early in the season. >> Got it. All right Jason thank you okay next at 11. >> Breaking news A large police presence in West Oakland after a shooting. >> The 11:00 news on KTVU. Fox two starts now. >> And hello again everyone. I'm Heather Holmes and I'm Mike Mibach. >> We know that police were on scene at the time of the shooting, but no word yet on who actually fired the shots. KTVU is Amber Lee joining us live right now? Amber still a pretty active scene, obviously behind you. What are you learning tonight? >> Well, Mike, we arrived just a short while ago, but we are at 16th and Adeline. And let me show you where the shooting happened. And you can look down the street about a block down, you see a police tape. We're told that the shooting happened inside a garage in a in a home. Now But the police spokesman just stopped by to confirm for me that this is a police officer involved shooting, but he declined to answer any questions. He said that more information may be available in about 30 minutes from now. Now, we also had our photographer on scene responding shortly before ten to a police standoff when he got here, he said he got here shortly before ten and five minutes later he heard gunshots. Now we have unconfirmed reports that this whole thing started as a search warrant operation. And again, that is not confirmed. And we do not know of anybody was hurt or killed. We saw a Bearcat being brought in. We our photographer also saw the officers with their gun drawn entering that building. And that's the latest from here. And again we're hoping to hear from police in about a half hour. >> And Amber, you mentioned that the spokesperson is saying this was an officer involved shooting . Did the spokesperson at all mentioned whether or not there was an exchange of gunfire here tonight? >> He declined to answer any questions. I also asked him if anyone was hurt or killed. And he said in about a half hour they hope to release more information. >> And real quick from your perspective right now, does it appear that officers are searching for anyone or cordoning off any other areas in the neighborhood? >> It's very dark. It's hard to see. They're keeping us far enough back that we can't really see much. As I said, I can see some vehicles, I can see the police tape and our photographer, who was first on the scene, saw where the police entered the building. It's a house with a three garage doors, and it's our belief that the shooting probably happened inside that garage. >> Okay
