PACKING ORDERS FOR SMALL BUSINESS (ideas)

[Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] so a couple weeks ago i had another small business owner ask me why do i put so much time and effort into my packaging when amazon can just throw their products into a box call it a day and nobody complains and i told her well i'm not amazon i don't want to be amazon i am a one-person business owner that wants you to feel appreciated you deserve to have an experience from the day you order to the day you open your package if you're a small business owner you need to order your packaging for a pen chip i got 200 of the pink ones for 8.50 of the cactus ones for only 2.49 it's literally the best deal for low how do i sell myself or get my name out there when i'm just starting out that is literally one of the biggest questions that i get asked almost every single day when you're your own boss and it's your own business you have to remember that your business is going to grow as much as you put into it you are the face behind your business you are the name you have to promote promote promote your business i am a huge believer that with social media you can grow your business and make tons and tons of sales you have to be extremely consistent don't let a day go by without posting without talking about your product without talking about upcoming launches get people excited for what you are selling another thing is pr pr is a great way to get your stuff out there get your name out there yes you're setting products for free but you're also getting a lot of exposure in exchange so go out there promote your stuff be consistent and watch your business grow if you're a small business use this sound and let's just help each other grow yesterday we got our first order from etsy i remember i refreshed the page twice when i received it because i could not believe we actually got our first order this one is going out to erica she purchased our box set of six rose candles here i'm just pulling out her blush card and one that includes some candle care tips this order is going all the way to seattle i live in toronto so it's really exciting to be sending out our first package that far and also a bit nerve-wracking because our candles are hand poured and i want to make sure they make it in one piece here i'm just taping up the sides to make sure that it fits perfectly into the box then i wrote a personalized handwritten note and placed all the cards into the box i also added a free sample of one of our scents love is in the air which smells like roses with light notes of jasmine along with a match set so she can light up her candle and it's complete thanks here's an easy way to save money on branding your packaging first find the packaging you would like to use for your product i chose these cute little bags next find a company that creates custom stamps and lastly you stamp your packaging make sure the packaging that you are using can be stamped so that it whether you have one customer or a hundred packaging your order should be fun it's so exciting knowing that someone purchased your stuff and they are about to receive it so put love into it it doesn't have to be anything expensive you could just put a simple little note and be proud of yourself because you just made a sale i want you to take the sun and show me you packaging your orders so do you want to know who's watching your videos like really watching your videos till the end if you have people just spamming your account and liking it and watching for a quick second you're gonna get shadow band so i'm gonna give you the sound to use on your own video ask someone to leave you some green hearts so you know that they've watched this video to the end [Music] [Music] [Music] thoughts i have while packaging orders please be centered god squiggle paper time [Music] wait what did she order why love this necklace so cute this is the last one sparkle sparkle scrunchy time pink is my fave these are all ugly i lied i love my packaging [Music] peel porn satisfying damn she think i'm obsessed with this printer [Music] all done now y'all know i have no problem sharing where i get certain things from and i'm definitely not a gatekeeper i've said this before where i've got them from but i'll definitely come back and tell you guys again i get my holographic bubble millers and boxes from you pack and ship they are so affordable y'all i get the 100 pack the 6.5 by 10 for 26.99 and then i get the 50 boxes for 29.99 and let me tell y'all i ordered these two days ago i got them today try them out you
