Literally this entire album is so good. I’ve heard nutshell at least a thousand times and I get chills during the solo every time. I think “don’t follow” is probably my favorite on his album. Such a sweet warm tune.

AIC is largely considered a grunge rock band much like their peers in Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, etc. However, some people refer to them as grunge metal as well. To me, they are a heavy rock band with A LOT of metal elements, primarily doom metal and/or stoner metal. On a personal note, AIC was by far my favorite of all the Seattle grunge bands…which makes sense since I'm a metal head.
