Norwegian Cruise Line Complimentary (Included) Dining | Norwegian Bliss Food Tour

hey everyone in this video I'm going to be sharing the complimentary dining options here on the Norwegian Bliss and letting you know if I think it's worth it to just stick with the complimentary food or if you need to make an upgrade have you ever wondered what it's like to dine on a cruise ship or perhaps you've never cruised with Norwegian and experience the amazing options on one of their ships in this video I'm sharing the complementary dining options on board the Norwegian Bliss I hope these highlights can give you an idea of what the food is like and at the end I'll share my final verdict begin with the breakfast options first up is the Garden Cafe located on Deck 16. this is the self-serve Buffet where you can get breakfast lunch and dinner throughout the day they always have complimentary drinks including water juices iced tea coffee and tea available and for breakfast they have a wide variety of breakfast foods including box cereals and whole fruits there are different stations throughout the buffet area where you can get bacon sausages pancakes french toast scrambled eggs hard-boiled eggs and breakfast potatoes they also have an omelette station and a yogurt station with different toppings and if you're looking for toast there is a toasting station with Bagels bread and English muffins where you can toast your own items if smoked salmon is your thing they have big trays of it as well your cream cheese onions tomatoes Capers and other toppings to make breakfast sandwiches many of the items are repeated at different stations because there are two sides of the buffet to accommodate all of the guests but some things you can only find in certain spots like the eggs benedict and the sausage gravy and biscuits foreign enjoyed our breakfast here and never found it too busy [Music] in the mornings there are also pastry ladies that go around singing songs about the pastries and go to each table to offer you Whatever item they were serving next is the local on Deck 8. here you have a simple breakfast menu and table service they serve a few of the items that are also served in the main dining room but they have longer breakfast hours we ate here once for breakfast and quite enjoyed it foreign and now for the main dining rooms taste and Savor these were our favorite spots to eat breakfast and they both had the same menu each day they had a few different items on the menu but there were always the classics like the express breakfast sides and entrees I like getting the fruit salad and then following that with oatmeal or the express breakfast my husband tried the pancakes waffles French toast and enjoyed his half grapefruits coffee tea and fresh juice were also available and we really liked when the wait staff left us our own coffee pot on the table for easy refills [Music] now let's move on to lunch starting in the buffet similar to breakfast the complimentary drink selection was available but orange juice is only available at breakfast when you enter there is a soup station with bread just around the corner pounds they also had a pizza station and a Caesar salad making station for lunch they also have some grilled items like hamburgers hot dogs and all the toppings each day the buffet items change slightly but they always had stir-fried vegetables mixed salads make your own salad bar and some sort of quesadilla or taco station thank you the buffet also had a Carving Station with different meat each day and some pasta options as well we really enjoyed the Taste of India options and we're happy to find a variety of dishes and rice and don't forget all of the desserts there were so many to choose from and they were pre-cut and put on a plate for easy self-serve foreign we really enjoyed our lunch here but we only ate at the buffet for lunch twice during the whole week if you're a picky eater have dietary restrictions or follow a specific diet you should be able to find something to suit your needs here the local bar and grill was another option with a menu of the same for lunch and dinner we had lunch here a few times through our trip and really enjoyed the atmosphere and options thank you foreign [Music] visit I tried the cobb salad and chicken wings and Alan got the cottage pie potato skins [Music] on our second visit we both got a Focaccia Caesar salad and I had the cottage pie potato skins Alan got the Coney Island hot dog and they were all delicious but there were even more options to choose from we just didn't have enough time now it's time for dinner dinner at the buffet was different each night they had Seafood night Mexican night prime rib night and more we actually didn't eat at the buffet for dinner though we suspect it would be good based on our lunch and breakfast experience the local bar and grill had the same menu for lunch and dinner so we ordered a few things to share for a late dinner one night we tried the pretzel bites got the cottage pie potato skins and a Cobb salad and also the loaded nachos just like our previous visits we really enjoyed the meal foreign [Music] now for the main dining rooms there are three main dining rooms to choose from for dinner Savor taste and the Manhattan room we only went to the Manhattan room for dinner though the menu changed each night offering different choices of entrees though they did have a few classic entrees available that were the same each day foreign [Music] appetizers we tried the mozzarella sticks which sadly didn't have the dramatic cheese pull like Alan was going for but they were delicious nonetheless we also tried this nacho dish and the bruschetta and I tried the stuffed mushrooms we usually only order one appetizer each but you can order as many appetizers entrees and desserts as you'd like but we try not to waste food so we only got what we thought we would like and could eat foreign I had the chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and cream sauce with vegetables and Alan had beef skewers with mixed vegetables these were both delicious and Allen's steak skewers were cooked perfectly to his order for another dinner I had the shrimp and grits with sauteed peppers and Alan had the gnocchi with the cream sauce and peppers again these were both delicious and I absolutely love the shrimp and grits dish and would get it again if we ever went back [Music] foreign [Music] and now on to desserts after you're finished dinner they give you a dessert menu and take your dessert order we tried a few different things a chocolate mousse cake with whipped cream and raspberries a black forest cake with cherries and some ice cream because Alan always likes to get ice cream with his dessert [Music] foreign I can't remember what my second dessert was the next night but it was delicious and Ellen got the chocolate brownie and really enjoyed that as well the desserts were always amazing no matter when or where we ate [Music] and now let's talk about the snacks at the bars you can get this nut snack mixture that's complementary you can grab snacks at the observation lounge or the Garden Cafe and the local bar and grill is open 24 hours if you're hungry so there's always something available for you that's included complimentary with your cruise Fair now it's time for my final verdict on the complementary dining options they're great and you absolutely do not need to get a specialty dining package there are so many complimentary dining options to choose from so it's really up to you if you want to get a specialty dining package or treat yourself to
