[Music] alright here's a new rig it is a cyclone Heartland cyclone 4270 so we'll go over some of the features of this thing and why we chose it I'm sure my wife will have different reasons than me and why we chose it so we'll cover those as well we do have two very different perspectives but we agreed on this so that tells you something so obviously most notable is the two porches this is the ramp in the toy hauler it is a toy hauler this is the ramp for getting your ATVs whatever a little golf cart wherever you might have back there get that down and that will disconnect from those cables and the ramp will drop all the way down to the ground it has these retracting steps manually retracting steps now that will probably be an upgrade item at some point this door because this rear rear area will probably be where we set up the play area for the kids that door is probably gonna be locked 95% of the time so not too worried about upgrading the rear steps at this time but we will this unit comes with auto leveling it's indicated right there the lippert level up on the leveling system all three axles on here are 7,000 pound axles for a total of 21,000 pounds does have the CRE 3000 which is adequate but that will be an upgrade along with the heavy-duty shackle kit at some point the stock tires it comes with these are g-rated tires and again shot of the side porch your spare is right here holds one spare on here this is your compartment for it's your garbage you can access that underneath the counter so you can drop your garbage right there and then you can remove it from outside of the cabin which is pretty nice and there's a lock for that as well so that you can make sure nobody can get in there when you don't want them to take the awnings down if your hot water the outside storage on this unit is not great it's not that much storage on the outside so this is a storage Bay a through-and-through but as you can see it's got the sewage pipe right there and then it's got a lot of your controls here so we got a solar charge controller there we have our auto leveling central control system there got cable hookups we've got it's a hot water heater disconnect so we got a lot of stuff in there that you're gonna want to get access to but you can't really use it as storage too much because you're gonna be blocking those things you want to get access to so I guess if you're out on the road you can throw some things down there but really it's pretty poor that's alright I'll show you where you can make up for that propane tank number one we're also you can access the front leveling jacks if you have a hydraulic hose rupture or anything like that and this regulator regulates both tanks you can see in their dark but I'm gonna just have one on at a time that way I know when I run out I do have the backup you can't keep them both open it's at the same time and it will pull from them evenly not sure that's gonna be recommended because you might find yourself out of air or out of propane before you know it just says what they call tight turn technology which doesn't really matter for me because I haven't you put that but if you have a short bed it could work for you and as is the case in most fifth wheels this is your gen compartment and it comes with the typical Onan 5500 which 90% come with some kind of Onan Cummins generator this is gas i have a residential fridge so that comes with the Magnusson it's your inverter so my fridge will only run off of electric it'll not run off yes this is also where your hydraulic fluid for your auto leveling and any other features like your slides that might need it and then full access to the auto leveling hydraulic system is back here as well so it needs to get serviced it's pretty open down here to service this is where your batteries are right up here it's locked up that is your front auto-leveling now this is handy because it's right on the front of the rig so when you're taking it on and off your truck makes for easy visibility of doing that but if you have a fault here it has to be cleared on that first Auto leveling system I showed you down in the bay you can't clear a fall from this this unit has two slides as you can see this is a 2019 cyclone 4270 this is the biggest unit cyclone makes at 44 feet this particular unit has a unloaded vehicle weight of 17,000 217 pounds so two slides on this unit it's got the porches on the other set are in the back and on the other side so no slides on the other side of the unit does not come with those awning toppers slide toppers there so I had those installed since we were here we're gonna be doing a lot of our being and we're gonna be in one spot for a long period of time generally speaking I'm not going to go you know two days somewhere then pick up and move and blah blah blah so this just makes it easier have these awnings on here leaves keeps moisture off the back keeps Sun wear from the top of the slide all that good stuff so it's just something you really want to have anything that can help protect the unit especially the slides because those tend to be a more finicky weak point of an RV and then down here I will let you know what the numbers are on that on those awnings as well there's your water system and you hook up and get your tank dry camp winner sander when winterize and sanitized and then your city water as well you just rotate that handle is needed and then this these little caps come off right here this captain there's one underneath as well for running your hoses through you need a screen for that to keep wash out this is the opposite side of the bay can't really see too much of that like I said not a lot of room right here we've to the sewer handles you can't access these with the slide in this is underneath out of the slide here and if you want to get to those Blackwater handles in grey tank handle this valve or this little cover here let you get to those while the slide is in this particular unit did come with a couple extras part of that was having three air conditioning units black piece on the front I can zoom in that is your antenna and it does sit lower than your AC units so itself to get an exact height of the AC units from the ground as well as the handle above there on the ladder to get onto the roof there's a one-piece roof with one piece walkable roof one thing I noticed about Heartland is they did upgrade their frame warranty to three years and I think that was to compete because a few years back he used to be everybody was one or two years on frame in structure and now you're seeing more and more you know just to be competitive jump up to three years which is very very good because I think about ten years ago 12 years ago there were some frame issues with Lippert so I think they want to try to bring consumer confidence back this is one feature I like is where the cord comes out the electric cord flips on up here it does have that little notch but this is electric so whines and unwinds with this right here retract so that is nice to keep that a little more organized than the old school ones like I had on them rigged six or seven years ago is just a cord I had to tie up and throw in a tote underneath here your two fuel tanks ones for the generator this is generator and this is for your toys your toy gas tank if you have your gas-powered ATVs dirt bikes whatnot and there's your pump so if your boondocking you can fill this up even if you don't have any toys which we don't you can fill this tank up and your gen tank up and then you can just move fuel from your backup tank over to your gen tank gives you quite a bit more life out of that this is a clean-out Bureau's sanitize the waste water tank there [Music] here's the ladder to get on the roof you just remove the pins there at the bottom pins at the bottom comes down a couple of these screws are a little loose so I told them then you did come through there again and make sure those are all tight note so I don't fall that'll just collapse on down and you can get on the roof awesome feature here is the rear porch which I think most of the time will be occupied by our dogs just to give them a spot to be outside when we don't want to make a pen form so they'll have a spot to sit out in the Sun keep them out of the rig it's his whole porches a more right system to see the more right steps this will hook onto the back which I can't do right now cuz I got this elevated fill here but this opens and closes pretty easily one person can easily do it I think this porch is rated for 3,000 pounds with the cables pretty sure that's what it's at so you shouldn't have to worry about time any issues with that holding weight and then it does have a rear awning here as well and they're mounting a camera on the back for me it is pre-wired for it but they're mounting a camera on the back because they accidentally gave my fifth wheel hitch to somebody else so I'm waiting on the other fifth wheel hitch to come in this afternoon so I can get that installed so I will have a backup camera on there which I'm grateful for because I did forget to order that ahead of time it's a basic whole walk around to the outside of the vehicle let's go on inside [Music] all right so inside the unit here this is the kitchen this is one of the reasons that we decided on this rig is because the layout was very open where I am standing let me turn around here show you that so it's got a very nice open area so if we were cooped up for weather or something like that we're not going to feel like we're on top of each other and then it flows out into the patio which is very nice to have that you can just walk her out here have your cup of coffee whatever you need to do and then this opens up I mean at this TV I think I left something on speakers we're still playing something out of this so this is nice to have for sure you just set up a little table out here catch TV you have a little mini-fridge down here that does not work when the unit is not hooked up so don't leave anything in that's perishable until you're parked at a space and in here it's just a outdoor little storage area you can put some stuff at night down there so grip tape is going to get replaced here along the edge got tore up this was probably at am at a show or something like that to get opened up quite a bit it was the last one on the lot so it doesn't surprise me there's a little bit of ding there but not a big deal get that replaced and this locks into place here everything needs a little bit of silicone I think and then you have your outdoor speakers here I'm going to go ahead and pull out the awning so you can see that this is the indoor control panel got your slide outs there you get your awning here that goes over the porch all your sensors for your black water gray water or your battery your freshwater tank the floodlights on the outside porch lights ceiling lights on the inside of the cab generator gas tank level and that little panel right there will tell you what kind of electricity you're pulling so they'll say service 50 amp light does now put the plug into 50 it will say generator or no service or service 30 amp which everyone hooked up to so we're going to go ahead and [Music] Nerys so this awning will cover your front door entrance and most immediate technically cover the whole patio but you're only over the patio a few inches on this side so it might be worth it to get a little velcro well something so you can put up a little wall there in case rain does start coming down because it will come in here and I'm afraid it might come inside on to this TV once this is fully extended out so that might be something we want to address and just to make you aware of it as well not much overhang on this side of the patio but over here you'll be perfectly fine by the door even if it's slightly raining outside you shouldn't have any problem with any rain getting inside the unit from the slider but just be aware that that TV might be compromised a little bit if it's raining hard and the wind is blowing so I do the ACS going a little bit loud in here so I apologize for that we'll start in the bedroom and then come back down now this is not like I said this is not our the perfect rig I think the only way to get a perfect rig is if you go to like a custom builder and you have it done yourself which gets very expensive very quick we would like the bed to be facing east and west because that gives generally gives you a large closet in the cab space or in the front and the front cap there but on this unit that's not the case it's running north and south which is fine you know it's one of those compromises we had to make does have good storage above the unit here or above the bed I'm sorry it's about 16 15 16 inches deep and it extends the whole length there a little deeper cabinet here for larger items you have a thermostat here so you're in bed you can adjust that and then your little night table nightstand end table here that does have three small drawers in it this is a queen mattress I believe now you can see there I've got about six inches of space so we will put a king in because our kids sometimes the middle of night I'm sure they're gonna run in here and want to lay in between us and they get pretty crowded I'm sure no TV tucked in here in the upper corner we do have a through-and-through bathroom here so this comes around and then through which is nice and that door will stay like that kind of be a partition there as well but this is one reason we like this rig was because it had it tough our kids are young they don't want to take showers they don't like the water over their face especially our son doesn't like the water going over his face so that's a tub here that's about 13 inches deep or so you can it's it's perfect for one for one of the kids at a time you know you might be able to squeeze both in here if they really wanted to but that was a big selling point of the rake was that did have that tub ready to go and nice skylight so you get plenty of light coming in here does have a vent this is a manual vent little push button here at the top and then a manual crank open we don't have caps on this yet so if that was all the way open we could get rain in something we'll need to address the medicine cabinets it's not terribly shallow about four and a half five inches so plenty for your bathroom products and then two more drawers down here that are functional and then you're underneath also get access to your water declines and toilet on here is porcelain sometimes you have something that is a little less quality like a plastic composite material so it's good to have an actual real porcelain toilet coming back out we have [Music] the master closet area here it will suffice it's not brilliant it's not great but the drawers are deep here [Music] so we'll make it work his-and-hers but more so hers and a little bit it is everything except three of those drawers underneath and then underneath the bed is wide open so you can't store it anyway decent shot of this underneath again [Music] you're wide open under the bed so you can stick some extra stuff in there as well shut this TV off those lights all right now stepping down the living room big selling point was not just the open space here but it was the kitchen cabinetry and storage that is out here in this room so obviously spending a lot of time the RV there'll be a lot of time using the kitchen storage all the way around is fairly deep if anybody's familiar with RVs it's not always easy to get adequate kitchen storage and this was pretty darn good it's pretty deep goes all the way around the corner there these cabinets are adequate should be able to find a spot and we have more above the fridge and these are extra deep it's great all the way down we've got storage goes all the way down inside of the refrigerator there then here this is little media cabinet all it's got in there right now it's a DVD player now where these stools are there's one thing this rig is missing is a fireplace we didn't want a fireplace so doesn't have a fireplace but that's almost a perfect cutout to put a fireplace and it does have a plug down here so what we are going to do is we're gonna get a fireplace that can plug in right there and then we'll get a little bit of heat from the electric fireplace I know it's not a huge deal to have that but for us staying when you get chilly nights it's gonna be nice to have a little electric heat fireplace here take the edge off counter tops we're all nice and solid good kitchen fixtures here nice aluminum sink it's a very nice oven very happy with that oven and a three burner gas stove top which we definitely want it we do not want to electric the microwave which we'll never use because we don't use the microwave you in our own house it's alright then you have a little area you could shove some stuff up there we have things to use sparingly and then of course the TV facing the couch which is nice it's not way on the end where you're in kind of a weird position and that brings us to the coat closet which is shallow but you know you can pile four or five coats in here and then up top you want to put some gloves hats paperwork something else up there you can't and then screen door front door there down here is central vac so you just sweep your dirt over here put kick that little flap down and it'll start sucking everything pour it out [Music] the cabinetry is not too dark I'm not sure if we're gonna how much we're gonna modify it it's light enough in here with the floors not being very dark that I don't think we're gonna have to paint the cabinets we're thinking about going white originally but there's so much sunlight that comes in here and I've got these closed these blackout shades are fully closed use another little cabinets that are nice to have I've got all the blackout shades down and it's still plenty light in here so I think we're not gonna have to worry too much about that right now more storage above the soundbar there [Music] and residential fridge on this unit which is nice big I believe it's 22 cubic feet on this your typical propane and electric I think is an eighteen eighteen point something so it's a little larger however you will have to use that inverter I showed earlier in the video make sure that is on while you're going down the road that your refrigerator stays cold says a nice feature heading back to the garage area here you'll end up having quite a bit of storage back here I'm sure [Music] that is my old pin box and as you can see with the rigor that's gonna be pushing 20,000 pounds that's just steel on steel and that was going to make for a very rough ride so that had to go but that's what came on so know that you'd probably want to upgrade that assuming you were to get this new rear TV [Music] washer and dryer hookup below not enough time you have not enough room for a double there but you'd have to go with one of those units that does both we're gonna try to go without we'll be staying at nicer facilities at least on this first leg so we should be able to have plenty of facilities on site and a laundry another thermostat back here this is a little half bath you catch these little sinks here these are plastic so it's not a porcelain sink so we'll see how durable that ends up being meeting back here with the kids I don't think I'll need to upgrade that but if you didn't need to it's an easy pop put a new one in a little bit of storage right here that is not a medicine cabinet that's just a mirror so there's no storage above the sink there you do have a window and then this nice thing about this wall got stuff in the way right now so now I'm gonna do it but you pulled this pin down and this whole thing slides back locks above the door so we're gonna probably do that quite a bit because it's in blocks off this door here and we don't worry about the kids messing with that or going out that door create like another little level of defense back here and then something that I'll probably only get used if our father comes my father comes otherwise we'll probably miscellaneous admin to my knee who's your stereo this is your rear awning and your backside on there's the bed lift controls and then various light switches here for laces Ranjan area this is pretty that we'll use and then of course [Music] bed on top it's wrapped in plastic and then you have the two couches so these will all go down to the down I'm not going to take them all the way down and set it back up but those will come down bed comes down it would stop at about the top of the window and then the couches will remain coming down until they get to a position for you to put them into the either turn them from a bed into two couches or leave them as a bed for more sleeping arrangement areas these are vents above the door so if you are you have vehicles out here you can get some bypass air through there [Music] another vent down here cross freeze but of course you can always just open these up as well I have the glass in the glass slides down all the way so that this whole top area will be a screen but all of its glass right now and then these that just slides in like that and then if you want to open the door all the way up sorry the Sun is probably gonna block this out guys but there's a pin up there please for now it does come with two sets of patio steps one is out there right now and that one's there hands underneath my feet that's gonna be for the side porch rattling on top there the other railing will go in on the other set of steps all right so the railing is in now to do is close this up they're locked door locks [Music] last thing to do just go and put these here [Music] so that's what it looks like when you're going down the road I locked up
