welcome back to M TV we are back in our Deli store today with a very special guest all the way from the United Kingdom UK I say you're here from London I'm uh yeah I'm all over the place but all over the place okay you can say UK Carl is here from outside India Carl is the founder and CEO of nothing the phone 2A releases soon uh congratulations again and thank you for coming thank you uh we're going to look around the store get your perspective on a bunch of the products that we have here and hopefully you know we buy some sneakers okay fingers crossed I need some new shoes for my launch events launch event you definitely do super dirty definitely do yeah 100% okay let's get it let's get into [Applause] [Music] it remember the this was really popular yes it was really popular it's pretty like not so relevant anymore when I was in uni it was all the hype yeah I don't remember how long ago were you do a long time ago long time ago where did you go to college man in Stockholm oh you went to college in Sweden yeah yeah how was that it was uh quite to be honest like I went to the best business school mhm in Sweden and like you into business school yeah and uh we didn't learn anything about how the world was changing you know if you look at all the most valuable companies today all the new ones are tech companies right best business school spent Z minutes learning about tech companies and you started your first tech company at like when you were like 22 23 you know uh it depends on what you mean I started making my own websites since I was 12 all right and driving traffic selling advertising mhm but let's talk about tech product like a physical product yeah I mean what where do you draw the line cuz uh After High School me and my friend we went to China and went to factories and we took these uh really crappy MP3 players and we changed the colors put our logo on it made a brand sold it made a story oh really yeah you sold the company it was we we didn't even know how to register a company right we just made some money oh right you sold the products though yeah uh from Andy social social club we get into called classic supreme Supreme what do you think of supreme Supreme is better than anti social social club um in London however there only kids wearing them like wearing Supreme they're like I don't know 15 yeah and they're all queuing up yeah Supreme store is right next to the nothing store yeah and they they look really cool so I uh I don't know maybe it's not for for me right again like uh comfortwear yeah but they have some like this is a pretty cool piece yeah they have some dope I guess More Design Centric a little more product oriented then um and then you know there some of the most iconic Supreme pieces like this the box logo hoodie and then Supreme did such an excellent job with collaborations right I think that's where Supreme really absolutely crushed it everything from North Face to I know Colgate but you know the strategy right it's like our customers our customers are the young customers and we're going to surface culture from the past that they don't know about and bring it to them ah so they don't they don't work with any modern Brands we tried like their thing is they take culture that the Young Generation of today do not know about and surface it to them such an interesting perspective I've never looked at Supreme like that uh where do you come down on watches you're wearing a pretty nice time piece on your wrist yeah oh I have one of these actually you have one of these what do you think about these These are great because in London you get robbed yeah so I can't wear a nice watch in London I'm wearing one of these oh that's always wear one of these and then I bought like a fake Omega strap so it looks like a real Omega when I wear we it but if somebody wants to rob me I'm like here go ahead let me go and buy another one for you it's only like 200 lb aw another very popular brand in India what do you think about Dre have you looked at that stuff yeah I have uh one of my friends brought Drew house to China oh really in Hong Kong yeah I'd like to say in some semblance we brought D house India it was not oh I can put you guys in touch he knows uh Just Bieber oh sick yeah who's this friend of man we to chat yeah we can take it offline let's do it kane west uh this rack is pretty much all Kanye what do you think man have you ever had a p of yeezy's never never they I was tempted to get one of these um I think this was the first one right no no this is one of the first ones there was some of the the first Yeezy was the first Adidas easy was a high top 750 okay it's very very very hard true to get today I considered this was an only easy release this one yeah I considered this one oh this is big um but never ended up buying it because it just felt it got super popular very quickly and the slippers were also quite nice but there were a lot of fakes like really cheap so kind of like yeah does that deter you from making a purchase if there's a lot of fakes yeah why does that deter you I don't know I mean if you're going to buy like a designer product you want to be different you want to have that product kind of portray who you are your personality but if some person bought it for like 1% of the cost or like 5% of the cost you kind of don't really want it anymore interesting and so what are the brands that you typically wearing you're wearing some I've been super busy with work so I haven't really bought stuff for a long time this is uh common projects right shoes this is uh Amy leandor AR tox's uh veillance uh just everyday stuff that looks looks very simple right like but it's all stuff it's all it's all very specifically carefully designed product all three brands are very design Centric yeah Emily Andor is quite hypy I guess yeah but also fairly Niche are they here not yet I think they would do well here they will do well here yeah and with that we come to the Nike section of all of our shoes the best part of all where you can finally find your your prompt kicks are you excited about the launch of the phone yeah yeah it's been a long time it's our first uh inperson launch since we started oh really yeah it's just been virtual one was oh we had some people there but there was no keynote no stage oh this is a full oh this is a full launch launch oh sick that'll be cool how many people is it going to be I think we sold 1,000 tickets so sick around that Jesus that's going to be fun I'm excited did you get invited yes I did did I did I he what here catches your ey for somebody who's not so deep into it um what is the first shoe that you look at and be like damn that's cool I'm just trying to find the cleanest one uh or the most different one so this looks very different yeah that is an interesting shoe it's an interesting choice uh this one looks interesting it's like a what is it like a lizard elephant print elephant print it's like an elephant print what are these what what's this logo Air Jordan that's the Jordan logo these are Jordan lows so here we have Jordan Low's uh and then we have some dunks Jordan low yeah I like that silhouette actually and then yeah this the effervescent uh this the panda dunk which just became the most basic popular shoe in the world over the last two years every single person has a panda and this is this is a Jordan low Jordan low yeah but it looks different from uh no it's basically the same at is it yeah so this and this see how it has the same Edge ORD logos different different materials different colors different color way but very similar are you familiar with here mm um theyve done some really really really nice sh yeah I like the color this is everything am does is really nice this is that Jordan 4 collab I'll show you the um this is their Jordan one collab this is very interesting shoe trees there also another pair of Jordan trees really nice these are Powerpuff dunks which came out in all three power puff colors this is Travis scard this is Travis squat I've seen a lot of people wear these yeah these is the Olive colorways a fairly recent release this is Travis Squat and the Phantom colorway we then have some more old school um off-white collabs this is the off-white Air Max 97 one of my personal favorites from The Collection very unique under this looked really cool when it came out yeah super cool but fairly underrated not a lot of people jumped on these it's interesting about design right like when you design something it's hard to make it look cool 10 years from now definitely when you look at some of the Apple products they still look really really good really cool also Sony I'm I'm now following a new account on x it's like Sony archives and they just surface the old Sony stuff like the walk so good Walkman CD players it was cool they were like functional PlayStations in different colors PlayStations man Jesus that was so Timeless this shoe is the trophy room Jordan one trophy room is a sneaker store that Michael Jordan's son Marcus runs M um and this shoe was extremely hyped for theas and and was selling for like $22,000 before release and it is rumored that Marcus Jordan himself back doored so many shoes that he pretty much got into trouble it was absolutely insane I remember pre-release there was so many shoes coming out in the aftermarket because Marcus Jordan himself sold so many for like a profit on the low absolutely wild but now we've seen a bunch of shoes it is time to take a decision car what are we going to be wearing to the big day it's tough right I'm just thinking like what's monochrome that removes a lot of options and what's what's monochrome and not high top and not high top uh you have a different color in the Ambush and the same one I have the same one you have the same one that removes another monochrome option but you're set on the monochrome there is the Travis here which are black and white there is these all whites there is those shoes that I think are really nice the white black and gum sole the gumo is a nice sort of Pop how's it going to look on camera can you see the logo probably barely though if you have logo trouble uh I proba this onea this get this yeah back what size you cleanest uh 41 41 is this 41 great 75 7 and2 pack let's get it let's get it it's a nice shoe it's a clean shoe man super clean I car you are officially our lowest spender on the sneaker shop really uh most times we end up doing sneaky shopping only for people who um come in to spend like $8 to $10,000 I'm open to spending but I just didn't find anything I'll take that I'll take that yeah that's on me but thank you for coming down
