what I've been kind of doing trying to find a place to dig I have to travel to do it and I got on you see in this video some of them pieces would have been spectacular I'll be able to go back because um I'm gonna go up here farther and down the other side of the river and all around row around get some exercise and try to find some ancient Native American artifacts so the whole time you see there's not much Shore here I stepped in the water you can watch my other videos for techniques on how I do it by doing the depth in a lot of them there's a lot of videos on too um if you plan on watching the wall it's going to take you years it's going to take you years I got a bunch of content on enjoy it right here this isn't even you know it's that deep and behind me I can push myself out in other you know say it's all there's big mud flats here so what happens when the water's down out to here which it will be these mud flats will be exposed hey you supposed to say how's the bank supposed to get a rooted and there'd be something up in here to Land you have one real important thing with the river is getting a feel for the river being a river man once you're out every day for months and you know then it gets into years you understand what's going on with the Erasure and how it's occurring and I can't really teach that to you you just have to be out and you have to watch it you'll get to the point where you know if it's okay to come to this spot and if you're if you have a good chance of finding something like today with a water up like this I can get all up in here don't have to carry my screen it's real convenient sifting I have a pretty good chance of finding something I feel if the water was way down or up higher maybe not so good if it you know it could be up another foot here which would ruin things it's just perfect kind of so you have to be aware of that like I could come here today have a real good day find four arrowheads here today you could come next week the water sucked out and not have have trouble even finding Flint here that's how this can go being on the raid area at the right time getting in the right layers where it's easy stuff thing that's sometimes what you need any place with a high Bank on the river like this place this bank here is about eight foot tall from the base clay up to the top it's a little ridge above the river where the water's come up getting cut in half the encampments all through here it's just what what's washing out of the bank and laying where at the time and today I'm going to go up in here and look so we'll see let me get these pieces out of my pocket here I'm out on the river I'm looking for ancient Native American artifacts and what I did I come along there's a high Bank in here balloon behind us growing up stuff the water's kind of up today so the water's right up into it so it makes the sifting easy and I'll put some tips on how you watch the water at the end of this and on this place if I were to come when the water's down further I wouldn't be able to find this stuff it's because I'm up I'm over here up in this cave right here and that blue Barrel is holding some stuff in there so I'm digging around it and I do a test screen and I get this tip looks amazing whatever that was it looks like Flint Ridge there's a flake of Flint Ridge and here is a base to another Flint Ridge coin it looks like a real nice Brew maybe a light side Notch thing and a flake well two screens after that I'm right down in here Shifting the power Rock you can see cracked up fired Rock and there's a point in here and it looks pretty decent um it's right here it may I'd say it's some kind of Brewton That Base really isn't a lot of these have that snap base like this that might be a complete point it's pretty nice see it's made well see the other Notch is there and a lot of these points are just made off like a spall and that's like where it flipped off the the core and that just became the base setting bad it's an adoato Dart Point that's you know middleware kick 6 000 years old that's decent you know this point probably isn't broke you can see it would have done the trick it's just it's an out of idle dark thing with an idle idle and a lot of these like I said the stem is just terminates with the piece it was just flaked off that way and then this was working and that just became the base that's gonna look nice in the frame I'll show you the frame at the end and look at some of the other stuff that's a good spot and I just found it today didn't know what else is there we'll see too bad it's gonna rain here but it's going to clear off so I'll get back well this would have been something spectacular that's translucent Carter K from Kentucky it's an old break right there and this might be a dovetail or something see that bevel down that see it right here real nice beveling um real nice material you can even see the bevel here it's like the tip off a I'd say a dovetail like a broad base well here's this other little beast it's real translucent material but see it's got that in impurity in it there right there and that's where it put freeze popped apart probably but it's like a mid arcade Lake Side knots like a Burton it would have looked something just like that a little Ado Addle dark point just about like that just the top pieces break off well that's one two three there's a base I just found this of a blade that would have been real nice nice teardrop sheep blade that could even be a base off a knife or something bigger and nicer here's that little knife base I found that's a little blade that's broke in half but I found all this stuff plus that point in less than two hours and you know just think of all this stuff would have been whole and it usually is there was points and stuff laying there all around me all right this is kind of a model to show you why that blue Barrel held these artifacts around it the cup Bank was right here behind that barrel and stuff's falling out of it laying in here well that Barrel laying there on the shore when the waves hit it it dishes out the area around it like a bowl kinda like a like a saucer dipped out just like that and all the base clay around it you know it can be uniform there might be some cracks but all that stuff that's getting moved around settles down in around that that's why them points and all that stuff was right there around that that's why later find that airhead I just keep some stuff in here and a rock went on there see it I'd say there's about 50 50. that's it does it is a nutting thing fifty percent of the time a piece of sand saying you dig out of the clay the little high Bank on the river will be a Nutter there's a little hole right there in the middle and look here right there that's how it was laying that piece was stuck down in the mud I flipped it up off nothing's changed there's some good stuff in here that's a black probably Big T drill it looks like it would have been like three inches long it would have been spectacular that was the last screen look at that I'll show you got a place with a good camera that would have been a masterpiece busted there's good stuff in here well here's that little drill section see broke on both ends it's just a metal out of a drill probably a tea drill that's too bad but that shows what's there there's going to be some good stuff coming out of there oh this stinks that I knew it was gonna rain but I was hoping it didn't look at that storm coming I gotta go there's lightning and stuff I mean this is a good spot multiple I haven't I've been here right around two hours like five brakes and that whole point this is a good spot I'll be able to make videos here for months so I'll come back sorry but I gotta cut it short we'll get a check on squirrel man I'm just making it back in time look at the wind blowing I had to row like a mile well not quite a mile three quarters a mile into the wind I just made it well this is all stuff off that same stretcher river that recently look how much that drill has changed colors it was way darker than that it's really lightening up from being stained in that River mug but that point looks nice I need one more little piece to get in there and maybe a couple other little tools it's pretty nice looking stuff see there's another bird like Point here maybe older I don't know we'll see what comes out of there this is cool it's my last few funds here I'm him from the river and look at the pile of pecans and walnuts my old buddy got here look here that's what he wanted food spoiled boy look at your face look what I got to come home and deal with the big man well I hope you enjoyed I'm gonna take him outside for thunderstorms look at
