hello! and happy one year of being at Ulta Beauty and the one-and-a-half-year
anniversary of being in existence to celebrate today we're going to
do another q&a like we did last time and i'm going to do this look which
kind of looks like the "positions" look i didn't mean to do that,
but i think i did do that so welcome and here you go and i'm going to answer some of your questions and use some
of my favorite r.e.m. beauty products let me give some... oh my god the jazz! the jazz has to come back, right? i think it's imperative [jazz music plays in background] hi alright i'm going to prep my skin with a little
bit of mist thing and the first question this is going to be a mess but the question is "how is life ari?" life is beautiful and surreal and i'm learning so much and i'm growing so much right now and i'm working my a** off and i'm enjoying and savoring every
moment of it as much as i possibly can so yeah, very grateful i'm going to use my 'smitten kitt-' ok f*ck me i'm going to use my 'smitten kitten' palette as i answer this next question "is it exhausting working so many hours
on Wicked? i'm so excited for this" it's weird because it's
exhausting, but i'm not tired like i would do it again right now every single thing i don't want to stop i don't want to do the weekends i don't want to go home i don't want to leave ever so Cynthia and i are this is the phrase we keep saying husks we are shells of people and i'm savoring every single
second humanly possible oh my god wait! oh my god can you please show them my eye heart? show them my my my veins i really want you guys to see this i've been wanting you guys
to see this for a long time in my eye i have a heart look at my veins i've always wanted to show you that can you see it, Kat? [Kat in background] mhmm can they see? [Kat in background] mhmm i've always had that continue next, i'm going to do my crease with our multi-use eye stick in the shade 'juno' @morla_mar is back with a question i believe she had a question last time what is your earliest makeup memory? i think you know being in children's theater and being
on stage and playing with makeup watching my mom do her iconic black eyeliner and being like "oh, work, i want to do that" watching 'To Wong Foo' for the first time and watching that opening credits segment and having my life change i'm going to brighten the inners
with this other multi-use eye stick in the shade 'intergalactic' alright, what's next? oh ooh give the children what they want and i'm going to do a cat eye
for the first time in god knows where's our liquid liner? [sigh] thank you! as you know i haven't been
wearing it as much lately i'm going to do this and i'm
going to answer this question "top 3 best r.e.m. beauty
products Ari is proud of?" this is hard for me our eyeliner, our liquid liner is exquisite our concealers are un-f*cking-believable highlights are out of this world our lipsticks are gorgeous our lip glosses are my favorite lip glosses they are so delicious and plumping our mascaras are to die for all of it is just i'm really proud she's still got it i think that went ok! ok, wish me luck on the other round wow that's called god stepping in i haven't done this in the longest time good to see you my old friend [eyeliner cap drops on table] i'm going to use our lengthening mascara quickly justin has asked "will there ever be
another album inspired collection?" we're already on it thinking the same things throwing on our 'eternally
meowing' lashes very quickly i should move on from my eyes it's been one hour it's been four days this is our foundation brush, it's not out yet i don't care i'm going to use my concealer to do my skin and i'm going to use several different shades i'll show you my process 'medium 2n' i'm going to use as my little
foundation for now until our foundation is out which you have seen and you know about because someone so graciously leaked it love it you guys have heard every bad song
and bullsh*t demo that i've ever made hilarious it's impossible to keep things from you you gotta take some swings and misses i'm now going to do my
concealer with shade 'light 4g' wow we must discuss the impact we must discuss the transformative
nature of this concealer ya know? a witch formulated this [sigh] another question, it's time i'm going to do a little setting powder may i have a tissue to blow
my nose please? i'm so sorry still rolling forgive my congestion i'm a little run down disclaimer thank you so much i'm going to contour with 'tan 4g' and my ice machine is going
to f*cking say a mouthful [mimics ice machine sound] um "which 3 products can go with any look?" i would say any of our highlights woah, this is way too much pardon me hold on let me woah our utmost importance plumping gloss and our ugh our lashes are so good yeah our lashes go with anything this question is "what kind of makeup do you recommend for men?" all makeup, any makeup makeup is not gender exclusive nothing is what is the binary? all makeup, any makeup r.e.m. beauty everything you want to wear you should wear doesn't matter f*ck the binary [palette snaps close] hmm @mybocamocha incredible name has asked "is the rumor about the foundation real?" the rumor about the foundation is real! there have been some delays we have a couple of things
that have been a little delayed because we did a big transition we kind of are still settling into
our new version of r.e.m. beauty took our power back we went through a big transitional phase so we're sort of getting things back on course we have a lot coming! but, yes, the foundations
are one of the things coming and they're incredible i can't wait for you to try them i'm going to do some blush while we're talking "what's the most underrated product?" ooh i don't know our multi-use eye sticks are f*cking incredible by the way, i'm using 'opening night' i love this shade our multi-use eye sticks are incredible and i really really love them but, also i think one of our best products
that people sleep on is... um wow am i going to the pageant? a lot of pigment in case anyone was wondering jeezus hell one of our best products is our brow gel definitely one of our best things for sure [cheek + lip stick snaps close] as i do my lip i'm going to use my
practically permanent lip marker my f*cking favorite thing in the world in 'booked n busy' yeah this is from a person who seems very nice "is Glinda wearing r.e.m. beauty on set?" Glinda wears a couple of things i told my beautiful makeup artist, Nuria who i love with all my heart i said "i don't want to go
into this with any rules or requests i want us to find her from the ground up i wanted to sit down and let you play and we'll find her together" i just wanted to be... a new girl and find Glinda with her but, she was like "actually i really i want to use some of your products" she was like "they're really beautiful" and that meant a lot to me actually, i'll tell you later i'll tell you once you see her but yeah she wears a couple of things i was really honored when Nuria wanted to incorporate them and i was like "no pressure, please no" great f*cking question coming up top-tier question coming up "where is piggy? is she okay?" piggy is with the twins right now staying with my siblings while i am away and she is being taken such good care of and she is happy, healthy, and thriving Brian makes her the most beautiful dinners and they're taking such good care of her she's very happy i miss her a lot unfortunately she couldn't make the flight she was busy she couldn't get on the plane to london she had a lot of meetings that day a few more questions before i go even though i pretty much finished my makeup i'm sorry i kind of left out a lot of details but, i'll respond in the comments and by "i'll respond in the comments" i mean our social media handler
