that you know what we've been building for about a year and not just read brainy new construction that we stick to your doing and how many square feet over there the watch today on the collection here you'll see different boulders ever since 2002 a different uniform we've done the helmet collection started 1972 as Oklahoma we play keys they would trade the helmets out we've got 98 126 teams we had in this league play 98 rebel in 2016 we've also got a history of our new helmets with wood grains to our new updated oh you sad that's another rebranding thing we did to our font has been updated and Counting a little more sleeker these are some of the jerseys that were actually there old museum the old facility and just hadn't found a home yet this Jersey actually isn't as little you think could be it's from the 60s this Jersey was actually a GP Anderson's spring game Jersey if they you know quarterbacks only four blue jerseys so they're not getting here aging with section 5 of my today to here you know he able to get in a spring game so instead of blue jersey they did blue numbers DeMarco Murray Jersey that is from the 2010 season and that the jersey he wore me broke Stevo mustache down rectum and then smashing pea rinds Jersey from 2014 pressing here when he broke the same game rushing record against Kansas 127 yards around here well you decided we needed you know a workspace have our 19 meetings and a lounge for our Steve managers kind of kind of place to kick back with like 15 practices and some cool pieces that we have this trunk here actually was from the 1940s so cleats and one where better store back in the day because you kill their shoes were three pounds apiece they probably a lot faster so again another helmet collection extends down we get into you know more of me just tell you how much time historical value helmets and then we have the lego helmet yeah where the gift from they go from the 20 making 2015 playoffs they did that ball for school is rid of yet from the old Nike ones it wasn't like we could just send all our old uniforms back take the smoosh off and put a jump man on we go into our tech savvy room boys is what it is we can never find a good way for solar pads we designed this system with some PD site baking fill shoulders door lock in hope you're that they're thinking it's the fourth different way we sort of had been by far project we have finished it we put up a bunch of boards over here above our laundry lockers on the process of getting group photos all a student manager 1974 is the only picture we can find up until today I've been cabinet spaces where we can get up to 2030 honestly we've never filmed a school that actually takes so much pride in in the equipment management why is it that you guys are so into the equivalent management aspect feels like you know we're just a big public program yeah we reinvest our passion back into the athletes that we're here to serve them you know you know one thing is you leave you know walk out to the practice that's nothing you see every day keep reminder right here we've got our recruiting display but also just you know that that activates our staff who's getting something out here with our little Wars you know they get the jacket the first year and watch the second year like the third year and the o-ring yeah when they when they graduate they're Jordan 11 retro cleats that will wear on game days you see we've got that woodgrain pattern in into there as well you know there's something to make it more unique to Oklahoma you have the Sooners on the tag there we have our oud na logo inside there and then obviously guys really connect with to have a gentleman and have the 23 on the back so you have the iridescent bottom the best comments I've ever heard on the shoe was never heard of the dark never ever gonna like so they're doing one through thirty that we're seeing here will they all get this as well no that is just something Jordan sins that of glass and thanks to players and we also have the eleven in a low as well you know the skill guys that that may not want the mid and there's one cool thing that they did that Jordan did for it was hacking last year that's in the elements we've done got the last piece of equipment as it comes down just put all three helmets on display begin to put the updated oh you we got that boomer sooner on the gloves kind of updated that refresh in that a little bit and and the Jordan clubs as well as we continue our tour here into our recovery pools into our locker room and just our brand and great facility it's gonna be continued on by Blake Kenzie associate director of equipment here at Lu all right Blake is that a party pool back there yeah it is you can see our former quarterback tight end Blake Bell the bell dozer in there he's getting in the cold tub here so yeah it's our recovery pools these are all Americans here since his first team all-american since 2000 we got their numbers with the photos in the background here we're the only school that holds all the major college bowl game championships and the national championship so we're going into the locker room here I've heard a lot of facilities have the I we've got the finger touched pump in here push it down here's a button click access granted welcome in locker room here state-of-the-art pretty proud of this Brad and Adam myself had a lot of input obviously we're big time user along with the players right here on all the Crimson part is all dry race so they'll break in by position in different parts of the locker room so each guy gets a photo taken here this raises up all the cords and power built into the locker here so you'll never see anything that way which is nice we've got our shoulder pad rack with our glove rack because it's all ventilated through the top in the back here brought in our affinity oh pattern here this is kind of the pattern you'll see out throughout the building when the architect came in here they developed the Infinity Oh meaning Oklahoma football and Oklahoma mathletics that would stop it goes on for infinity so the Oh was invented and then we made it look like it's going on forever each guy can sit down here relax chill I can sit do what they need to do made this nice and short for them so they can interact with their teammate yeah well they're not just hidden in our locker room our guys are all spread out so it's not done by position by class or anything you get to know all your teammates flip this up flip this down so we gave the guys 6 hooks so everything's hidden back here give them ability to they're a mess if they want to or they can be clean and neat this will keep ad behind here it's got two USBs and two power sources like Brad said we give them an iPad when they get on a campus that's how they have their plays and everything so they can keep everything locked and stored there one of my favorite features that we designed is the pullout shoe dryer shoes sit on here they suck back into there and then a ventilation system helps to clean them and keep the smell out this is our player side here where they can do whatever they want and then our equipment staff this is locked but we keep all their game stuff in there then lastly on gameday this sits here in Hook's Jersey and shoulder pads are displayed here what's then you can see through the helmet this way so players lounge ear right off the locker room this is where they can come hang out play video games sleep relax eat they got xbox ps3 in here we got Golden Tee over here over Ladakh it's just whatever they want come over here you and I can shoot some hoops so we got sixty arcade games you can come in here and play and then we come in here and get your hair cut barber shop that's right we'll bring him up and he'll call him give him his speech and then he'll break them down and we'll hit music and our lights and flash and guys will walk out this way to the game and I'm walking by the Heisman Trophy winners they're walking by our big 12 championship signs so now we're headed to the high premier where they exit out to the field and welcome to 30,000 square feet at all new racks they've got built-in cameras I've had work out there built-in right there come over to the turf field here this is only for training purposes walk throughs we'll put our iPads up they'll use this screen we also have lasers built into the turf here we're guys gonna run their 40 and then it opens up out here to an open garage door where you can run outside all right I want to bring you into the heart of the facility here this is the outside of the grand lobby we've got our Jordan branding up here so let's go in and take a look at the trophies and everything let's talk a little swag here so
