hallelujah oh we've come to worship you this morning if you have your bibles could you turn with me to psalm 29. when you found it say amen all right and we'll read together give unto the lord o almighty give unto the lord glory and strength give unto the lord the glory due unto his name worship the lord in the beauty of holiness the voice of the lord is upon the waters the god of glory the lord is upon many waters the voice of the lord is very powerful the voice of the lord breaking us yea the lord breaketh the cedars of lebanon he maketh them also to skip like a calf lebanon and syrian like a young unicorn the voice of the lord divided the flames of fire the voice of the lord shaketh the wilderness the lord shaketh the wilderness of kadesh the voice of the lord maketh the hands to calve and discovereth the forests and in his temple does everyone speak of his glory the lord sitteth upon the flood yea the lord sitteth king forever the lord will give strength unto his people the lord will bless his people with peace peace let's just read verse five again the voice of the lord breaketh the cedars yea is there anything that you need to be broken in your life this morning if there's anything that you need broken just remember that the voice of the lord breaks the cedars of lebanon just tune in to that voice of god open your heart as we worship this morning to hear his voice and just allow him to break away those things that need to be broken from your life all right at this time we're going to pray for the service we're going to pray for the musicians for the singers pray and ask the lord that his shekinah glory will fall on us this morning there's also one prayer request for the pilot and the airline staff and just pray for yourselves as well that god will continue to bless and strengthen you throughout this week mighty god loving father holy god lord jesus ruler of our lives lord we kneel before you we bow in your presence god for you are mighty you are holy oh god we reverence you this morning jesus and we come before you because you said we should come and lord you said we should come boldly before your throne and so we come into your presence lord seeking your face and seeking your help and your hand mighty god we just ask that your shekinah glory will fall on this service today oh god lord let it not just be an ordinary service jesus lord if you are not hero god then what are we doing jesus and so we need your presence lord and we invite you oh god to the shower down mightily on us this morning god jesus we ask you to minister to every heart mighty god those who are wounded those who are broken those who are carrying burdens jesus are burdens that are too heavy for them god that they were never intended to carry jesus but lord god as you died on the cross for us jesus oh god you nailed our sins to the cross with you mighty god jesus we thank you o god that you are more than able o god to deal with our various situations this morning lord god we pray for the pilots oh god and the airline staff jesus we pray a special covering on them mighty god lord jesus even in this era lord god of covet 19 we pray a special protection over them lord god i pray you'll continue to give them the wisdom knowledge and understanding to do their job safely mighty god and within the protocols and the security that is needed i pray you will just endow god wisdom on them jesus lord god i pray oh god for the musicians this morning oh god just minister right there with them jesus even the singers oh god just mingle our voices oh god with the angels jesus oh god and just accept our worship lord god i pray oh god the meditation of our heart oh god on the words of our lips we'll just find favor with you this service earlier on it was the same i thought it would have been less i thought today would have been tearing away with rains like last week but then you know sometimes all indications show one thing and the the the weatherman predicts the future but what can i weatherman's about the future that it has to hold it almost will it can come and it can don't come because based on what i heard from last night it's supposed to be washing away and it don't come and see we have service this and then last week i thought that they said it wasn't going to come out with gearing up for service still and it came so it broke up for them sometimes but this is where god is concerned the god that we serve he said tell me about tomorrow if you can you really cannot but he can tell the future and he knows what tomorrow will bring what a great god put your hands together one more time for the great god that we serve he's worthy worthy to be praised and so i greet every one of us in the house today thank you visitors that are in church this morning saying can you put your hands together for all the visitors that are here we had visitors in our first service amen and we thank god i i don't even let me just bless you thank you so much for making it faith chapel of the faith apostolic ministries amen i don't know who you are i don't know your exact situation i don't know the needs that you have but i know a god who knows tomorrow he knows the nitty-gritty of all our individual situations why because he made all of us and we need to understand that and i say to the visitors this morning whatever your needs are there is the almighty god willing and able to make himself available to you and to meet and to satisfy every one of those needs find him if you will and i tell you he is here one more time be praised let me just quickly inject here um comes next week sunday which is the 22nd and the sunday after which is the 29th we are going to be going right into missions convention can we give a shout of praise for missions convention 2020 now it's going to be missions convention with a difference because it's we cannot get together as normal the government has prohibited that and we are working with the program and with the protocol so what we will be doing although we are using the term missions convention it is just to convey the theme and the spirit of the service but it's gonna be group one uh our for next week group three and group four as usual so that we can observe the protocol and then the week after it will be group one and group two but we will be having some visiting ministers who will be coming with the word of the lord for us over these next two weeks and i believe that the saints are going to be edified and uplifted and this one is geared to the saints of the most high god yes we are going to be having unsaved in the midst yes unsaved are going to be saved but we are somehow fine-tuning these services for the saints and so we ask that we be in prayer as a result of these two sundays of services this wednesday night we are going to be having our corporate prior meeting but during the course of the day on wednesday it will be a day of fasting and prior so all of our saints we're going to be on fasting on wednesday and our focus is on the convention the 22nd the 29th and in between the wednesday we are going to be having a panel discussion it's going to be via zoom and it is going to be focusing on evangelism in a covered environment and we're going to be talking about how we can under the circumstance still be effective weaknesses and that's going to be amended wednesday of the week of the convention and then on the thursday we are going to be throwing this onto youtube so you can be at home and tune in on thursday it is going to be a night of nostalgia where we are going to be going back in the archives and we are going to be pulling out some missions convention services as far back as in the 80s and we are going to be taking some snippets of them and compiling them and be presenting to us so we are going to see sister june how she looked in the 80s when she was leading her song on the choir we're going to see missions convention over the years and you don't want to miss it on the thursday of the convention sister grizzly you are smiling away but we are going to do that amen missions director amen and we we trust that we will be blessed amen by this and then on the friday night so remember no missions convention in terms of the main services are next week sunday the 22nd and the sunday after the 29th in between those two sundays we will have the wednesday night where we will be going through uh dealing with issues on evangelism during the coved period then on the thursday night it will be a a night of nostalgia going through missions convention through the years and then the friday night it is going to be a grand youth service night where the youths up to 35 will come in the sanctuary these to include you minister are you you're over 35 but those that are 35 and below will come that friday a visiting minister will be here and we are trusting that you are going to be blessed and be inspired youngsters as missions convention the friday night takes the form of a youth service and the huge 35 and below will be in charge and they will be having a grand time because i am pastor i will be here too just to make sure that everything goes right you know and that kind of thing plus i am not too far from 35 anyway so it's going to be a time of revival a time of blessing a time of that a week of just great things in the presence of the lord sister matthew praise god isn't god good come on we put our hands together and give the lord a clap offering of praise he is great and he is greatly amen now as a result as a result of this special nature of the services next week sunday and the week after the first service begins at the same time at nine o'clock but instead of wrapping up at um 10 30 we will carry it up to close off about 11 o'clock so we're extending the time somewhat all right is that all right saints of god and then as a result of that the second service instead of commencing at 11 30 will begin at a quarter to 12 and then close off a little bit later than normal amen so i asked the musicians to kind of have that in their mindset i asked the sound engineers and osha as everybody let's kind of have that in our mindset because of the special nature of these services we will be adjusting the time amen to deal with the type of services that we will be having god bless you let's keep worshiping the lord and just before i go just to let this group know also that sister diane hall ellis amen amen and her husband brother ellis together they have a bouncing baby boy and i want us just to congratulate them guess what because of the covey because it took me two hours i just did not know i and i am sure i saw sister ellis just the other day actually look normal but it's just our face i saw but to god be the glory we thank god amen and we congratulate them god bless you brother and sister ellis on this amen your bundle of joy let's keep worshiping god in spirit and in truth and in the beauty of holiness amen amen so just before i take my seat just to let the church know it's bittersweet but nevertheless it is still sweet because she has gone to a better place and many of you might not know but for those that have been around the old timers sister grant mother grant from over there in trelawney she has made her transition you know every year sister yvonne would take a couple of us down to see her and all that she's just about 90 years of age and she has done her part she has played her role she has been a tremendous soldier she has been a stalwart in the house of the lord from pastor grizzly was over there at bond street she was one of those that started and sister grizzle i am not sure but was she one of them that had the vision and saw a hole to behold and she was one of yes among that group that saw that major thing that was to behold and she was there from the very beginning and brothers and sisters she has made her transition and we miss her but at the same time we rejoice because amen an apostolic general has gone home we give god thanks and you will hear more about it in the wonderful name of jesus god bless you in jesus name praise in the precious name of jesus i want to greet the ministers of christ in the precious name of jesus i also want to greet my beloved brother dockery in the precious name of jesus i want to greet all god's wonderful people in the precious name of jesus because he is worthy look at us now look back from where we are coming from it's all because of his love while we are here today it's all because of his mercies while we are here today praise god seeing how the sun said over and over he molds me and makes me into his lightness his fresh and this old piece of clay for the vessel of honor i am glory to god praise god let us turn in our bibles two portions of scriptures the first one is taken from first kings chapter 19 we're reading from verse one to four and also john chapter 21 verse 3 praise god and it read us and ahab told jezebel all that elijah had done and with all how he had slain all the prophets with the sword then jezebel sent a messenger unto elijah saying so let the gods do unto me do to me and more also if i may not thy life as the life as one of them by tomorrow about this time and when he saw that he arose and went for his life and came to bathsheba which belonged to judah and left his servant there but he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness came and sat down under a juniper tree and he requested for his himself that he might die and said it is enough now o lord take away my life for i am not better than my father's let us turn to john chapter 21 verse 3 he said simon peter say unto them i go official they say unto him we also go with thee they went forth and entered into a ship immediately and that night they caught nothing praise god bishop max and you're pleased to pray for the word we thank you again great god father in heaven thank you for your servant that you have appointed for this moment to bring a word and cheer and encourage the heart of your people i pray god that you will move upon her mightily to charge and to exhort and to admonish the hearts of the people of god hold her in your hands right now move her to the left move her to the right have her to move as the spirit of the living god dictates so that she will issue forth a word straight from the throne of the living god where our cops are up to heaven our hearts are open right now to hear a word send it i pray and let your perfect will be accomplished in this place this day in jesus name everybody say in jesus name amen and amen praise god praise god hallelujah if i should pull a theme from these passages of scriptures the theme would be your failure is not final and i'm going to repeat it again your failure is not final praise god the way i find a definition for the word fail it's a lack of success two failing to perform a duty or expected action also a definition for the word of final coming at the end of a series praise god i want you to know that when god has created man praise god god knew that man would fail but because god is the omnipresent god he is the omniscient god he is the omnipotent god he's an alpha and omega he knows the end from the beginning he knows the beginning from the end which whether where you want to go god knows everything he knew that man would fail but because man was made in god's image god doesn't look at man as a failure god look at man as his perfect masterpiece because he himself had made man praise god when you look into the passage of scripture this is the same elijah who god have called to be a prophet or god in israel but elijah was god's servant that he used to bring about his ma miraculous works to give him the glory praise god now this miraculous word that elijah had done when he was on mount carmel he brought called on the fire of god he prayed i mean beyond the servants of bill and they you know they were you know calling out to their bill and this is the same elijah who you know i started to mock them because god no elijah sorry know the god that he served praise god so i want you to know that after you know he marks them he now call upon the god of heaven the same god who makes the heaven and earth who knows the beginning from the end you know he called upon him and god answered by fire and dry up the virus and lick up the sacrifices praise god and hear elijah he slew jezebel's prophet praise god but here ahab jezebel's husband the wicked king he went and told his wife all that elijah did and here jezebel sent him a letter oh lord what a letter so the gods do to me by this time tomorrow yes you will be gone that's your end elijah by this time tomorrow but i want you to know that god is a miraculous god he's a mighty god he's an awesome god he's a powerful god because even when elijah reads a state you know when he read it when he looks we have to be careful what our eyes see he saw the letter and he lose faith in god and he failed he think he's failed but you know you know when i read it he said he went out in the wilderness he left his servant he don't want the servant to know about his inner troubles and sometimes we are just like that i am like that yes i am like that and here he praise god he left his servant and he goes a day's journey into the wilderness and he asks the lord to take his life because he is no better than his father praise god but here the god of heaven comes you know and god told him i wanted to return to the wilderness of damascus my god the same willingness that elijah went into god told him to return there praise god your wilderness is not a bad experience it's nothing to kill you or to harm you because your rough situation is right there god's gonna meet you because your failure is not final i want you to know today that here god spoke to elijah and he said look here man you're not done with you you think that you're over but i'm not done with you you have i want you to get up elijah i want he also sent him food i want you to get up elijah because you have the aziel to be anointed king over syria you also have to annihilate you to be king over israel and also you have elijah to anoint to be in your room after you have gone i want you to know that there are some elijahs in the house that feel like you have failed but come on he has a 9 to 10 night hallelujah here cause he already set anointing on you for you to go and because there's someone there that is in need of your touch someone there is in need of your word your encouragement hallelujah your failure is not final come on elijah your failure is not final praise god there are sometimes you feel like you might be samson been deceived by the elijahs my god delilah praise god there are some delisers around if you are not careful praise god but hear something he didn't know he thought he was a failure but here he comes on the scene again because something you're here is going to grow back and you have the philistine to adventure the lord come on sam says get up praise god you have some philistine to slew you have something don't worry and self-pity because what happened god already anointed and appoint you to go and fight some backers hallelujah some battles that have not yet started so you cannot sit down you cannot sit down and weather insult pity because god has summoned battles for you there's some uncircumcised philistine for you to slow the bible says something he killed more than what he have killed in his lifetime praise be to the name of god hallelujah i want to speak to some peters in the house hallelujah god called you to be fishers of men praise god oh hallelujah you know when jesus died and he arose and he went up praise god here peter said in john 21 verse 3 said i am going back to my fishing business and the others that said we was with him said you know we are going to praise god but peter forget praise god that he was already anointed and appointed to be fishers of men not physical fish anymore but because he he denied christ he felt that he was a failure but i want you to know today that your failure is not final here comes peter yes i'm going back but jesus came and meet him on the way he already prepared bread and fish oh praise god he didn't need peter to go at that land you know i believe god is such an awesome god he let peter go back to his fishing and they called nothing peter it's not your strength it is my strength i have anointed you come on peter get up there's an axe 32 to read there's acts chapter 2 38 to read you are the one who's gonna stand up because the day of pentecost is coming peter you have to declare that gospel you're not a failure in my sight people oh hallelujah praise be the name of jesus i want you not brethren i'm talking to somebody i had this word from last week and the rain came and i didn't claim praise god but it is in my spirit all week to tell the peters in here get up the day of pentecost is coming it is high time it is high time their men are dying they are dying daily i can't even count anymore every minute you hear somebody died but peter there's an act 2 verse 38 for you to preach that message the bible said peter standing up with the eleven and as he started to preach that his first message you might deny christ you might feel lonely oh god you might feel like you're a mess but i want you to know that you are not a mess your failure is not final it is not over because god didn't say it is over when god said it is over it is over you don't need to listen for the fat lady because the fat lady god is in control of the fat lady you have a baptism in jesus name to preach you have the infilling of the holy ghost to preach you have to teach them to live a righteous life praise god hallelujah hallelujah i just want you to know your failures are not final this is a time when we have to get up we might can't go out as we want to i can't go out on the host house ministry but i know i have a mandate i was anointed to go i was anointed to god despite my failures despite my setbacks i was anointed to go and preach the acts 2 38 it is still alive it is still alive it is still valid it's not about servicing aspires my god when i listen to it i said oh my god i have to start to pray i have to start to pray this this whole nice thing oh you're saved now save you know jesus nicodemus came to jesus by night and he requires him because when he saw the miracles that jesus did jesus does give him it just as it is and i love him he's straightforward he said you must be born again he said i am an old man how can i enter into my mother's womb a second time he said mother not you must be born again and how are you to be born again repentance baptism in the name of jesus for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy ghost and you i had to hit live a righteous life a life that is pleasing and acceptable unto god this is the way you must go the bible way praise god i just want to say this in closing please don't wallow in self-pity don't wallow in your failures because your failures are not final once you're bought with the precious blood of jesus that simply means that there's no failure in you because god himself come to live on the inside so you're not a failure i don't care what people want to say about you i don't care about your background i don't care about your family life it doesn't matter to me i don't care if i don't have any dinner tonight or for the
