the worst note I've received on a script was from a potential financier but he said to me couldn't we find a place for a naked pregnant woman I I this may be that I think is one of the first times I've ever said it out loud [Music] probably Errol Flynn's Robin Hood Gene Kelly movies Thanks singing in the rain an American in Paris had everything in that movie it was funny it was exciting but I didn't really have a concept of that would be a thing I could do and as I got older than I knew that Michael Curtiz had directed it and he also did Casablanca then I started to look at search out his movies yeah Gene Kelly films are the ones that made me hope but I didn't think I could do it well it's I mean it's Louisa May Alcott wrote it not me in this line I just love it it's um Florence Pugh as Amy I want to be great or nothing tremendous it's such a such a wonderful sentiment and also you know it's ambitious it's a big thing and I don't I think when I read it like when I read it it stood out to me and neon like that's an ambitious girl and I like it well I just recently just like two nights ago was at an event and Nick Cave the the singer not the artist although the artist may have been there to Santa called I met her at the black Micucci event and I love her music I happened to fanboy out on the singer Nick Cave whose records I love and she's so lovely and I got really flustered but anyway she's the friend of mine had just went to had surgery and so I took a photo of me and him to send to him Here I am at Nick Cave while you're in the hospital I don't know what are the stereotypes of indie filmmakers oh I guess maybe that we're there's any kind of pretension there I don't know if that's a stereotype of indie filmmakers but um I feel like mostly indie filmmakers are just people making films without any financing it's not it has nothing to do with there are there their heart or you know I feel like it's just it's just where you start out I mean even Steven Spielberg was once an auntie filmmaker before jaws [Music]
