Novitec F12 N-Largo - Reunited with the Best V12 Sound EVER!

hi guys i'm shmee hello and welcome back to the channel where today you join me in germany to check out something pretty insane the novitek f12 and largo i'm here with pista door and as the name suggests the collection includes a pista an aventador and plenty of other crazy things including the brabus g500 4x4 squared but today we're going to be talking about this car the car that probably has the closest exhaust sound to a formula one car but for the road and today i'm gonna be taking the wheel to experience it now there's quite a back story as well that i would love to tell you about this one the first one that novatek made and how that links as well to my sls black series today then with pista door let's check this out [Music] up here at the moment then the cars are literally in the gym which is pretty cool but we've got the brabus g500 4x4 squared which in a second we are going to pull on out we're going to hear this from a cold start as well and believe me when i tell you that is going to be monstrous but like i said there is a bit of a story and i have actually been on board this very car before about six years ago let's get the brabus g out and then i will explain all this is no ordinary g500 as you will see we've got the illuminated led running strips let me show you back here there is actually an air canister because this car has a train horn it has the starlight headliner as well from brabus and let's take a listen oh i failed to close the door there we go the v8 the grumbles and there is the horn in action we're going to pull this on out then what a monster the 4x4 squared and then um yeah i'm going to shuffle the sls back in to explain and have these we'll have this in the sls side by side for a reason the proper grumbles as this thing heads out [Music] monstrous now this is not the first time that these two specific cars have actually been side by side in fact like i said i have experienced this and largo before this f12 in lago during a visit six years ago in april 2014 when i came to voss cars near to stuttgart and i went out for a ride with them in the car well that was this very car and on the same day as it happens also there in the showroom was this one the car that is now my sls black series was there the day that i saw it for the first time was the day that i rode in this car for the first time how crazy is that let me play you the clip hi guys i'm shmee today we're visiting voss cars and their fantastic showroom near stuttgart but most importantly right now we're taking a look at this when i just worked that out but they were the same two cars back together again of course with a little bit of a difference mine has been resprayed into the mystic blues since then but the f12 and largo still as it was one of about i think it's 15 maybe that they made of the regular f12 and largo before they launched the f12 and largo s of which they made 11 and of course now we've seen the 720s and largo we've seen the 812 and largo and plenty more along the way but the thing is ridiculously wide gigantic wheels insane exhaust system huge wing on the back we're gonna get it started and believe me as well when i tell you now this is going to be loud i guess then it is time let's take a listen to the f12 and largo starting up wow that's ridiculous [Music] ridiculous absolutely ridiculous so we are going to take us out for a little drive then let's get ready first thing you have to watch out for taking a step in here is how wide the carbon fiber side skirts are of course this car has been driven it's being used and today we're going to enjoy it as well i'm riding shotgun for a moment just to get a small feel for what this thing is about look at that carbon scoop that you have over the bonnet using the f12 arrow wow this thing already even as well sensible rpms listen to this i mean the f-12 sounds brilliant to begin with with this engine front mid-mounted layout just holding the revs even as you can see from the other cars sensible slow speeds this is heavenly we've got the windows up but we're going to be heading towards some tunnels maybe we'll find an open stretch as well we're going to see what happens but i can tell you instantly that is the sound of heaven even though we've got the aircon blasting as well absolutely glorious we have ourselves the convenience of a tunnel which definitely means yeah windows down just a touch oh wow wow wow wow that was absolutely ridiculous that was absolutely absolutely ridiculous very reminiscent of the first time that i rode in this car it is crazy to be back in the exact same scene six and a half years later number ten embossing on the dashboard i think they did all of the quilting for the door as well some of the interior trims and pieces oh we're literally into the land so it's going to get crazier still there's a random car parked on the cross up above the tunnel right window back down again a touch because why not wow i love how you don't have to go crazy in here and it still just sounds mental heading away from the highway for a moment to go find a nice twisty road to enjoy for a second all right it is time to swap around which means i'm gonna take the driving seat of this monster look how wide it is look at these carbon pieces i was talking about you have on the bonnet the additional scoop over the front this thing is sheer insanity and uh yeah my turn right let's do this then taking a seat in here pop the key in then of course we have the button started oh yes this is nice and loud let's do this into gear seven speed dual clutch let's head on out my first time ever driving and then largo and i am going to put it into manual so we'll press one press at the auto button oh wow wow already easy does it consciously quite how wide this thing is as we head through the trees and yes the bus comes the other way wow would you listen to that just taking it easy imagine if we open the windows just for a second this is quite frankly absurd i mean it's an f12 so obviously all of the power going to the rear wheels an incredible super grand tourer to drive but knowing you're in the normal tech hen largo this is breathtaking and of course this is in race now we've arrived in a little bit of traffic but if you turn this down and pop it into wet mode in a second the valves will actually close there we go and unless you go higher up the rev range it is a much quieter much calmer car to be driving um of course that's not exactly what we want for today's experience but you can of course do it should you want so if i pop it back into race we're not going to be going ct off or anything crazy on this short little outing just look down for a moment i mean this is 720 horsepower stock 780 horsepower wowzers it's all about that sound we do however have the fuel lights on which is something i now need to be conscious of so we do not want to run out of fuel spring to drive empty road ahead wow absolutely wow i mean this is just this is just mega even on this car the f12 launched a fair while back now the shift speed is incredible listen to those downshifts absolutely brutal some engine breaking as well and then the bubbles you get that's the crazy thing when you lift off a little bit listen to that sound in fact i actually want to have it with the window down and touch not necessarily all the way down just quite conscious actually with the valves open that this is a really really noisy thing all right coming out of town the other quite fun thing about this as an experience is these roads are quite similar to the ones on which i rode in this car way back when with boss cars and never did i think that one day i might find myself at the wheel of it driving and experiencing this thing and of course these v12 engines they're not gonna last forever that's why they need to be enjoyed right now and i think quite frankly there isn't much else that sounds as unbelievable as this does there are louder cars i think actually there are act like genuinely things that can be even louder than this but when it comes to pitch and tone and the weight revs up so fast nothing does like an enlargo looking this crazy as well that's the other factor isn't it how insane it looks just to behold the car what a thing this is proper f1 sound it's just a bliss to listen to it yeah fuel warning we're definitely going to have to make a v-line towards a fuel station because i know quite how quickly it can go on a ferrari v12 especially when you're having this amount of fun back on the main roads the last lowly restricted autobahn but i tell you what that we have ourselves the tunnel which means we know down a touch it means drop some gears what wow that's insane that was officially mental okay um we do actually have another tunnel coming up as well so even more opportunity to enjoy get ready this is this is unlike anything else it is so crazy the pitch of the exhaust it's it's ear piercing but in a beautiful way the sound that you have these ferrari engines when they're allowed to fully scream and sing like that there's nothing else like it nothing out there i realized that i have actually driven an enlargo i drove the 812 and lago out in california we're gonna head back towards space again now i had to say this has been a very very entertaining drive so head back and then wrap things up we are back then with the sls carefully does this to park this beastie alongside listen to that as we drive into the garage what a thing and it has to be done even though it's dark metal absolutely mental so we'll hop on out then oh we need to put this in first gear handbrake on down here he says where is it there we go that was so cool look at those two then side by side two cars that were last sat in the same place i think back in 2014 and now they're here again today my sls black series piece the doors f12 and largo both heavily used yes you can see that this car is not the cleanest in the world rather like mine both have done many many miles and will do many many miles more and just i guess in a way they're kind of similar ish in the fact that both cars are ludicrously wide both cars have carbon fiber wings both cars have more power than the standard equivalents the sls black series and the super rare f12 and largo after the f12 and lago came the f12 and largo s the 812 and largo and some of the other cars as well but that has been awesome so a huge thanks to peace to door for the opportunity to drive this car do go give a to have to have a full almost noveltec car at some point on my gtc4 lusso i did have the switch tronic the novitex switch tronic where you can control the exhaust valve but those exhausts are just
