Orsinium For Free In ESO! Why Are People Complaining?

what's popping everybody welcome back this is a common sentiment I've been seeing a lot of people having and well I don't want to say a lot of people so there's obviously a very vocal minority especially on the forums I think the forums can tend to be kind of ass sess pool the subreddit in my opinion is a little bit more representative of the average player in ESO and tends to have a lot more people talking on it in my opinion um I I don't have the numbers for that but it seems that way there's a lot more divver opinions and things being discussed whether that's from new players to older players to whatever I feel like the people on the forums are typically people that have enough invested in the game to like really leave their opinion and do that and it typically is negative where I feel like I see a lot more positivity and stuff on the subreddit so something that's been coming up on the forums a lot recently is this idea that people are kind of pissed that orsinium is being offered as the DLC and that we're not given a choice um I wanted to make this video because I think it's important to say that that's absolutely um brain rot it's I mean that's just such a terrible terrible way to look at what we're being given this month now I'm definitely on board with there are things about um the implementation of events and things that happen in the Elder schs online by zenx that I don't agree with and y'all have heard it in the videos that I've made and stuff like that but a objectively this is an incredible month and probably the best month I've ever seen or can even remember from a daily rewards perspective we're getting a DLC on the second day of the month whether or not you have it doesn't matter the fact that they're giving out a full DLC for free especially for new players or people that maybe don't have ESO plus anymore because they can't afford it or whatever that's incredible and like they don't do that very often I mean I can't even remember if they've even ever done that before they may have done it one time before this but giving out a DLC on the second day is insane not only that are we getting that this month we are getting a free amount in the daily rewards we're getting I believe 10 scale colar Crown crates I don't like the crown crates and I never want people to buy them but getting them for free is a totally different subject you're getting Crown gems at the very least for free and a lot of people are getting mounts which is fantastic we're getting a combat pet we're getting a whole bunch of crafting materials on top of that if you're an ESO plus member I just made a a video yesterday about this you're able to get three costumes and another Mount so two mounts three costumes 10 scale collar crates a DLC and a non-combat pet the fact that anybody is complaining is insane and it just goes to show that this is every single game but you're never going to please everybody and there's always going to be something that somebody's going to complain about now a lot of the arguments that I'm seeing are that it is basically one of the oldest DLCs and most people have it or that it is basically they wanted like another reward to choose from people are saying when you have such a big thing like that they want choices I don't think that's the case it's a daily login reward you are doing nothing you're doing nothing to get it you are logging into the game there is no no reason for us to have a whole breadth of choices to choose from from the daily login rewards you're literally logging in doing absolutely nothing and then you can log out and you're just getting the DLC I think it's ridiculous that people are complaining um the reason that they are doing that what's in update 41 right what's an update 41 the two dungeons that are inspired by other things in the game what is it right it's all about malath and orsinium for one and then we've got male elrom and Fu hen it is literally orcish themed for half of that DLC so us getting a month where we get orc themed mounts the orc or orsinium or rothgar DLC we're getting rewards for completing achievements in Orum it is all themed around the DLC and I don't think people are connecting the dots there that are complaining I'm not saying a lot of people are complaining but I think it's really important when we see members of the community doing stuff like this that is just blatantly ridiculous that we call it out because this is the time where we want to praise what Zas is doing this is incredible and everything that they do needs to either be met with positive or negative feedback if something is objectively bad like the communication over the past year they need to be called out on if something is objectively good meaning the amount of things that they are giving us this month this is when we thank them we say thank you so much for doing this and we praise them because just like with an animal or anything if someone does something right you're supposed to positively reinforce that right so the people that are complaining about this are absolutely insane and so that's what this post is about on Reddit and I wanted to kind of go through it and see some of the comments and just talk about them don't want to make this too long of a video right um to the so I get punished for buying orsinium players so we get nothing you get a free Mount and three costumes for having the associated achievements if you already had the DLC they're in the featured shop therefore anyone that can get the achievements for a limited time stop complaining agreed right on top of that I didn't even think about this I literally totally forgot and ESO plus players are getting the scribes of aelia deluxe edition which comes with a mount and a pet on the 22nd what are we complaining about so they're literally saying hey you have ESO plus well you're going to have orsinium through that but as a reward we're going to go ahead and give you the collector's edition or the deluxe bundle for free this month is literally insane it is so good I haven't complained about it I'm happy people get a DLC for free I do feel a little unlucky that orsinium is the only DLC I've bought though um well I mean that's pretty normal considering it's one of the oldest DLCs it's not like they randomly drew it out of a hat it's all thematically tied to update 41 and this is where I was saying I don't think people are getting that if you actually stay in touch with kind of what's going on in the game and the updates that are coming out zos does everything for a reason things are tied to other things they're not just in a vacuum just giving us orenia right it's because we have a Malachi theme dungeon coming out which includes malstrom Arena which is literally the other thing right you've got Maelstrom and you've got Malika right and together all of those themes are seen in orsinium so I think it's pretty incredible regardless right or is like 8 years old I'm not losing sleep over someone getting it for free that's what I'm saying played through the DLC a couple years ago playing it again on a new tune I think it's actually really cool they did this it brought a bunch of new people into the zone and it really adds to that we invited a bunch of people to the region theme that the DLC starts with 100% and it's actually the other thing too is it's got to be from a story perspective from a Content perspective like all of that stuff even just a for just talking about the story it's top three best in the game's history so even though it is older it you are getting so much value out of this right the DLC came out almost a decade ago if people are genuinely upset that they paid for it then they need to seek therapy amen dude amen I bought a Cream Egg an hour ago I've eaten it now so do I get nothing for buying a Cream Egg yeah so pretty much everyone's like saying that so if you see like negative sentiment about this in the forums on Reddit and game just know it's a very vocal minority there's a lot of people in this game that are extremely happy about this most people a vast vast majority of the players in this game are extremely happy about this addition so again thank you zos we really appreciate it don't listen to the naysayers that's ridiculous um and you know this being the 10th year anniversary on top of that this is the kind of stuff that I think I was expecting in the beginning of the year not necessarily expecting DLC for free or something like that but like revisiting you know old content and giving back to the players that have been there for 10 years I think that's great and I really appreciate it and I hope youall do too please show your appreciation to the devs
