Opening ¥9400 of Mystery Japanese Pokemon Card-Cubes

[Music] saving money for the future good credit buying things I need I sleep children's playing cards not real [ __ ] real [ __ ] okay all right guys I've got some stuff which I have opened in the past what does that mean it means like a little cotton bud look on look on Japanese packs we've got all Japanese vintage packs if you're lucky and you go to Japan you might be able to find some of these they sort of get a [ __ ] ton of old cards together wrap some plastic around them and then they're slap a price tag on them and this one's four thousand five hundred yen now I have heard that the ones they're doing nowadays are a little bit less super value than they used to be they're great for me opening videos and I'm [ __ ] super keen to get stuck into I'm just to look at it and there's a very beautiful muck from fossil set there but I have heard nowadays some of these are nowhere near as good value as they as they used to pack all right this is gonna be a bit more of a nerdy video than a crazy one we've got the two different this is the newer back this is the old Japanese back let's just see let's see what these two oh [ __ ] there's ones that are just in sleeves okay so I'm assuming they just get lots of pre-owned players cards and they sort of just package them up Oh what the goddamn hell sparkly set is this from some weird Victini set number nine of 21 this is why I love opening these then we're gonna really nice a spec I again if you're new to this channel any prices popping up that's research I've done and the price I've determined in Australian dollars when I'm editing the video right now I have absolutely no idea I know ace spec cards some of them can be worth a lot some of them are garbage alright here we go now we're going to get the the maybe the brunt of it just a bunch of more normal stuff now this is one of these glossy ones from the vending machines I think there is another one there is another one you'll notice some of them have very weird art there you go some sort of smashed head Voltorb see being put to death because this electro buzz looks very shady alright don't there's another one and then we've got all back to the normal cars we've got a rockets wheezing this is one of the funnest things for me to do then we have OH Erika's vileplume I think then up next no Nidoking three for three [ __ ] al is an original neato King they're Japanese we've got a bay leaf no it's a magnesium magnesium okay this this pack has a lot more holographics than I was bargaining for then we've got an electro buzz again I think from this vending machine set okay we're still got a bunch in this single 4,500 yen pack huge shout out to Merryweather for picking up half of these plus a [ __ ] ton more and another big thanks to my girlfriend who got the other half a long time ago it's a bit of a mix in here let's just flip these around and see what we're dealing with okay some newer stuff a dratini but it is from a weird subset there's only 20 cards in this we'd set these look crazy though dragon air Dragonite [ __ ] and then we've got um Keldeo which is a black and white promo sorry guys the commentary might be a little dry on this i'm just awestruck this is like my absolute favourite thing to do I've been sitting on these for ages and I'm so happy I'm getting to open them there's an inner Queen which is reverse we've got Rayquaza we've got high drag on and then we've got this weird slurping [ __ ] don't pretend you eat apples alright let's get let's let's let's see what this little one in the middle is Oh what's this dr. Anna Tom I had this in English this is what a card that I remember pulling from a pack I think I've told this story before and I think I've opened this from one of these Japanese repackaged packs as well awesome card and then maybe we'll do this middle oh oh jeez this must be quite new we've got a Toros G X [ __ ] put that down let's have a look at these ones we've got a Blastoise there and then up next we've got a very very very scratched look at the scratches on that mammoth memo swine forget he's named mammoth something we've got one of the tornado trio then we have bear tick everything is holographic I was not expecting this it doesn't necessarily mean they're all good but um it's a treat to look at what the [ __ ] is this hexagonal master base genesect okay that is mental look at that [ __ ] that's a promo then we've got laddie ass or latias never remember which one it is there's the other one pause hey guys editing max mofo Pokemon here I just like to quickly point out they're doing one of these Japanese old miscellaneous card videos can be very difficult for the pricing I try to keep fair and accurate for the most part but I do a lot of research to give a price that I see fit for the Western market and sometimes there's essentially none but see me giving that laddie ass and latias around a four dollar Australian average for the duo well then take a look at something like this same two cards on eBay at the moment two available 15 sold eleven dollars u.s. not even close to what they should be worth given some of these might have sold a very long time ago but either way I just want to let you guys know to be very careful and cautious and Thoreau when you want to buy specific cards do your research have a look around the place these two [ __ ] ain't worth $14 50 on we've got Salamence this is some weird dragon subset these are all like one of 20s this must just be like a thing you can buy or something like that a small set there is the base set Clefairy pink [ __ ] [ __ ] it's gonna take me longer just to go through one thing that I thought I'll throw it's gonna do heaps Plusle we've got Magnezone there level X then we've got leafy leafy is here baby then we've got Zapdos we've got out of Kuno surely we got a Moltres nope we've got this big jagged piece of [ __ ] Lego what's this guy's name again he's from black and white I think then we have Empoleon we've got feeb asses older sister we've got Venus or with the [ __ ] warts on your shoulder and legs what a dirty boy don't you just want to pop those I like scrape them off you know always have kind of had this fantasy when I was younger of now this isn't weird but I wanted to scrape off like whales barnacles they always look like big scabs I just want to like just rip them off like aa chisel I'm off with something not on a live one maybe a dead one or something and we've got bag on and I don't know if that fantasy is still alive inside my head that just reminded me of it okay oh I really creamed myself over those fellas we're gonna open up a very thick one but a very very very cheap one one that costs 1000 yen with a very sexy old melodic e^x on the front so I'm assuming also first edition I'm assuming because of that the rest is just going to be Commons and [ __ ] I was actually quite surprised by how packed that last one was I don't know if it's necessarily worth it but just visually it was a nice experience all right here we go so here's they've got a nice one on the front here energy energy we've got a slug month Totodile stop me okay here we go it's just gonna be all this isn't it let's just have a quick look through white what we're out on e^x what is this about some weird promo see I don't mind getting this this stuff as well because you get cards you'd never [ __ ] had any idea existed and ones maybe that a sob skewer you can't really find individual sales for online that often this is the first edition here as well you can see down there I think most of these are ver series some newer stuff here alright alright okay I think I'm going to maybe just skip through these these what is with so you can see this one the first edition logo is in the bottom left corner I am very happy that now - I used to use this all the time when someone attacks your Pokemon when you're wearing this rocky helmet actually no that might be lucky helmet yeah that doesn't look very rocky sorry alright guys oh okay this some there's some nice little ones sprinkled throughout here's some sort of sparkly Wobbuffet blasting through the [ __ ] space-time continuum you can see see his tail a lot of people say I'm not sure it might be sort of common law Canon poke of fact now but this this towel is supposedly the actual Pokemon and the rest of all this is some big stupid substitute but this is this is all it's meat this is this means nothing it's brain and all that is inside its actual towel maybe probably do a fact check on that one teddiursa what the [ __ ] is this I have not seen half this artwork or almost any of it is he coming through a hole in the roof like some glory hole to get his [ __ ] neck sucked or okay I think maybe he's passing through some aroma oh this these ones clearly go together that's very cute [ __ ] big head mark tauscheck some very weird artwork I've never seen that wheezing alright I've seen all this [ __ ] have not seen that before okay I'm not going to keep telling you which one's a [ __ ] scene which I haven't alright let's just get through this is there anything anything nice to stop and have a look at in there I still think it was worth the [ __ ] 1000 yen I'll take him Jesus Christ if you get that much for 1000 yen imagine what you can get for 800 it's just like buying bulk but you get a nice card in the front maybe two extra hollows through it I'd rather pay this then pay this for a booster pack just two more 4,500 yen ones here I do have a big box more of this that Merryweather sent me picked up for me I did pay how about this one ladies and gentlemen how about this very nice Faro 2200 yen ah okay here we go here we go I'm assuming it's going to be much the same but we have this very beautiful birdie on the front there and okay okay very nice Zapdos holo this is a rocket Zapdos and then we've got a seal okay okay another seal [ __ ] yeah oh [ __ ] a Doge on you know you can evolve this now oh god you can evolve both of them alright corsola okay horsey horsey baby Sidra evolution incoming that I always hated this bit of artwork it's just [ __ ] polluting the ocean get a [ __ ] grip okay we're gonna we're just gonna go through a lot of this you may remember a lot of these as old artwork I'm I'm sort of remembering a lot of this some nice ghastly there there is an omastar maybe an omen night I can't really remember here's that bloke that made Australia very sad when he punctured right through Steve Irwin's heart star me star you I mean yes stop me no you start you Quagsire not looking as fat as usual have not seen that artwork there's Wooper we've got the one that looks a little like a woman's undergarment sir owned by misty no less and then we've got giovanni's magic harp why does Giovanni own a match what the [ __ ] is this I did not I've not seen that Jesus Christ fossil set kinga crabby Tentacruel tend to cool Magikarp Magikarp something I've never seen what's that Rocket's Magica we've got Kuo larva very nice Pokemon this was a great error for starters we've got cyndaquil I remember this bit of art with sorry I'll stop telling you that there's [ __ ] blinds growlithe baby look at Blaine quitting grow a thing on his head had to go why is he's mustache coming out of his nose that's weird alright a lot of this stuff like I would there's no way I wouldn't not I would not pay two thousand two hundred yen for something like this even just all this general bulk is such nice stuff to have it be an effort to sort of sell it all individually this is a weird one this is a weird one this artwork was actually changed in the English we do have this card but it never looked like this because it was controversial because he's sucking on a fake pity it's this weird milking thing that gets it to suck milk because it's like a baby Sentret and the farmer's giving it like this fake half [ __ ] plastic cow udder with a big rubbery tit on it very weird also not that weird but we had to change it this looks like a magic card what the [ __ ] this does not look like something that having Pokemon with these hands in this weird weird I've got revived I think that is there's like defense something few of those there's the attack one power plus I've got some needles we've got the original poker doll or substitute or whatever it is [ __ ] that's a weird card this is like when they do this 3d sort of thing but it does does not age well we've got switch the original switch what the hell is this this is some nice artwork they're all getting jiggy with it look at this to put the radio on Pokemon can get along okay enough commentary let's get to the bottom of this Blayne there is the main man himself alright a lot of just trainers on the end they're very nice holy [ __ ] we definitely I don't think we have that that's a sick stadium card oh it's lucky Stadium I think there's a few different ones of this I've heard they made maybe not this one specifically but I think they made a different one for each region and then I think New York in America also got one different artworks or something like that no if it's this specific one but it's very cool you can see two dodrio is going at it in the center there and we've got Emma Cooney or whatever the [ __ ] his name is weird Japanese guy and we've just got some some nice stadiums and things here's a weird Machop card with a headband there you go amazing [ __ ] I love this listen I'll do you one more I'll do you one more I thought I was gonna do all these but this is it's it's dragging me along next time I'll do a really long episode maybe how about 1,700 yen with this right root on the front also remember guys so his first of all is this very nice right you also remember there's a very [ __ ] nice ass Slowbro which is actually [ __ ] fake is it yo if package to fake card how could you not tell well like if this was your job this is not legit that's so odd everything else has been that is just weird of them to include I was just gonna say remember that a lot of these individual cards I may come across ones which I don't have price pop up for or anything like that which are worth but a lot more than the ones that I do have the price pop up for that's just because mainly I'm going with my instinct if I put if I research something it's because I think maybe it might be worth a little bit but most of the time I can't be [ __ ] for all this general garbage so there could be some gems in here like like this this weird laminate one [ __ ] yeah I just don't want to see people sort of adding up the price and thinking oh yeah that wasn't worth it all oh yeah that was really it's like there's a lot of cards in here which could be calculated which I just don't put the time into Chikorita Pikachu whirlwind maybe there's a very weird Wartortle that's such an old one and it looks so [ __ ] weird a lot of the old cards do look weird with some fossil set jungle set rocket set base set here some gym heroes and things like that some of the Neo series here is a licker tongue licking some [ __ ] bananas or something out of the tree they're from the jungle set alright I think we're done here guys next time maybe I'm gonna be opening up some of those huge [ __ ] 4,500 yen ones that [ __ ] was mental all right let me just let's just have a scrap through this guys that's just
