just some years ago also dwayne and cindy pain to purpose ministry was formed and there have been several different books that have been written some about their journey that they have been on with their family the latest one from pain to purpose recovering rediscovering joy after suffering a major loss this is a book that was written with dwayne and cindy along with david ferguson well-known writer and if you'd be interested in getting this book it's over here on the tables with the mullet family you can pick that up along with different recordings of their family you would find it very very helpful and this tool not only helps us but it helps us to help others and that's really what it's all about is we're here to help one another we're not here to see through each other but to see one another through and to help and so dwayne and cindy and their family i know alicia is not with them here for those of you that are new to duane and cindy um two of their children that had heart transplants as babies and austin their only son had his home going at age 16. um alicia what is he 23 are you serious 24 wow that makes brianna about 25. until tuesday so until tuesday okay but anyhow but um because of some of the uh health issues not able to be here and be with them but i know that gal is praying for you all and so are many others and they'll be sharing more about that you know 1985 this young man came to the ministry from sarasota florida at age 19. now we're all sitting here tonight and all of us would be like hey the journeys we're on right now we wouldn't have realized years ago where the lord would be taking us the same thing is true for dwayne and cindy and for their family but they have taken what has been painful in their lives and have allowed god to redeem it to restore a peace in their hearts and joy and helping others that are going through similar things their songs will reveal that as they share tonight would you welcome the molop family this evening couple days ago and as we left i asked the question when are tears good i think about for alicia being sick the last couple years when we left there were tears but i say they were good because that meant she had a desire to come and to be along and to participate before she was sick she didn't even desire that this a year ago brianna and alisha produced a song that talks about i know that you are able talking to almighty god i know that you're able i know that you can save through the fire with your mighty hand but even if you don't i still trust in you god the song i'd like to share with you a special song that they recorded last year even if [Music] my name is alicia i almost died as an infant and when i was three months old i had a heart transplant i travel and sing with my family proclaiming the goodness of god and sharing christ's hope with those who are hurting but throughout my 22 years on this earth my body has battled for life i never wanted the hundreds of doctors nurses and medical procedures i never wished for my skin to look like that of a burn victim when i was five i never wanted the pain that is again plaguing my body today [Music] my parents always told me that god has a purpose for me but can i still trust god even if these painful struggles never go away [Music] while wrestling with this question this song is my battle cry they say sometimes you win some sometimes you lose some [Music] i've stood on this stage night after night reminding the broken it'll be all right but right now oh right now i just can't it's easy to sing but there's nothing to bring me down what will i say when i'm held to the flame like i am right now i know you're able and i know you can save through the fire with your mighty hand but even [Music] they say it only takes a have been my life has been i've talked about at different times my father my earthly father has impacted my life in a very significant way and uh next to that spending extended extended years i never figured out how many years that was i didn't figure that and else but many years seeing the vision and passing passion within nelson's heart as he will reach out to the least of these it can be someone who has had too much to drink it can be someone in africa it can be an inmate in a death row cell those that are searching and looking for answers nelson's passion has been to share jesus with them and my life has been impacted in many many ways because of that passion and i'm so thankful for that influence in my life [Music] someday some way somewhere you will see jesus will call for you and for me [Music] and we'll all be together when our new life begins when jesus calls all his children in when jesus calls all his children when the trumpet sounds that's when we will walk in yes sweetheart and i a lower week ago is 49 years of marriage we have five children 16 grandchildren a couple of those grandchildren been around here and last night andy and rundle hopped in on us our oldest daughter and son-in-law and like sarah said at the board meeting the other day we have the the world's best son-in-law's with four of them and we love them so much and what they mean and what they are to our grands such a blessing and um this song is a song that talks about strolling over heaven if there's a loved one in glory that perhaps tonight you're thinking of then dedicate this song know he's really praying for us and thought it'd be a little bit tough maybe he gets winded a little easier hey at 96 you know hey so uh he's not able to be here but i know he's uh keeping us in our life our family and once in a great while we get to be in africa together he's there a lot more than i am but once in a great while we get to enjoy that together a few weeks ago we had that privilege for a few days and it was oh they're telling me i'm holding i'm holding two things so i'm gonna put that in my pocket and something else it was you and something else yeah i'm not really holding you but anyway uh but just such a such a blessing to work together and to see his heart for the poor the needy the crippled the sick uh just such a great great inspiration to us personally and i just want to honor that and god bless you in that gifting that god has and that burden that god has put on your heart and i love you so much i love you brother dave i love you and i thank god for dave and ruthanne and their family so much but you know i just want to say this because you said that this is a this is a one minute thing but often times our history is what god uses to plant vision for the future when i was four years old i had polio in 1952 and i was paralyzed on the right side for two weeks i was the only one from hartville ohio out of five children that walked out of the hospital god was already preparing me back then it was giving me a burden and a vision and so i just want to say think of your history because often in our history and childhood god begins to plant kinser's pennsylvania i work on a farm there full-time my wife is a full-time mother homemaker she homeschools the children does a lot of teaching a lot of training a lot of praying just appreciate her influence in our home we have 10 children we're gonna start with the youngest tonight kezia is two years old jalen is four years old he just woke up adria is six years old seven malachi is 10. emily is 12. carrie is 15. joshi was 17. wilma is 20. barbie is 22. and jordan lynn they're married live in lancaster city and they have our little asher jacobi he is two month old so we are grateful uh for what god has blessed us with and we really appreciate our children we're a lot of joys and a lot of uh fun times together so we're gonna do one more song here tonight and it's called living in again an honor to be here tonight and i know many of you were here last night but just uh a quick introduction here tonight my wife ruth anne for the past almost 30 years now we're celebrating uh 30 years and almost 30 years we're so grateful god has uh we have had our challenges and issues to work through and things to go through but by god's grace we continue on you know when we got married and we said until death doeth part and by god's grace we will continue that by his grace and we are so grateful and our oldest is derek he is um yeah he's our oldest and then eugene bass player and many other things he does and then debra uh our oldest daughter her husband uh corbin are in um live in napanee indiana i know people are looking for her but they're not here but they're living in indiana and then kyle is next in line and then grace is our youngest and as we as i was just sitting back there tonight and thinking of all of you and just on behalf of our family we've been coming here to this auction for the past i don't know 23 years and many other functions in lancaster county we want to take a moment on behalf of our family and just say thank you thank you so much for the way you've spoken into our life we get spiritual paydays every now and then say what does that mean well there's so many of you that come up to us and just speak words of life words of affirmation at the board meetings this week different board meetings we were having we were reading off testimonies of of lives that were touched changed by the power of god and we are so so grateful we owe it all to the lord jesus christ because without him we are nothing but because of him and him in us he is everything in us by the grace of god and pray for us sometimes people ask us how can we pray for your family can i be honest with you tonight our greatest desire is you can pray for us however the lord leads you to pray but when somebody asks us i will often tell them pray that we would live our life in such a way that there is no hindrance of the fullness of the anointing flowing through that we keep our life in tune with him that's our heart's desire and may he continue to be glorified they're there he was battling with this knowing what he had to go through he who knew no sin he oh father if if you would somehow pass this cup from me would you would you somehow do it but nevertheless not my will but your will be done i believe one of the greatest battles fought and we want to say tonight thank you jesus thank you jesus that you were willing to go through knowing the pain knowing the agony [Music] jesus i used to think that your agony was the nails going through your hands and feet knowing that was coming up but i realized the greater agony was my sin and the sins of the whole world that you were willing to give your life because of your incredible love dying for the sins of the whole world you never tasted sin never knew sin never knew how it even felt to sin but at that moment when you took that upon yourself as you were then hanging on the cross and before you died my god my god why have you forsaken me thank you jesus to take upon yourself [Music] the sins for all of us hallelujah hallelujah jesus that we can be forgiven and someday go to be with you in heaven where we will rejoice and sing and worship you it'll never end there's no time restrictions there's no there's nothing it'll never end then it says that you died you gave up the ghost and when you died oh thank you lord that veil in the temple was opened up and now whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord can be saved the veil opened gave us access right into the presence of god the holy of holies and tonight i thank you that spiritually speaking that veil is still open hallelujah [Music] and you're inviting us to come we thank you that you didn't stay on that cross but then you went to the grave [Music] three days later the power of god came and rolled the stone away and raised you up out of that grave thank you jesus today you're sitting at the right hand of the father interceding for us thank you jesus for the marvelous plan of salvation thank you she not only died for our sins but you gave your life so that we can be made whole from the pain of the past your stripes we are healed spiritually physically emotionally you touch us you clean up our past [Music] and when you do it you do it right so jesus tonight all over this tent could we take a moment just right now just say jesus what do you want to do in my heart tonight or some maybe i don't know if i'm saved or not i don't know if i have a relationship i don't i don't really feel your spirit i don't know that i'm born again part of the family of god it's okay that you feel that way but tonight the holy spirit may be drawing you so gently and drawing you right into a relationship [Music] it's not so much maybe what we pray than the condition of the heart although the word the bible says that if we confess with our mouth the lord jesus believe in our heart that god raised him from the dead we shall be saved it's the only way to get saved is believing by faith that jesus died that he rose again we believe it by faith from our heart not from our head but from our heart we believe it we confess it jesus i believe that you died for me and that you rose again to bring me into fellowship with a holy god that's you tonight would you take a moment to pray god be merciful to me a sinner take a moment to pray hallelujah secondly i know it's so easy to carry burdens around that we're not meant to carry hard things we walk through but thank you jesus that you can identify with every last one of them because you were in all points tempted like as we are and yet without sin you can identify with us thank you jesus tonight no matter what we're facing [Music] it could be in our marriage family relationships [Music] husband wife parents children siblings brothers sisters grandparents co-workers jesus thank you thank you that you understand it all you see everything we walk through [Music] so could we take a moment all together tonight and just take a moment and release what's in our heart the biggest fear the greatest fear the greatest pain that we're facing right now jesus you are you are meant to carry that not us but you're meant to carry that would we take a moment just release it to people said amen and amen hallelujah all right auction committee are you ready to make your way up here okay oh they're still calling people all right well uh hallelujah make their way up here they will be coming and we just we want to take a moment tonight and just um there's a couple special things that are happening right here tonight and one of them of course is the this wonderful new tent that god raised up so many people last year right here in lancaster county and some could have been from out of town as well to raise funds for this new tent we want to take a moment tonight and um just have a special time of prayer um in fact uh nelson could you make your way up here i didn't forewarn you on this but i'm just going to ask you to do this here tonight and i think we'll start with this part of it and then we will uh move on move on from there but you know these people that you're seeing behind us here what an incredible incredible good-looking bunch my goodness what a blessing you're special because of jesus and he made you exactly the way he wanted you what a great great blessing but when you see this event happening this weekend this is the leadership this is the team that god has raised up and about every year two or three couples come off and then they bring on other couples and it just it keeps rotating it keeps rotating and it keeps going and it keeps going and year after year to see the heart the vision the creativity things they bring to us what about this what about that and just a wonderful wonderful team and let them know how much you appreciate their labor of love to the glory of god amen amen and nelson the reason i come over here brother would you the reason that i brought you up here is you know this uh this tent but over the years way back i think it was 1996 when that other tent was purchased and sometime what we would like to do um following this now that we have pictures of the new tent we couldn't take pictures before it was up uh but at some point sometime on social media we would like to put a a picture of the old tent picture of the new tent uh in fact that reminds me of second corinthians 5 17 right old things passed away behold all things have become new not only in tents but in our hearts and in many hearts over the years and i honor i just want to honor the vision of tent meetings i know this weekend is a is a fundraiser but there are many times when this tent was set up over the years and uh a picture people just kneeling they're weeping in the presence of god so god bless you and if there's any word you want to share concerning tent meetings i give you that opportunity then we're going to have a prayer of dedication i'm putting you on the spot and i love every minute of it yeah i know you do you've done it for many years for me right but uh yeah it is you know the memories it seems like in the last five years is when more and more you are here and there and people say at that tent meeting at that tent meeting it was back at that tent meeting and there's where god moved in my life and that's where um you know whether it's the new birth or whether it is somebody repenting on what somebody just a new beginning whatever it may be but it started back there maybe it was children maybe it was adults and those are special moments and every one of us uh you know for me it was in a car somewhere driving down the highway when jesus dealt with my heart where i came to know christ as my savior but it's important that we know when those things when that took place but the memories of people being broken like dave was explaining there's no greater joy there's no greater joy than to see god move and work through the power of the holy spirit drawing people to him and then brokenness takes place because it's only through that brokenness that out of repentance that lives can be restored and redeemed and so it doesn't have to be at a tent meeting because right here this weekend god is moving and working with lives to the glory of god so pray we're going to dedicate but this this tent that that would happen under this tent like it did with the other one for thousands and thousands yes praise god to god be the glory and you know so many of you and many others made it possible now for a brand new tent and the vision actually came this committee they came to us and said you know the tent you remember how it looked and some of the seams were barely staying together and and they came to us we didn't go to them they came to us and we are so so grateful so last year i saw faith rise up can i be honest enough i was kind of holding back in a sense because i felt how how is this going to be because we're already having this huge auction but faith was rising up and this brother right here brother sam was one of those and i'm not just picking him out above everybody else but i admired that great faith that god put in your heart and i know the whole team but i was more in touch with you because you were the chairman at that time and i saw great faith rising up and we are so grateful and this is the result of it and i felt tonight as we were talking just to honor that faith in you and allow you to pray and dedicate this tent to the lord could you do that amen before we pray i just want to say again thank you to you the community for coming out and just pouring out and making this weekend possible and such a great success not just this year but the past years there's a lot of people i would like to recognize here tonight but it would take some time but i do want to thank the committee the auction committee of the former years for making it easy for us to stand on your shoulders and to move forward uh thank you for the seeds that you have sown and uh we're gonna bow our heads to pray here in a minute and if you feel led you can pray out loud with me dave thank you i feel unworthy but i thank you for the friendship that's been formed over
