[Music] all right this is Oracle of Seasons randomizer archipelago Edition and we are playing on the new release version 6.0 which has just released today uh it's a lot different than what you've uh the versions that have been out being called this is going to allow for better Min updates instead of like one big update over all the time uh big big change for this version is we now have access to key sanity so key sanity is a thing we are going to be able to choose whether we want the small Keys boss Keys maps and Compasses individually um as well as something called a master key so master keys essentially are okay are like the skeleton key that can open up any door uh it's it's essentially a combined key that is a profit right there so it's a it's a combined key which is uh which we turned on for today we're also turned on key sanity so every dungeon is only going to have one small key for us to get spin ring we don't want that but I do want this Compass compasses are very vital uh they are going to give us access to things also thing to note the alternate entrance is gone as well as yeah we have access to a new new randomization options here also the way to warp back to start is different so it it's going to take me a little bit to get used to [Music] okay so we got bombs I can use those bombs in here [Music] so hopefully defeat all four of these [Music] [Music] and that got me a compass [Music] cool so the compasses are going to be good uh we're not going to be able to make much progress in dungeons right now [Music] I probably should have come and done this first [Music] mushroom and I should probably also check how many Essences we need again it's randomized like a lot of things here are going to be randomized we need five to beat the game it's good to rout dungeon okay so master keys do not say which dungeon they are for that is interesting to note but yeah now we can make some more progress in D1 which is always good uh I'm gonna I'm gonna show off something really interesting that's new you can now call Demitri okay yeah that's not a good not a good way to show that off but you can now call Demetri inside sunken city uh same thing with the other companions I believe so you don't have to go outside and a screen North or whatever you can just come [Music] there though that was kind of buggy because of the the way it works [Music] so yeah I think we might as well just Mark everything as default winter just because it probably is oh we have the mushroom too we can go ahead and turn that in right away [Music] and got me a bracelet the new entrance thing so Heroes cave is now able to be shuffled in with dungeon Shuffle as well as removing the stairs and removing the drop down so the the stairs here outside of D2 is an option and then the drop down outside of Hero's cave is also an option uh you can leave them which also sounds really interesting uh D5 here is interesting [Music] okay all right or do do I have to do it that way I'm not sure which way I need to do it [Music] cuz both of them don't really make sense I guess I guess it makes more sense to do it the way I had [Music] it or no the that unicorn's cave is at D2 entrance right like that's the way I would assume it should work all right what do we got here Market has a master key for D2 at 50 and compass for eight at 100 not getting those anytime soon I'll uh there is an option to oh always have the potion in the shop um for the normal price of 300 rupees uh but it would always be in the town shop I didn't turn that on for today because I didn't really want to I want to keep those random items [Music] available and more often than not we don't actually utilize the potion [Music] but it is good for like if you're doing a seed where you know you're going to be low on health you know you're not going to be fully equipped having access to a potion at all times is pretty good even if you have to grind 300 rupees potentially to get it all right I'm going to come up here I'm going to check this portal we're going to do dancing we're going to make our way [Music] around okay [Music] I'm just going to check this I just want to check what this portal is it's the dungeon and what dungeon is it going to be D6 [Music] okay interesting there's not much you can do in D6 so I'm just going to quickly just check front [Music] three oh shovel yeah the the Power Glove does speed up the pot pushing it's marginal though it's not like insanely fast but it does speed up the amount of time it takes to actually move like anytime you're pushing something there's like that little bit of cool down or like little bit of startup right where you push against it for x amount of frames and then it starts to move but uh with the power glove that startup is a lot lower so you ultimately end up feeling like you're pushing it much much [Music] faster but it's really handful of frames here but considering how many pots you have to push it's a it respective dungeon during key sanity so you you want to get compasses [Music] uh master keys are a new thing it's like the key rings from like ocarine of time or like Minish Cap where you get multiple keys in this in this case you end up getting every key for a respectful dungeon which is a little much uh I think key Rings like customizable key ring sizes would be nice but we're probably not quite there yet so essentially think of it as like in any key for a specific dungeon you get one key and then it can open up every door except uh if you only set it to small Keys it's only going to open up the small key doors but you can also set it to also open up the boss key door too oh Dragon key that's very useful right now cuz we're heading right there [Music] all right that's just more [Music] slowly so apparently I can't move prop [Music] all right so ideally we find the boss key in here oh yeah another thing that has been changed is no more icicle dropping cutcenes [Music] so this this area gets sped up a little [Music] bit not a lot but it definitely helps this area was already pretty terrible [Music] all right so we go back beat [Music] D7 beat D4 [Music] beat D5 okay we're in go mode we just have to beat some dungeons all right that [Music] works let's see we'll start with four four is pretty easy so of course everything was just in the back of the8 [Music] right like why would we why wouldn't we have to go through the entirety of the worst dungeon in the game just to get Argo mode [Music] [Music] [Music] h [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] now if we happen to get the boss key for three while we're you know doing this stuff I think three is probably the best Dungeon to [Music] do but yeah five is going to be quick seven shouldn't be too bad like we can literally just run through it [Music] w [Music] a [Music] [Music] oh I'll grab that thank [Music] you there's a lot of potions in the item pool which I'm kind of grateful for but at the same time you don't really need that many potions all right seven was at [Music] [Music] D1 no reason to do Post skip like I just run I'll just run through this I don't even need to check that really I guess I could in case it's like Master Sword or something actually yeah let's do that real quick it's the only like thing that I might want [Music] Master Sword or like a red ring red ring would be good too but yeah we really don't need to do much [Music] we've already done most of this dungeon like to begin with [Music] now we just Blitz to the end [Music] [Music] w [Music] [Music] h [Music] [Music] uh might as well check this one it's right here [Music] oh there's a key here and it's the boss key for three [Music] yeah we have now obtained five Essences it's time to go beat up on [Music] onyx for [Music] I [Music] I'm not sure if I like having the any key for key sanity or like just in general I think I mean probably needs to give it a couple plays [Music] but key sanity I think a lot of it revolves around making multiple trips into dungeons because you're getting extra keys each and making a little bit more progress each time when you're able to just kind of go in and do what like the entirety of the dungeon minus the boss [Music] or you go in and you can do what do I have yeah I don't have much ringwise you can go in you can't do anything because there's no keys you can get like the first couple checks then leave I definitely like that uh [Music] boss keys are separate from small Keys like being able to separate them really helps [Music] [Music] I think we need to do like a full key sanity like eight [Music] Essences he Essence is uh ungrouped Keys The Works kind of thing to really test how this works with all these settings yeah let's let's go uh beat up genon real quick I'm really interested to see how uh twin r that goes without the overpowered foor that's kind of why I I nerfed it cuz I want to see how it goes cuz the the last couple times we fought twin Roba has been very very easy you want to have at least a little bit of challenge coming in here all right we'll do a save [Music] I still dislike this first phase this first phase is kind of awful I don't know if there's really a good way to set it up all right there's one there's two there's three okay I think just standing in the middle does kind of work now yeah if you use the sword you get knocked back but if you look at this you don't get any knockback when you have the foor out so it's still pretty solid even though it takes a little bit more time like it does do a lot of damage and not having the knock back is the key here like that's the key component what makes spor actually really good for this fight if you had to use the sword it it's a lot harder just because you get so much knockback [Music] [Music] yeah g fight not too terrible you can get a good amount of hits in every time [Music] [Music] w w [Music] [Music] [Music] okay cool not too bad pretty easy fight overall and that finishes our adventure here we save Princess Zelda in a time of 2 hours 21 minutes and 2 seconds like that's still pretty pretty decent amount of a chunk of time for a a run with five Essences right like five Essences key sanity I mean ultimately we were what two items from finishing the game [Music] completely and like our remaining dungeons we we cleaned out three already we cleaned out eight already it was just six six was the only thing that we had to go in and do because we didn't have [Music] keys yeah overall I think this was interesting I'm not completely sold on the master [Music] keys the new additions are pretty cool like including Heroes cave into the dungeon Shuffle is awesome like it gives us an early dungeon essentially more often than not um obviously it does mean there's one cave just randomly in the the game that has like three or four items in it and then that's it you're expecting a dungeon and then you get just a couple items kind of feels bad I kind of want to play around with turning on the stairs and the drop cuz then that gives you access to D2 potentially and Hero's cave regardless of where you are and just kind of see how that plays around could be really [Music] interesting I mean ultimately it it would just mean that you get access to the hero's cave super early compared to where it actually is and and then you get access to D2 potentially early oh no that's something to try next time [Music] [Applause] [Music] probably otherwise I feel like most of the changes are pretty good uh tracker seemed to work pretty well overall um only thing I noticed was that the flute didn't uh Mark itself auto track but that's very Miner thing just click it and you're good [Music] but yeah we really didn't get to utilize I oh yeah I didn't even utilize the maps that well I I should have looked at the maps probably to figure out where dungeons were and then compasses didn't really get to much play either uh towards the end a little bit but we didn't we didn't really utilize him that much mostly because of the the key situation where uh we had the master keys so there was only one key for each dungeon definitely want to try it again with uh without the master key situation and see how that plays but yeah this was fun I hope you enjoyed watching some more archipelago Oracle of Seasons I'll definitely do more of these so make sure
