ON THE ROAD - KING'S LYNN TOWN

so i got up at 3 30 am in ireland to catch a plane back home to then go and meet robbie knox hello what a rush well it's non-league day and if anyone's going to capture it you know it's this channel how much money would this man take to let us park in the car park is kings thing actually expensive and what could possibly be in the meat pie well you'll find out if you check out this episode on the road at king's lynn town enjoy genuinely guys genuinely nearly missed my flight didn't i actually got a wake-up call from the front desk here at the uh metropol hotel in cork this taxi was literally about to leave without me good morning mate sorry about that yep on the road yeah back again as i say we started this video in cork which is where i was last night it's straight to the airport where i'm being tempted to buy some potatoes in duty three i decided against it and decided to get another 45 minute sleep at gate 3. and here my friends is a visual representation of that sleep but we won't go on for 45 minutes you get the picture yeah it was playing landing gatwick we're really fast on this one i don't really need to get to the car park and breathe now get to the car and leave thank you so much bye what beautiful day still early so i'm going to get back to uh have a shower that's what i need we don't need to see that smooth let's just get back on the road get back again on the road yet back again today is non-league day big day in the uh football calendar as far as i'm concerned anyway let's move non-league day was two weeks ago what are you doing wait when i bring back the vlogs you'll realize why i do not get hardly any time to do editing in fact the vlogs probably won't come back because i won't have time to do them either it's just uh it's manic here literally manic i'm actually like spending all my time actually doing nothing but doing everything it makes no sense but if you're a parent you'll understand anyway enough then let's crack on with this video as you see for the title thumbnail this week we're going to name kingsley town we were founded in 2010. probably new and shiny that one look at them they found themselves in the national league struggling the great escape has to start today against third place halifax town it's not looking good is it we've gotta have faith as we head to the walks today which has a total capacity of eight thousand two hundred one thousand two hundred which are seated i reckon nana heated maybe the chairman's though the manic rush today meant that i didn't go through the whip restriction that nobody wants to go through we're straight here at the complex where my windscreen still needs to clean we're picking up the guy that left his hat here last time around because he's charlie hello hello you're not going to say anything um say oh that's where it is oh there he is thank you for that starting route to kingsley fc we move you're probably thinking how does 117 miles take almost three hours i tell you why there's hardly any motorways as you go up to norfolk so it goes like this back up the bloody a30 and i've just come from this way switch over to the bloody a12 and his country lanes all the way through as we're in places like ford end i've been here before definitely i'm still unable to confirm if that's the start of full end or the end of full then guess it depends what where you're coming from even then no mate go on tell me progress is being made as we take a left towards exnin that's one for the swivel ball definitely won't top jackson though and then takes us to here where the skies are blue and we're on a bit of a slope things don't even out we're in norfolk my accent has been really bad in previous videos so um maybe i'll allow it this time maybe i'll get ellis black to voice over the rest he's originally from norfolk where any no worries smith i've got this oh look a tractor oh look another tractor oh look we're in king's lane okay i think no worries mate i'll send the invoice over brilliant brilliant if you checked out the forrest green video you would know that i didn't organize parking but i did manage to get private parking uh by just being nice to some booked oh can i give you a lot of money to park it though no money at all 10 pounds 15. 50 pounds 100 pounds if that's what yeah i said yeah i've got 12 i can't make no one okay can no amount of money slipped into club's pocket would have let us in that car park fair play he's doing his job so instead i parked down the road for free it's as simple as that then we walk for a very nice park a very turnstiles interesting ones no one needs unlocked and there's someone here to scan my ticket not today come here oh god yeah just walk in go for it severe like a click click click there my ticket is scanned on the other side of that gate i can confirm today's matches cost me 18 pounds despite the expensive cost for this level next mission is to find charlie found charlie i've also found view of the on the road videos tom hello hello what next i'm hungry but first of all halifax fans all caged in hungry linux shall queue here and i'm gonna queue too don't you worry about that on the picture got the sprinklers out because this place is so hot as we move up the cube we get a better look at the menu and the question that everyone needs to know the answer to is what's in that meat pie hey town versus halifax town and we've kicked off this um this this food's taking a little bit of time eventually we get salt and that one sets me back six pound fifty oh non-leg atmosphere more importantly what was in that pie is it meat is it fish will it make you die it's time to find out with mystery pie a survey says beef brilliant meanwhile i'm consuming my burger which i'll let you know how that goes down at the end of the video charlie he's on chip duty and he's feeling saucy what flag is that on the field king's thing pressing can't quite work out if justified there's a thing here or not it's um they're pretty chilled they're pretty relaxed actually no look at them in the background they're loving life oh how's your pipe robbie it was all right i'll note that one down i'm table i would go with king's ling majority of the possession majority of the chances i think he could go two nil before it goes one all we're finding this man can rest he never knows pete's got a massive one look at it that camera lens is pretty big too i'd like to know the story behind this it screams frustration question for charlie you just farted oh yeah which brings us nicely onto this an official steward so what i kind of say kind of goes on the pitch man runs length for the field to laugh at another man [Applause] no one likes him apparently i i've never really had an opinion to be honest more on that in a second look what it means the great escape could it be on who knows but one thing i do know is the official stewards are out in falls one win in their last 10 did we bring the luck well 2 and 11 now a lot of work needed between now and the end of the season but for now they're going to enjoy this one and everyone that watches these videos stop ignoring me yeah not league football just just go and do it so as we walk out the walks should we write this experience let's and as per usual i'm going to start things off with atmosphere how was it down at the walks today well that small section of fans did have a voice on them that has to be said hallelujah show very little in this game and not much came from them yeah i think it was a decent atmosphere today i'm gonna go three and a half stars next up we're talking facilities the waltz lovely park in it but how's the ground proper non-leg is what i like lots of standing all over the show but they've got the nice big stand as well you know that big stand where you sit in the stand you don't stand you see it it'll never make sense to me anyway nice place could this be a reoccurring score maybe it's three and a half stars anyway onto the food which took ages when we did eventually get it it was it was okay i'd say it was bang on average robbie's pie was apparently okay charlie chips they're okay let's not forget that faithful can of dr pepper two and a half stars we're gonna walk out to three hundred talking costs so 18 pounds to get in i thought it was quite expensive at the time but i've actually done some research there's only seven teams in this league that are cheaper than kingsley most of them sit around the 18 to 21 pound mark but they've come up from a lower league rather than coming down from the big league was it value for money i enjoyed it he's definitely not going to get the five-star non-league treatment that's for sure but i think a good old king's leading three and a half stars would go down quite well with those scores good world against kings nintendo total 13 and a half stars they sit down in 14th it's a respectable score anyways we make our way over here doesn't every non-league ground need a pile of crap that's quite organized to be fair hang on what about that that'll do not leg scenes on non-leg day moving on interesting attire and then back at robbie's very sensible family car we've got a glass a half pipe brewing bin day glass as i'm driving charlie's been given the faithful brew and norfolk so big shout out to robbie knox for coming along
