Owens Corning Basement System Reviews and Basement Experience

okay you're you're coming into our current basement which we are going to be hopefully it's all going to be nice and pretty and bright and we're going to have a transition here when we moved in it was it was this nice big expansive unfinished basement and over the years we've managed to accumulate clutter it and then when the kids came into the house we kind of just pushed the clutter out of the way and put room for a couch and a TV down there we finally decided we want to do something to the basement so it's a real living space down there and you can actually enjoy company down there right now it's okay for just the kids right yeah and that's that's about it but for them to have their own space and mom can have her upstairs space you know and entertain my guests the Owens Corning product I had seen advertised like a few years ago I said oh that looks like a nice system and it was just a fleeting thought because we weren't doing anything at that time we got a postcard and for an open house and it was in town and I said you know let's let's just go and look at it you know and see if it's you know what the product actually looks like and I was more impressed with just the materials it was just gorgeous after seeing friends and family who had horror stories from a finished basement because of water the regular drywall was never really an option even if we we don't flood here but if a pipe broke we didn't want to deal with that just having something that we can go behind the wall that we can get to if we need to and that's not going to have that mold and not going to have those issues was really the only way we would have gone anyway you here's our brand-new great living space from when they first started the whole project only took four and a half days they were cleaned up and we had a finished basement over here they created a nice little closet for us for our sump pump so that we have nice access to it this is just the nicest wall treatment I mean this is just fantastic and the pins that we use for hanging things couldn't be easier David that's straight yeah all of these moldings and all these pieces have the ability to pop out or pop one my wife and I are this is our this is our space it's our family room this is where we relax in the evenings where we have friends over we watch our TV here it's just a nice place and a house to call our own living space it's a living space and I'm so pleased with it I just love the product the quality of this material is just wonderful I love it it's exactly what I wanted for a basement it feels great it's easy to take care of and there's a lifetime warranty on it I mean it doesn't get any better than that
