ONE DIP Makeup Challenge! OMG! | NikkieTutorials

i am literally giving my eyebrows a scrub with how much i'm pushing this brush and pigment whatever is left in it onto my hello guys it's me nikki hey today i am here to do something i haven't been doing in weeks even months which is a challenge challenge tutorials is back so one of my favorite things is when you guys my glow babies comment down my videos what videos you want to see next and one of the videos you wanted to see was the one dip challenge and i was like one dip one dip wait i remember that someone else said that before me so if does the life did this four months ago but the original is lauren nine to five she did this two years two years ago girl ahead of the game i don't think i have to explain this too too much but in the one dip makeup challenge you're gonna do your entire face of makeup using only one dip of every single product that touches your face the full coverage that i am needs at least 85 dips of her full coverage foundation concealer and powder i know one of the key secrets to having a beautiful blended eyeshadow is to build up lightly and then gradually make it more intense and make it fade and make it ombre having to do eye shadow in one dip it's gonna be a disaster but we're here we're gonna have some fun with it you know with every challenge that i do on my channel i always try to keep an open heart and you know maybe at the very end of this i will learn something about my daily routine and this challenge is just going to totally pick it up and change it up i don't want to do this but let's go [Music] okay the one dip makeup challenge i love myself a full beat when it comes to makeup and today i'm gonna have to be so mindful and thoughtful of how i apply these products i hate it here okay let's carefully dip our toes into this challenge first up is primer so i'm gonna just go ahead and translate dip one dip into one pump one squeeze so for primer today i always mix my primers because that's not happening today i've been really really liking the rare beauty primer so i'm gonna take one pump of this i have a big face okay my face and body are large and in charge hence why i always need a couple more dips and squeezes and pumps of of products but one will do please be a big pump come on no that's it i'm gonna rub it between my fingers okay a little bit on the cheeks on the forehead a little bit on the nose and then smush it around okay so that barely covers it all that was just enough i'm gonna be in pain for foundation okay time for foundation now the problem is i don't want to do this i'm going to choose something that is so mega full coverage and spreads like butter because i need something that will go for miles and the most full coverage and one of my all-time favorite foundations on planet earth squeezier squeeze here here here i might have just saved myself using the juvia's place because this baby is full coverage and will go from okay okay i feel good about this i feel good about this okay let's blend this in oh yes juvia's place i knew you wouldn't let me down i knew you wouldn't let me down you're here to save the day queen on the nose oh i love this foundation so much this challenge already is going to tell me that usually i dip into my juvia's place foundation like twice or three times this challenge right here is showing me that one full-on dip of the juvia's place foundation is more than enough look at that one dip completely erased my face oh by the way if anyone's gonna take a shot every time i say dip in this video galaxy in the hospital now it is time for a concealer and my favorite concealer is my jouer you can also use disconnected chicken if you want to save some money i'm not gonna stop with all the discounts i swear okay this is the essential high coverage liquid concealer again i'm gonna go full coverage to get that extra stretch in the product but this is looking so good already i'm in the color chiffon i take this out oh is this almost empty everything that is on the brush right now is what i'm allowed to use on my i am running out of this concealer and i'm only allowed one dip crap [Music] you know this challenge is really going to be for all the people who are always up in my comments being like you use too much product you need to calm it down listen it's 20 20. nobody has time to calm down when it comes to products okay we can use however much we like except for today okay now i feel good about this i'm gonna blend this in oh my god after that comes powder wait no i always set my under eyes using a damp sponge and powder just for my eyes alone and then i take a powder puff to do the rest of my face [ __ ] we'll find out first let's tap in this concealer tap tap tap in face on i am lost okay okay oh this combo is this combo is it okay now now it's gonna get intense all right i'm gonna be very delicate about this okay well usually i would go in with a little bit more product after blending it in to really get rid of all the dark circles but guess not today okay time for powder now like i said usually what i do is grab my damp sponge and pop it in a loose face powder and set my under eyes like that and then i take a puff to kind of puff it all in and i'm only allowed one dip how am i gonna i am gonna make sure that all the creases underneath my eyes and in my face are gone and then i'm gonna dunk this entire sponge in the powder and get as much as i can and just distribute it like i did with my primer yes dunk really grabbing all the powders oh this is gonna go so wrong okay under eye under eye oh crap okay here we go forehead nose oh it's already running out oh it's already running out oh i'm gonna stamp this powder onto my face like there's no tomorrow no i need more powder than this okay oh there's some here okay picking it up with the sponge putting it down here oh i must say that under eye has never looked so smooth i'm just stamping like my life depends on it so that every little micro particle of powder is on my face right now okay time for brows oh i don't know how we're going to do rows my brow routine is about a 10 step routine okay there comes a lot of product there's a lot of love precision and detail when it comes to my brows so it got me to thinking my usual routine out the door bye the eyeshadow palette i want to be playing with today is by kimchi and she has a collaboration palette with naomi smalls and these are two of my favorite queens and they have this gorgeous eyeshadow palette i hate greens you know it but these greens are it and there's this one color in here mad maxine and mixed and these two look like my actual brow so this is my plan i found this brush in my collection by anastasia beverly hills this is the number 20 brush it has that super flat sort of straight edge but it also has the sides to kind of like fill in with first i'm going to brush the hairs of my brows the three hairs that i do actually have i'm gonna brush them up i don't like this boom oh this is gonna be a mess oh it's crumbling okay i need to distribute i need to distribute because i'm already losing product everything that's crumbling off of the brush right now is lost get that tail with that straight edge oh this is horrible i need you to do more than this no i am telling you you better get into this tip no okay i put some on the side i'm gonna use that to what is this no okay you know what oh my god i am literally giving my eyebrows a scrub with how much i'm pushing this brush and pigment whatever is left in it onto my and i already can't wait bless all of you for doing this but like people are like oh my god her face in this challenge looks so much better than what i do after 12 hours of makeup and i'm like stop lying why you lie that's not true i mean it's a look somewhere not in this household but it's a look somewhere the next product i would love to use for a little bit more definition on these brows is brow gel this is the maybelline brow sculpt and i'm gonna use whatever is on the applicator right now and thank god it's a lot oh i'm not making it better look at me trying to convince myself that this looks good no honey no now what i desperately want to do is carve this out with concealer but i can only dip my brush in what okay i'm dipping my brush in once can i flip it over can i flip it over for two sides oh i need to use this sparingly because i also have to do the other side oh my god the brush is running out okay wait i'm gonna squeeze product onto my skin and then pick that up and then continue oh my god that was a smart move that was people call me dumb but that was clever you know what i knew the brows was going to be the part of this challenge where it would really really kick me in the ass because i have no brows to begin with before i do any shadow work i have to prime i pretty much always use my nars soft mac plate concealer in light one but i can only dip my brush in once okay i'm gonna make sure that i get enough product i'm only dipping in once but i'm getting product out bam i am going to put a little bit on this eye a little bit on this eye just get it on stamp it in and then whatever is left on the brush i say for later to prime my under eyes so i'm gonna put you in a safe place today i'm dipping into the kimchi and naomi smalls eyeshadow palette i think the only way to distract from these horrendous brows is to go a little ham of the shadows one dip for two eyes people i'm gonna dunk my brush in and scratch it around until i feel like the base of the brush has all the pigment in it i'm scratching it around and this is my dip i'm gonna put some here in the crease and here in the crease and i'm just gonna swirl it around here swirl it around here oh it's already going just keep swirling oh my god this is not enough for two eyes this is it no i need it more than that i'm just gonna keep swiping this on my skin until i feel the base of those bristles break apart um the next color cactus which is a shimmering yellow i am you know what i'm going to use my finger i'm really going to dip it in and then i'm going to use a brush that is clean a clean brush to kind of work it into place oh yes oh we're rubbing we're picking it up we're taking it all onto the finger one day this is promising a little bit on this lid a little bit on that lid oh oh how did self make this look so easy you know sofa's life she did this challenge and it looked so easy when she did it and yet i'm here my studio failing at life okay now with the brush i'm really going to scratch that shadow and make it go to all the edges and it's trash i am scratching my eyes so hard i'm going to get at least six wrinkles from this video oh my god this is a ride this is a ride that i don't i want to get out of this uber mud mask i am gonna i'm gonna scratch every particle of shadow onto that one dip a little bit on the outer corner here a little bit on the outer corner here okay that's doing something okay okay okay okay you know in a world of nothing this is something oh honey okay we're gonna take this up into the front of that brow honey we need some love up in there as well please inner corner one dip i'm not joking [ __ ] you know who probably killed this challenge james charles like i know his ass would just make this beautiful if anyone wants to leave a comment on james's channel to tell him to do this challenge be my guest scratch it like there's no tomorrow and really pick up that pigment this is one dip people here and here oh that is killer oh oh oh honey yes time to grab that brush that has my eye primer in it and put it on the bottom and then we're going to do something on the bottom whatever is left in here stamping it on i am taking this summer switch oh yeah boy a little bit on this eye a little bit on this eye that's it come on stretch it blend oh my god my eye hurts from doing this okay there's one more thing i can do to try and save this i have liquid liner so i'm gonna take this liner and whatever is on the brush when i pull this out is what i'm allowed to use i'm gonna put some on this outer corner here on this outer corner here and then make a tiny wing oh come on you can do this okay fill in oh that is a wing ooh girl girl put your records on davina michelle actually gifted this to me and i never tried it before and i'm so sorry don't don't hate me but it saved the day today okay now time for mascara i'm gonna be using the milani the waterproof one all right i'm gonna take this mascara this is what i'm allowed to use trash my lashes are pure trash for lashes i want some bangers that are going to hide most of my crease and my eyelids so i have these kimmy nguyen fluffy gap ones and what i'm gonna be doing is um cut them measure them to my eye and then take one dip of eyelash glue and distribute that over the two lashes one dip of eyelash glue and i'm just gonna coat the entire band one lash done whatever is left on the applicator i'm just gonna put on this band okay now let's pop these bad boys on time for the face now this is gonna be interesting i'm gonna take my bronzer the bronzer i'm using today is by nars it is the matte bronzer in vallarta oh boy okay i'm just going to take my brush and really get some bronzer not too much oh that was a lot i'm going to pop a little bit here a little bit here oh that looks good okay other side please please still have some product left okay i think this is the most i can get out of this brush okay then what i always do is take my face powder and carve up my nose for that contoured look so i have my face powder and a dry beauty blender and i'm just gonna dip it in once never thought i was gonna say this in this video but let's brush away the axes because apparently we have them make this nice and soft and we still have with just one dip a very nice softly defined contoured nose for blush i am dipping into my baby my nikkietutorials and beautybay pressed pigment palette the restocks come soon i'm taking zomer this as a blush if you have the palette use zomer as a blush it is everything that's it i'm gonna sweep some here sweep some here i told you it is very bright and also on the tip of the nose the bridge of the nose we're gonna go for a very blushy moment and now let's buff in just like we did with the bronzer oh my god okay for highlighter i highlight a lot of places on my face mainly the cheeks and the tip of my nose and the bridge of my nose so i'm taking the jaclyn hill highlighter palette okay i'm taking the top color come on okay dip dip dip dip dip dip dip a little bit here a little bit here a little bit on the bridge a little bit on the tip and now let's go ham on the cheeks with whatever is left can you believe we're almost there this has been a ride i have this m cosmetics what does that say faded clementine look it matches my nails that is not a lot no it's already running out stop it stop it it's already running out no stop no um okay i found more product on the other side of the applicator thank god because if that wasn't there i would have a problem okay i like that i want a gloss though p louise lip gloss and holla that's it that's it i only got one dip pillowy that's it oh god i really wanted a bit more so when it comes to setting spray do i also only get one spritz thank you and here we have the finished look is this my favorite look i've ever done absolutely not do i look the worst i've ever looked absolutely not i will never forget high school i think what this challenge was meant for is to make us a little bit aware of how much product we sometimes actually put on our faces and that sometimes it's okay to get a little wake-up call to be like okay
