Oklahoma's Tallest Waterfall in our Backyard!

i'm working hey did you bring your lock to put on the fence no me neither didn't know that was a thing hey you know what what i think we could let jacoby start a video i think jacoby could do it people want to hear you talk man they want to hear jacoby talk talk kobe say it i don't think jacoby's up for it today so today we are not out of our creek no we are not we're at turner falls before we get any more into this video i want you all to go subscribe ring the notification bell and like this video that's right so you know on a little uh we're on a little adventure today and i don't know that it's really a big adventure because we're like 15 miles from home but you know sometimes we uh not just we as in us but sometimes people think about going on these big adventures and they don't think about what's close to home and we've got a hidden jewel right here close to where we live and this is the the largest waterfall in oklahoma the waterfall's 77 feet tall it's a city park actually owned by the city of davis and turner falls park is a really cool place you ought to come check it out if you're anywhere close to oklahoma it's just it's fun so our kids have actually never been here so we're going to take them around show them around show you guys around and probably end up in the water and hopefully find someone with a little bit less wind we're actually uh so this is a work trip my wife's looking for places to do pictures shouting for scouting yeah [Music] so [Music] you gonna get let's in boys y'all talk big get in the water oh come on mercy my little toesies are called cozy rosie's let's see it bail off in there jacoby this is like niagara i'm fixing it against full cinder honestly fixing the full sender huh yeah i don't believe you hey he's way tougher than you he don't just talk about it he goes okay let's go three two one okay no [Applause] yeah it's pretty chilly it's a little colder than the creek at our house houston yeah hey but it's a lot cleaner yeah mom oughta like it because she says she doesn't like it when the water's dirty at our house that is cool [Music] so [Music] now [Music] [Applause] don't be an angry mama don't have bad kids i don't have any [Music] okay [Music] i so much for relaxing 9 000 stairs you always want to go the top what's the matter mom you're breathing awful hard birds it's worth it if you're at the beach this is not the beach that's all you ever think about is the beach yeah hey are you gonna come what was up there we couldn't see anything you couldn't see anything because we didn't go up there oh boy hmm just think about it like this if we were going elk hunting this would get you an elk shape it would not be 4 000 degrees if we were going to elk county yeah but you got to get in shape you got to get in mountain shape yeah let's go okay sounds great welp all those stairs you just climbed got you right up here just like the view we saw earlier huh yeah just like it maybe now you'll want to get in the water and go swimming all right babe this reminds me of a country song you know what i'm thinking about is it the stand by your man back down a country road where's the you know something's hot in the beer's ice cold so we're going back down dog you were wrong about the castle hey do you think if i told you oh i bet it doesn't go anywhere we've ever made it to the top he's a jerk if i'd have said i don't think this goes anywhere do you think we'd ever made it to the top yeah that's right you know elevation never comes through on camera people are gonna think you're just walking on level ground oh we're mad at you right now hey made it to the bottom who's ready to get in the water hey can anybody tell me why my mustache tastes like sweat hey we just climbed a lot of stairs [Music] you need a water slide like this at home i bet you won't do it you're gonna be too scared aren't you hey jacob will do it won't you here give me nothing kobe i know you'll do it i'll do it ready let's go you're scared yeah you got people waiting in line now let's go there you go you got it it doesn't last long don't be scared let's go they're waiting holy crap oh [Music] go how is it man you like the slide yeah good luck good luck three two one my legs did you get both your shoes [Music] hey [Music] [Music] whenever you're done back there guys so there's turner falls park here in the city of davis um isn't it crazy sometimes um you know something like this is right here in our backyard and we never experienced it our kids had never been here before and uh i don't know it's it's one of those places it's just a really neat awesome little city park that has a ton of cabins a ton of rv sites a ton of uh like traditional tent camping opportunities which we're not going to come over here in camp because we live so close but there's all kinds of cool stuff here and this is not don't think this is a promotional thing that they've hired us to do this is just us exploring our local area but if you're interested you can go to turnerfallspark.com and find out all the information i will say this i've lived in this area my whole life do not come during the summer on the weekends no you will not even be able to get close to the water more than likely there will be 10 000 people in every spot if you're gonna come come on like monday through thursday and then come early in the day because even during the week by the by the evenings it gets really busy so you know if you're wanting to social distance come early in the day we were we were here at about what eleven o'clock yeah yeah but yeah there weren't very many people and now it's about 12 30 and you know the swimming holes are starting to fill up and it is what it is but really cool place if you're looking for somewhere just to get away for a day or two come rent your cabin you can get online rent the cabins online buy your tickets online it's one thing you want to do if you're from out of town is buy your tickets online um that way you're guaranteed a spot in the park so don't come on the weekends but the tallest waterfall in oklahoma is right here in our backyard the water is um beautiful beautiful and a lot cleaner and clearer than our creek yes but we decided we need a water slide in our creek yeah that water slide was pretty awesome wasn't it yes you like that part so yeah anyways i think we're gonna wrap this up go find us some lunch and i don't know what else we're gonna do today uh jacoby we gotta we got a surprise for jacoby and we're surprised for you guys for him jacob so a lot of people have been asking did you guys adopt jacoby no we did not we have not adopted jacoby he's just a friend that comes over a lot and likes to hang out at the house a lot and he lives in town in an apartment and wants to come out and be a country boy and he's he's a heck of a fisherman and he likes to be outside he likes to ride four-wheelers and being stuck in town is just not his cup of tea and his his job that he wants to be when he grows up i think i think he wants to be a cowboy oh you're hiding back here behind the seat you want to be a cowboy you want to see a bull rider a bull rider all right so that's who jacoby is we did not adopt jacoby everybody i've had a ton of questions lately i don't know why i guess just a lot of new subscribers come on and and you know every once in a while we kind of have to explain who's who in our crazy clan you know it's kind of like on ice age you know and i say you're like we are the weirdest hurt yeah we've always got extra people but that's just kind of how we roll so anyways we're gonna go find some lunch guys we hope you enjoyed this it's just a something different i've thought about trying to explore around oklahoma a little bit more hit some more of our state parks and there's a lot of cool places a lot of cool things to see in oklahoma that that typically in the past we just are you seriously trying to take credit for today because i'm not taking credit for today 100 my idea this was 100 your idea because you got to come here to take pictures yeah what i'm talking about in the future i would like to hit a few more oklahoma state parks like lake murray has some floating cabins on the water you can go spend the night in a cabin floating on the lake not like a house we're gonna go to wichita mountains yes the wichita mountains is a very very pretty place there's a lot of wild elk over there we actually have some friends that have a rental cabin over there so we need to go stay over there they have one they have two cabins one's theirs and one's a rental i thought they had like three or four you're wrong oh it's okay it can happen not very often so anyways if you guys want to see more of that stuff let us know in the comment section we're gonna maybe do some exploring around oklahoma and texas i don't know my wife even mentioned something about a camper i that was actually me no mommy mom did i i don't know about a camper i like cabins because i can go there stay a night or two and come home and i don't have to maintain a motor home that's even more maintenance than a camper i mean just to borrow i mean borrow not by
