise industrious that that fears the lord and so that virtue is a powerful force that can create that has restorative power that has healing power and has power to change things that power that is in you that makes you a virtuous woman is the same power that jesus was carrying and as he was walking somebody touched him and got healed see when virtue leaves you i don't i don't think you know but let me tell you this when i don't know what i meant i don't know if it's everybody sure but when a girl started having sex especially outside marriage i can't tell is like cloths that they wash yeah why are you carrying clothes are you washing it you know you know cloth that is brand new and no clothes that you washed that's how it is but you can't tell because you are the closest they are washing [Music] i want it to sink in you carry virtue every time a guy takes from you whether sexually or emotionally he's taking virtue he's taking the the virtue that you can use to make a money king if you know what you carry you will carry it with pride and you will care about who takes from you not everyone should plug into you so it's not just and you think you are ordinary you don't know what you carry the name the word that was used when god said let us make a helper that is comparable a help meet that word is either it's the same word in ebenezer the isa that we call god my helper that is the same thing that's what it describes the holy spirit that's what you are a human version so god now says oh this my son king sleep where i want him to go he needs a helper he needs a comforter he needs one who is called alongside to help him i now say [Music] mildred come on marry kingsley and then i enter into his life and bible says that a virtuous woman is a crown on to her husband which means that i carry king making anointing and so when i entered into his life when i met her okay do you have anything no if i wasn't at that time 5k if i scared you 5k you need your fatal you need your faith to join with our own to produce that 5k and you know sometimes when we say these things people think we're just saying it there were times when we did not have toothpaste in our house my husband was on tv but i knew like i knew my name that it was only a matter of time because of what i carry so you can't carry this grace and this anointing this king makers anointing and a boy will be treating you anyhow he will say i don't like you you'll be crying crying why exactly why exactly are you crying because he that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor you are the favorite career if he doesn't find you doesn't find favor so who should be crying him who should be posing you so he says he's not interested thank god sir see where that is you say i'm not i don't know i'm not really feeling this you say exactly and i'm not about to waste my time so i have people that need to people that need what i carry kind of while they go where should they cry what do they cry what do they cry hey you carry yourself and your virtue intact the only reason why you are crying is because the virtue has reduced you're never sure whether that's remaining for the reapers and they sent you to yes that's why you're crying if he dated you you did not spend your money you did not spend your brain you do not sleep with him if you say it's going what will you do bye bye and please don't let the door hit you on your way out what's that that's why you're crying so carry yourself with confidence and the reason i'm talking to the ladies because ladies are the the easiest to sway men are not externally motivated if guys no one do something a good one others say he has bad friends he's a lie a guy will not follow bad friends if he doesn't want to follow bad friends he's only girls that are externally motivated how do i know if you don't like a guy you see a guy say he's ugly he's the guy by your iphone today tomorrow call you on your birthday he's the first person that calls you in the morning he says i just wanted to pray with you this hour a gift is coming are your roommates are coming another one has come another one has come out this guy they try and then the guy will not call your roommate are you guys doing okay i just want to send some snacks for you guys just to no it's not really for her birthday it's just for you guys because i know you guys are doing a lot all the stuff i'm sending to the room i know it's a lot of stress on you guys i hope the space is okay or do i want to take you guys into a hotel tonight then you now say i'm confused they'll not be telling this dude are you caused did they really swear for authentic don't be ashamed to say you're a christian that's the only way you can make it in this world because if you if you are like this and like this if you don't stand for anything you will fall for everything so make it very clear i'm a christian i'm a child of god don't be ashamed thankfully now i don't know if it's thankfully but when i when i got born again we didn't have bibles on our phones and those days you see girls they will wrap bible we say with newspaper with calendar where are you going so i'm just going down the road and you're going to church show them that it's bible people are ashamed to carry bible because you don't want people to laugh at you you must stand for something just say if you're ashamed of me so when you reach where any day important when my father asked me do you know this guy say me i don't know him so be authentic if you come from a home where you don't have plenty money money you're safe manage yourself it doesn't mean you will not have soros okay generation oh coconut head is thought about coconut generation be careful be careful of social media let me tell you not everything on social media is true i said it's a this proverbs series and one of the proverbs i shared there is not television they love the quick don't pass that thing you are seeing eh israel's matas i mean pastor he says that you see because of my job i can't say there are some things i can't say i can't tell you there's some people that your writing relationship goes eh demand they stand in that place no more understand that please they are not talking it's not a monk all these people that are looking at on social media most of them are living a fake life you must understand that you are living for an audience of one only god matters i'm telling you the things you see on social media forget though some of those people that said they have one million followers there they bought apart from the the 500 million that they bought they bought followers the second part is that they've opened many accounts and they're following themselves and then they'll put posts and then they'll use all those fake accounts and comment on it so you see they have engagement people don't understand what's going on then you you'll not be tensioned be killing yourself that nobody's commenting on your opposed meanwhile is the same person that is the poster people see and the posted be careful of what you see on social media social media is not the law social media is not the lord because i see a lot of things it's and you know unfortunately we don't understand that media shapes culture so it is what the reason why you are dressed like this is what you've seen on the media if not uncle you know that you'll be wearing a shokuto and and bid and i'll put it on one hand and wear this thing and be bouncing about and everybody say oh he's so cute he's quick guess who's job running after him hey but you see that because we've seen noble people they will knock their neck even if you can't breathe you think it's stylish because it's what has you know that's what has shaped our culture if you can't speak good english does that mean you are not intelligent no but because we see that on social media that you everybody that people people have not seen airports if you hear the concept funny you'll be wondering is it are you are you a citizen because the way they were talking oh my god someone said oh i just went to my side and i'll be like ah what is talking now now me and this guy grow for good now how you see all of a sudden you'll be hearing different kinds of phones flying over your head and then you you know that you cannot speak you now want to speak you now bite your tongue what was the problem i'm telling you social media is destroying a lot of people social media also has taught us disrespect and i'm going to go there today because one of the things that satan is doing is that he wants to kill this generation by taking away the one thing that god says you must do he says honor your father and your mother that is the first commandment with a promise so that it will be well with you and you will live long meaning if you don't know your father and your mother it will not be well with you and you will not live long so other people will not come when he says father mother is not just talking about your biological parents he's talking about that generation he's talking about there's a generation before you so you will see someone like mr poetico or someone like that the joke and because social media has removed you know you can't write at pastor except the pastor is dear except like me now you can't abuse me you can't remove the pastor because i put it inside my name because you want to be rude so i want to help you not to be rude so you now say ask david here because you can buy recharge card no it's not a chat what they buy now save i'm too old these days data because you can buy data of how much how much is data cheapest data how much there's 59 data that's the problem that's the problem maybe you should have been born in generation where sim card was 3k when i bought my sim card it was 30 000 error that was bringing this disrespect now i will buy sim you will buy sim and me i'd never know that i used to do fifteen hours so there's 1599 on uh chisholm now with the buyer uh let me know how much i spend on know that switzerland now came into my dm at pastor mildred as christopher kilometer as everyday repo as portraying my day as kingsley pastor uh now i said a lot of pastors well i don't know what the word is but i said ja i tell a lot of pastors i was like you people would better speak up you what you will not talk now you think that you will pre when people finish killing us you will preach to yourselves your churches will be empty and something i said first of all the church is never my own it's god's church so i'm not even i'm having that headspace then secondly what makes you think that i work for you if the person who called me has not sent me to speak and i say this all the time the one who gave you a voice must give you a message you can't just be talking anyhow so because you and it's not every drone that they beat that you dance to just because you're beating drum you think i'll come and be dancing for you that people are speaking i should speak up now i'm not going to do that until god tells me to i'm not going to say a word that's why i was watching at first i didn't say anything i was just watching then i now started hearing things like our parents were cowards one girl actually heard black papa cat i thought say no i'm a mama baba don't die there's no way the way she abused them that day because when she was in our parents i believe it's her own mother and
