One knife to ruler them all

are you going now ever since I made this channel one request has far been the most popular so today I'm going to make a knife alrighty I ain't very good at making knives and as you can see my last two fell apart look like [ __ ] and worked better the other way around like what what is this so I thought I would make one that would allow me to go the distance one that would allow me to really measure up to the great You Tube knife makers out there I'm gonna make one out of a stainless steel ruler and I nicked this ruler from school when I was a wee lad from some guy with the initials JT it was either Justin Timberlake or Justin Trudeau I don't I don't really remember I'm just gonna draw out the outline of my knife on the ruler it is usually a lot easier to draw straight lines when you're able to use a ruler so once I finished drawing out the sketch of my knife I'm going to put on some nice classical piano music to work it really helps you relax but can you play that song that really nice piano song when you play oh where you leave untie me first no no I'll tell you after you play the song nice so first I'm going to cut out the blade [Music] then grinded to shape [Music] [Applause] [Music] then file out a bevel and check out this sexy Bevin next I'm going to use this cutting board for the handle now because the cutting board is made out of toxic plastic isn't very important to take a sniff of something more toxic you know to cancel out the bad fumes then I'm using epoxy to glue it all together this time I'm using five-minute epoxy but the time limit is just really stressing me out you know like usually I go for that everything will be alright to epoxy although you still have 60 years left of life epoxy but they were all sold out and as you can see the 5 minute epoxy was just too much for me like glue all over myself and the knife and just the hands are sticky in it so I figured this newspaper in waiting 24 hours would fix them fix the job so 24 hours later the glue is now dry and the knife and myself looked like a pinata [Applause] so I'm just gonna clean up the handle with a file and you try to remove all the newspaper I'm just giving it a nice rub down on the belt sander and then a little bit of hand sanding and there you have it a ruler which you don't want to bring to maths now time for the most important test oh [ __ ] Oh piano boy hey buddy aren't I now all right yeah how does that sound yeah good all right hang on you guys in that that'll it's better yeah that's better there we go all right guys I think there's something wrong with the piano thanks for watching if you enjoyed that make sure you subscribe to say what else I get up to
