Why do they slow the water towards the end? To prevent erosion?
If they made it a few hundred metres longer you'd have an epic waterslide!
For a while I was thinking it was a wasted opportunity that nobody was on an air mattress for that, but the end bit...
I remember this was one of those times where I don't want anyone to get hurt. I don't want anyone to lose their home. But I really wanted to see a giant dam fail.
I feel cheated that there was no sound for when the water met the end.
This reminded me of the Jack Nicholson comedy "The Shining".
