thanking god for one more chance to be in his sanctuary to lift him up and to exalt his name we're gonna be presenting the service before god this morning we're gonna ask him to take full control of every aspect of the service hallelujah those that are sick we're going to bring them before god for his healing touch upon your lives hallelujah can we just pray everyone thank you jesus hallelujah lord we thank you we lift you up we magnify and we glorify your name because you are worthy god there is none like you this morning jesus hallelujah you are great you do miracles so great hallelujah jesus even on a bad day god you are still a good god and we thank you for that this morning lord jesus we are here to worship you hallelujah oh god it would be meaningless lord jesus to leave our house to come here and sit down on our praises so right now lord god we hacked it for the strength oh god we ask you lord jesus for another push god to worship you this morning to lift you up and to give you praise mighty god we invite your presence oh god in our midst this morning and we ask the lord jesus to stay with us god we look to you as a great god of heaven every aspect of this service lord will bring before you and we ask of you lord jesus that you may help us oh god when we leave our hands to worship you god we also live for hearts in thanksgiving unto you bless us this day lord god thanks for allowing me the privilege of being here one more time in his presence indeed it's a privilege because not many have this opportunity to be in the house of god today so we ought to give thanks when we come into the house of the lord you know um the scripture that on my mind this morning and it has been for a while is first corinthians chapter 15 i just read that's probably about two verses right he said moreover i declare unto you the gospel which i preach unto you which also you have received and we are in eastern and verse 3 said for i delivered unto you first of all which i also received how that christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and he was buried and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures why i bring the scripture out this morning is that i just want to remind somebody if you don't hear anything else today please hear this we hear we are here to preach the gospel and as paul puts it this way right the gospel is simply put the death burial and resurrection of our lord jesus christ and we just want to thank god for it the bible said for the jews it's a stumbling block the greek it's foolishness but for us we're called by christ it is the power of god unto salvation hallelujah number 50. the song says death has no terror or the bloodbath ones hallelujah no terrors for the blood but one oh glory hallelujah [Music] towards the end of this month just be in prayer saints of the most high god amen for missions convention kelowna in the wonderful name of jesus and just to let us know and to put us on notice here also that comes the month of november right about mid-november and you will be hearing more it's going to be convention time one more time in the name of the lord jesus we might not get to pack the the sanctuary out but we are and if they tell us 50 we know how to have a grand time with 50 people if they carry it down to 10 we will be having convention and we know how to have a grand time with 10 persons amen in the sanctuary so it doesn't matter what the condition is at the time comes mid-november we will be having church and we will be having convention and it promises to be great oh is worthy and worthy to be praised and we thank you that we are pointed worthy by you even though we are unworthy beings we'll glorify you we magnify you we honor you we exalt you oh great god above at this time your servants stand around this desk to minister to your people we need a word from you we need to hear from you you have allowed this vessel to stand between heaven and earth and we appreciate you mighty god but we know that by himself and of himself it would be worthless it would be meaningless and in as much as he had prayed before i just want to pray for him right now i stretch my hand out and i touch my brother i pray that your anointing will be upon him from the crown of his head to the soul of his feet father using to deliver a word and minister to your people right now we need that word a word of encouragement a word to uplift a word to guide a word to lead using war for this moment to deliver that word the forces that will try to stop and hinder and pull it away from the minds of your people we rebuke those forces right now in the name of jesus and we declare that the words must go forth and accomplish that which it was intended because it is the words of the living god have your own way touch the hearts of your people open our ears to hear our understanding to understand so that you will be glorified and we will be edified and we will walk the street of time [Music] please [Music] praise the lord jesus amen if you could turn with me to the book of the psalms praise the lord i'll just read one verse psalm 127 and verse 1 praise the lord jesus amen amen praise the lord i thought i had something to say but you know i i i had some some jottings the other day and you know i had planned to share that with us but you know just a couple weeks ago when bishop came to speak and he opened praise the lord i had to take my phone and show it to my wife i said i don't want if i should should speak this word you think i took it from bishop because it was the very same thing that i had written down the cleansing of the temple praise the lord and i was showing my wife that bishop was hitting all the notes that i had written praise the lord and that's not what we're going to talk about today because bishop did an excellent job with that praise lord i trust that we hold on to that word i just stand as a witness that that was a word from heaven praise the lord jesus today we read psalm 127 verse 1. it says accept the lord build the house the labor in vain that build it except the lord keep the city the watchman wakeeth but in vain praise the lord you may be seated even as i considered praise god the word of this scripture i thought to myself how could it be possible that the lord build and we still labor but as i did some research i recognize that the word build does not necessarily mean only to put in action but it also means to plan praise the lord and so what i want us to understand today as people of god is that in our work in life we are going to have to labor the question though is whether our labor will be in vain or if our labor will be profitable praise the lord we are encouraged here to take heed that whatever we are building it's the lord the lord is involved praise the lord jesus so then we've got to consider for example a composer of a song amen we have many singers today who sing songs that they never composed and oftentimes the composer is unknown but the inspiration that comes from the song the lyrics the melody all of this is not necessarily credited to the singer but the composer praise the lord jesus they are the ones who came up with the idea they are the ones with the talent they are the ones with the skill praise the lord jesus it's a similar thing here in our walk in this life there are many things that we will seek to build as children of god but we have got to ensure that whatever it is that we are building hallelujah the lord is in the midst of it praise the lord jesus amen because we run the risk of laboring and our labor account for nothing praise the lord jesus uh there are two questions then that i would ask the first is what are you building praise the lord jesus the second is perhaps more important but the first one says what are you building praise lord this scripture speaks of building a house but we can be building families we can be building relationships we can be building careers or families we can be building ministries and it doesn't even have to be in the spiritual sense we can be building our businesses our houses praise the lord jesus you name it there are several things that can be built so the question is what are you building praise the lord and the second question i want to ask is has it been approved praise the lord jesus because the cruel thing is that if we go on our own doing things as we see them fit praise the lord jesus it is a risk that we are running praise the lord jesus that the building praise god has to have a plan praise the lord a blueprint is required before any building hallelujah and that blueprint has to be taken to the requisite authority to be certified praise the lord jesus if there is anything wrong with the plan then they will correct it and tell you to come again praise the lord and so it is not wise for us to build on something that has not been certified praise the lord jesus it's the word of the lord that encourages us to trust in the lord with all our hearts praise the lord and lean not on our own understanding but in all our ways hallelujah we should acknowledge him and he will direct praise the lord jesus it means therefore that before we start building we must go to the authority praise the lord once we get our plan approved praise the lord then we must go back to him for the right time to start building hallelujah when you lay the foundation bishop it is time for you to call in the inspector to ensure that the foundation is sound so we don't just get a plan and build all the way up it is a progressive thing praise the lord and so god is saying i must be the approval i must give my approval for everything that my children encounter praise the lord jesus you see we've got to understand many times we declare that god is the king and he is the head of our lives praise the lord and i don't think we really understand what that means it means that god is in control he is the brain he is the control center the coordinator praise the lord the ceo of our lives we don't make any move unless it is coordinated by god hallelujah praise the lord jesus now we understand the concept of someone who is brain dead the very basic functions they are not able to perform even reflex actions that you don't need need to really think about they can't perform them because the brain is that god is the brain of the church hallelujah and so every move that the people of god make must be sanctioned by the brain hallelujah praise the lord jesus i don't know what you're building but i'm here today praise god to encourage you to ensure that what you're building has been approved hallelujah you see in this life there are many actions that are taken against buildings that come against the laws that are in place oftentimes the authority will have to serve a stop order hallelujah praise the lord jesus and depending on the nature of the building he might have to and he might have to tell you to demolish it hallelujah well i don't know what the people of god have been up to but i see buildings left right and center hallelujah and i fear that many buildings have not been approved hallelujah relationships being established marriages hallelujah being built careers being built people taking opportunities left right and center hallelujah but i dare tell you that even if it is what you have been praying for hallelujah consultation must be made with the authority hallelujah that signs and seals in heaven hallelujah the headquarters of the universe praise the lord jesus because we are running a risk of our building and our labor being in vain hallelujah praise the lord jesus somebody needs to do some stop taking today praise the lord jesus you have invested hallelujah long and hard but it is gonna come out to nothing god is saying you've got to console me hallelujah praise the lord jesus and when we have gotten our approval praise the lord we fear no full praise the lord jesus you see we've got to understand this is why the church cannot fail because it has been approved by god himself [Music] god said up on this rock i will build my church hallelujah this is why the gates of hell cannot prevail praise the lord jesus because it has the backing of the god of the universe hallelujah praise the lord jesus in scripture there are many examples of buildings that were not approved praise the lord jesus they were united in their efforts and the lord looked and said they are one people of one language and anything they're determined to do they will do it praise the lord jesus but the building was not approved hallelujah and so god stepped in hallelujah and confounded their language and the labor that they had put in hallelujah it came to not praise the lord jesus what are you building hallelujah praise the lord somebody needs to consult jesus hallelujah stop where you are and ensure that you have the backing of heaven my god of grace praise the lord jesus you see the church was established in the new testament praise god almighty and and and the high priest and the the jews many of them fought against it they tried to whip the disciples the apostles they tried to suppress the church praise the lord jesus but one man a wise one i believe called gamaliel praise the lord once when they wanted to take the apostles and to kill them he said listen to me praise the lord jesus the best thing you do is leave these people alone if what they are doing has not been approved you don't need to intervene it's going to crumble on its own let me give you some history hallelujah there was one man called theodos and he took unto himself a group of men and he was building something but not long after it crumbled hallelujah because it was not of god there was another man called judas he did the same thing took unto himself about 400 men and was going about building i believe a doctrine but it crumbled because god was not in it so gamaliel said to them praise the lord jesus if what these men are doing is not of god it will also crumble but if it is of god hallelujah you're going to find yourself in trouble because you're fighting against the work of god hallelujah so i'm here to encourage the people of god that if you have received approval hallelujah you need to fear no foe hallelujah who god bless let no man curse hallelujah praise the lord jesus because every tongue that rise up against you in judgment shall be condemned hallelujah praise god almighty what are you building if it has been approved praise the lord build on hallelujah obstacles will come but keep building if god is for you hallelujah oh satire tell me who can stand before us when we go in jesus name glory to god praise the lord jesus you see nehemiah he came back out of captivity praise the lord jesus and he received approval from the highest existing authority satire to build the walls hallelujah now the approval never stop the opposition because the bible said sun balat and to buyers they came up against them trying to frustrate the building shattered cold side but you see it was the approval that the man held on to i am doing something that has background glory to god hallelujah praise the lord jesus and saw the opposition they tried as much as they could to frustrate it but the work of the lord prevailed tell me who can stand before us glory to god when we go in jesus name no wonder the songwriter said i must have the savior with me hallelujah for i dare not build alone i i must feel satire his presence near me and his arms around me throat then saint san balat sent to buyer but i have a document that has been stamped and sealed by the blood of jesus keep building shuttle sire glory to god hallelujah hallelujah you see we've got to recognize that our best efforts are not sufficient the disciples were seasoned fishermen bishop and the bible said that after jesus died they said they are going back to fish years of experience they had the resources praise the lord what the bible said they toiled all night and caught nothing my god put in their best efforts use the best be it went out at the best time caught nothing if the church is not operating based on the directives of god our efforts are going to be unfruitful there are many who are building ministries hallelujah that have not been sent by god shadow sigh it's gonna crumble and many of the people of god are being led astray investing in things that god has not approved you don't have to be the one doing the building but you don't need to be investing in it you don't remember cash plus how many persons invested and it crumbled hallelujah a lot of us are going to experience lust because we never took the time to to to consult the omnipotent the omniscient god who knows the end from the beginning don't we understand that god knows what lies ahead and if you are building what has not been approved the storms of this time pastor i said some storms are ahead praise the lord jesus and there are persons living in structures that are shaking because they never got inspection they never got the approval hallelujah and so when the storm starts to blow your building is gonna come tumbling down praise the lord jesus but for those who are building or who have the desire to build seek the lord hallelujah praise the lord jesus god will direct that's what the song says when the walk is by the way i will lead thee hallelujah lead us lord hallelujah lead me lord i will follow praise the lord jesus lead me lord i will go where you lead me i will follow though you lead me through the conflict praise the lord jesus though he leads me besides still waters hallelujah though he leads me through the valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil because the lord god of heaven is with me praise the lord jesus what are you building has it been approved praise the lord jesus you see in my field of work the pilots they are in charge of their planes the bible the the the document tells us that they have the final say so they are responsible they are required to consult air traffic control air traffic control is the one who gives the instruction or the approval to any request so before the pilot even starts his engine he is required to call atc for approval praise the lord jesus if he starts his engine before and for whatever reason there is a delay he's going to burn fuel he's going to burn a lot of fuel and airline companies they they watch their fuel very closely and so it is in his interest to consult before he starts praise the lord jesus he also has to request approval before he pushes from the gate hallelujah every step of the way the pilot has to be in contact with atc but the thing is that atc operates on a particular frequency praise the lord jesus and so if you should type 110.1 and you type 110.2 you get no response you've got to find the correct frequency many of us are disconnected hallelujah and so we cannot hear from the god of heaven we are asking questions we are making calls but you need to check hakasha kendo london glory to god you've got to check the frequency you've been disconnected glory to god of grace hallelujah praise the lord jesus somebody has been blaming god saying i've been calling i've been calling i've been calling and you're not answering what have you been which frequency have you been calling on praise the lord god of glory hallelujah atc is ready to give the approval but you've got to get the frequency right praise the lord jesus you see every pilot is only concerned about their own plane but the responsibility of atc is to take care of every plane under his control so when you make a request bishop that you want to take off atc knows that somebody is about to land and you can't occupy the way when somebody is coming into land so atc will say stand by hold your position satire if you take it upon yourself forget atc i am ready to go and you take the runway my god of grace you're heading for calamity [Music] and this is how god operates he is not just concerned about sister grizzle what he is concerned about is tatamika and when your request comes in god is juggling the requests hallelujah to ensure that everybody will get to their destination on time you've got to trust the controller hallelujah and in this life that we live our controller is jesus hallelujah praise the lord jesus a lot of us are just operating like we are rogues in christendom we don't have any rules we don't we are not accountable to anyone hallelujah but god is saying there is coming a time when i'm going to step in because i will not allow you to disrupt what i am doing so god is serving a warning to all the buildings that are not compliant my god of grace god is saying if you have a breach you've got to get it resolved rectify the breach hallelujah because you don't have to call the inspector in a bishop sometimes the inspectors do a workaround just pass through and do a surprise check and you never expected it my god of grace but your labor is in risk of being in vain i don't mean to be insensitive but consider bishop as i close someone with child who they go through the trimesters they go through the mood swings and the hormonal changes and the body changes they put on weight and they get dark and you name it footswell all of that praise the lord jesus they go through labor and when the baby comes he's a dead baby a lot of people can relate to that i don't mean to be insensitive i'm just making a point how would you feel to have gone through all of that with an expectation of joy and jubilation only to find that the end result has no use hallelujah check yourselves what are you building not everything good is of god people take opportunities nowadays by the snap of the finger they get a chance to migrate they get a chance to get this job they just take it because i've been praying for it all along don't we understand that the devil also opens doors and makes opportunities hallelujah a lot of people are in church but they are out of place because they find themselves in some places that god never intend and so their ministries suffer hallelujah because they are out of place every step of your life people of god it is your responsibility to ensure that your building is a proof it right now those whose heart are set to serve you they have raised their hands they have indicated that they need help they need a touch from the living god i pray that you will reach down from heaven right now and you will minister to them in a very special way that need that knee that need that need almighty god it is unspoken it is deep for many it is cheering them on the inside tearing them apart nobody knows not even the closest person here on earth that they might even know what they are going through right now but father you who know all things and know all things within our hearts the deep recesses of our hearts i pray that you will stand before them right now i ask your father in heaven that you will stretch forth your hands and that you will touch them on the shoulder and you will start to embrace them right now and let them feel and know that you are there minister help them meet that need as only you alone can in the name of jesus christ of nazareth those in the
