all right well we are here at the goodwill today and we are about to head in and see what we can find that we can flip for a profit here we go so we're back at the most magical goodwill in all the land and of course i picked the most magical cart to make it a magical shopping experience so here we go let's see what we can find the first shelf left much to be desired i found this sort of lava glaze vase that was stuffed with paper to preserve it but i really didn't see a whole lot of resale value there so i did pass on that and then i splatted this paint by numbers canvas down on the bottom i believe it's paint by numbers um i didn't really see much value in that but then this oh my gosh this this was like walking into heaven it was an entire shelf a fig not just figurines these were like gobble and royal copenhagen and i could not have cleared that shelf any faster i best wick i mean let's look at this look no damage and i was like good thing i put my coat in the cart because now they've got cushion royal copenhagen little baby birds mama birds all the birds all of them on the shelf i did realize that one of those little birds did have a chipped beak so i probably could have left it there but at the time i was just grabbing birds this bird i didn't really like that bird that bird stayed sorry buddy you're not shiny enough there we go we've got a whole bunch of birds and then i spotted this little bone china piece right here but there was a chip on it so unfortunately sorry swan now i did decide to go back through the shelves and i really wasn't finding a whole lot except for this painting but the painting really wasn't that great i was getting a little nervous i'm not gonna lie it's like oh the best part of the video happened with the birds but no don't worry it gets better because then they start restocking so we start digging through the bins and i'm like oh look at this we've got a boomerang my kids could break some windows with that let's just throw it in the cart i have no idea what the resale value is on that boomerang but it looked neat and it looks like we could have some fun with it there was a stack of bowls here i'm not sure who makes these but they were 1.99 and they looked to be in good condition and i didn't see any chips or cracks and so i grabbed those as well there was a silver plated powder dish here for five dollars and i would have expected probably 10 to 12 for it so there wasn't really enough resale value in that piece the plate here i had to turn over and look at the back i do that a lot if you haven't noticed i did like this mug um i didn't peel the sticker i liked the mug i liked the way it fit in my hand but i just bought some studio art pottery so i really didn't want to buy any more right now this cutting board on the bottom believe it or not this caught my eye because it was signed that's really the only reason that i was attracted to it but i didn't recognize the name on it and so i did leave that behind of course i'm checking the clear glass because i have been on a clear glass kick now for weeks and so i am not neglecting the clear glass at all since i found that beautiful vase from finland i kind of liked this candlestick i liked that it looked like a spool but i just there was no markings on it and i feel like i'm gonna regret not grabbing that to be honest now there was a basket here and i liked the form of it and it did look like it had some sun fading it looks like it might have some age and so i did grab this basket when i was carrying everything to my car he it it made a very nice i said he it did have a he personality but it made a very nice nest for all of my birds there was a buttocks basket here an egg collecting basket depending on who you who you are and how you say it um but but the shape is called a buttocks because it looks like well you know so i did decide to grab that one some of the older egg collecting baskets do have a very high resale value so i always look at those now this i was just kind of interested in looking at it but when i picked it up i i was impressed by how soft it was those threads or those fibers or whatever they were they were extremely soft and so i i was like wow what are those that make it so soft i expected it to be coarse and so for 299 i decided to grab this there was a fun little mask here now i'm not sure if this is a tourist mask or just a fun decorative piece but um there was no price on it they ended up charging me 99 cents for it this little votive we've actually sold these before and i think we usually sell them for eight to ten dollars but i did pass on that because the dried candle wax i picked these up and i was impressed by the bottom because they actually had a label on them for libby and i had always wondered how to attribute these and now i have an idea to attribute them to libby this brown bowl i i liked the brown bowl it was 2.99 i liked it and um i kind of went back and forth with it it was 2.99 i was like should i buy it should i leave it and um i did end up leaving it there on the shelf even though i i kind of had to thank for it wait no did no i didn't i left it i i practiced restraint in buying everything that i found and there was some artwork down on the bottom and i did look through the artwork because the last time i was here i found a very nice oil painting and so i always look through the artwork always try to see what i can find i mean i'm not gonna find a picasso but you just never know these boxes were full of candles and candles scare me because i have pet birds i have to be very careful with candles usually whenever i buy candles i take them straight to the shop because we can burn candles over there these cookware pieces were very heavy but they were marked made in china on the bottom i don't usually buy cookware but i liked the color of them now these knives were fitz and floyd and this is a brand that i usually look for some of the vintage fits and floyd pieces can sell for good money and they were 199 they were new in the package and so i did decide to grab the fits and floyd knives these shades were kind of cool i'm not sure if i grab them now or if i come back for them later but i i was like these are weird i'm kind of interested to figure out what kind of lamps they go on what style of lamps because they're just kind of awkward shades there you go i grabbed them but they're very kind of peculiar but i'm sure i can find some lamps that they would look wonderful on now originally i was going to film the milk glass but then i was distracted by this bird shaped lennox and it was for 1.99 so it's shaped like a bird i'll take it it's basically got a bird on it and look there's some matchy match here on the end for 3.99 each i don't usually pick up lennox i'm very very particular about my lennox but because these were shaped like birds i made an exception lennox is tricky i've i've figured that out over the years but these milk glass pieces the sugar was 299 and 299 and i just didn't see very much resale value in six dollars worth of milk glass then i found this entire box of plates and i have been looking for a new set of dishware and so this is more my own thing um i wouldn't buy this for resale so i but i did check it out and there were a lot of cracked pieces and chipped pieces in there and i did kind of like it obviously it was modern but um i kind of liked it but i didn't like it enough and andrew says i don't want pottery so i'm still on the hunt now this was really neat and i had walked by this earlier without taking a closer look at it it is a cookie jar and it says bakery on the front and you can see all the loaves of bread and the scale it's 399 as is it's made in italy it's very cool the reason it's as is is because obviously it's got chips on it italian pottery has this tendency to chip and it's kind of a bummer because i'm obsessed with italian pottery if you guys have not figured that out already but i just thought it was an amazing piece and even with the chips they're under the roof i still decided that i was going to take it with me for four bucks we've got this bone china napkin ring and i was almost going to and then i realized that there was a giant missing petal there so that was also a pass i suspect that these are tierra and they were five dollars each which i think is a little high for tiara glass maybe they're not sierra this plate right here was a betty hatchet design it was 199. and i recalled seeing another plate similar to this somewhere in the store and i didn't actually pick it up and turn it over to look at it but after i found this plate i was like you know what i think i'm going to grab this and then i'm going to go find that other plate i'm going to grab that one too so i ended up with both of the betty hatchet plates now a set of four of these sells for upwards of fifty dollars and so i've got two and now i'm on the hunt for the other two and maybe i'll find them but i don't so it was it was worth a try though there was a mineral and rock kit here i've actually bought one of these for ashton and he was really into it for like 30 minutes and then he was over it so i can understand why it would end up at the goodwill apparently annie was really into it and then not so much we've got a van gogh an original van gogh right there on the shelf this creamer right here is a cronin blue tulip and unfortunately it doesn't have a very high resale value and so i did end up leaving this behind i liked this fish platter but the marking on the back wasn't very impressive now there was a dish here and it had a windmill scene it was probably made in holland and when i turned it over it was made in holland uh it was 1499 and it was a blue a blough delft and unfortunately this doesn't have a very high result value either and it usually sells between 15 and 20 and so i did pass on this i'm not afraid to pay up for certain things but this was one of those things where it was priced right at where it should be this checkered picture i thought maybe for a moment it could be mckenzie childs because mackenzie childs does do a lot of checkered designs and so i did do my due diligence and check the bottom but there was no indication on the bottom this purse i did decide to check out because i thought it was sac roots i have i've picked up one recently i have yet to list it but um i did pick up a sac roots purse and i found out that it does have some resale value and so i did i did look at that purse we've got some vera bradley's there the resale value on those i feel has dropped there is still resale value if you can get them for cheap enough um and occasionally i do pick them up this was a genuine leather bag and so i was checking this out a lot of the times i do buy the genuine leather bags because you can't go wrong with genuine leather there's a wicker lamp here it is a over i actually expected the the cord to like kind of hang it there but then it just fell on the ground and it was a little sad but um this is a wicker lamp here it is a wicker lamp shade and it was four dollars and i figured for four dollars i can't lose on this it's really nice we'll probably end up sticking at one of our booths either at antique marketplace of lemoyne or carlisle antique mall i'm not sure which one yet but it does need a new bulb and it is pretty nice for four bucks i mean we could list it we could we could put it in a booth for a ton and make a profit this covered dish is made in portugal it is uh portuguese pottery and it is marked on the bottom and it was 6.99 as is however the lid was taped shut and i could not see any as is indications on the outside and so i suspect that whatever damage there is is on the inside so i did grab it i also grabbed these and i think that these are for pillar candles they were 4.99 each but they were so colorful and fun and there were a pair of them and so i did grab those i found some listed but none of them were in pairs and so i figured i will list mine in pairs and see how they do i'm not sure exactly what this is this is a drinking game though i can tell you that this little bud vase here is actually bleak and you can see the marking here on the bottom it is purple and the purple mark was from 1993 until 1996 and so it's not terribly old it is still vintage and i did decide to grab it if you're interested in finding out the beleague marks you can actually look them up on google there are very many helpful charts that you can find that is an italian bull but it was a single and i decided to leave that behind there was a vanity set up there but as you can see the damage was just a little bit too much for me this was 6.99 it was another piece of lennox it had the cutouts of the bows it was a more modern piece than the pieces i picked up earlier and so i did pass on that and now we're back to the clear section because they are currently restocking and so i'm just going up and down the shelves hoping to find something that is new so i'm revisiting the clear section hoping that there's something there obviously that ashtray is just not going to cut it but i do take a peek in the bins here you can see there's lots of shoes there's a wrought ironed candlestick holder here and it's very nicely made you can see you can kind of see the solder marks there it's 4.99 and so i do grab that and i find a place to just kind of stick it in there because my cart is full it is essentially overflowing if if we're being completely honest now i had promised to start looking at scarves after dagny's great find the other day and so i did browse through the scarves very briefly looking for anything i go a lot by touch because i did work at a dry cleaners for two years and i went a lot by touch to feel the fabrics and know what they're made of but i didn't find much this is a bottle stopper and it is made by towel i'm sure i'm not pronouncing that right um unfortunately it doesn't have a high resale value i considered grabbing these for andrew but he wouldn't know what to do with them so i left them now i am heading up front i filled my cart today and i'm feeling pretty good about it all right well today our total spend was 102 but i feel like we've got an amazing cart full of wonderfulness is that a thing i think it is i just made it a thing i can't believe i walked right in and there was an entire end cap full of birds like what it's like the heavens just opened up right um so that was pretty amazing i'm i'm pretty thrilled with that you know this was my this was only my third time going to that goodwill and it was kind of like the first time i got a soup train and it was amazing the second time i got a blind boy teapot and coffee pot and that was amazing and now i walked in this time and it was like birds a whole flock of birds and so like that's three out of three that i have conquered the goodwill so anyway um i am now at another goodwill and i am about to head in but i'm going to make all of you wait until tomorrow so i hope you all have a wonderful day and i will see you all tomorrow later oh before i end this though i will remind you guys that all of this stuff will be listed if it's not already listed within the next week um so you can go and check our ebay there is a link for it down in
