Random: My dad couldn't get into this movie because he just couldn't move past Woody Harrelson as a TV comedian from the 1980s, Josh Brolin as a child actor from the 1980s; Tess Harper from Tender Mercies, Javier Bardem as 'that Spanish Ham actor' (he was referring to an older Bardem movie Jamon Jamon,) and how much actor Garret Dillahunt resembled Old Hollywood actor Tyrone Power.

Yeah, you can tell he wasn't that into movies.

I expected Javier Bardem to have less of an accent IRL.

More movies need such mockumentaries, absolutely hilarious.

it's a chaste movie kicked off by a drug deal gone bad it was a book that the producer Scott Rudin it brought to us thinking we might have an affinity for it and we did I mean just a sort of basic level liking it as a book [Music] I you know it seems kind of tailor-made to be made into a movie the heavier burden character chasing the Josh Brolin character with Tommy Lee Jones sheriff character kind of bringing up the tale [Music] I did this movie last year man and I changed completely my my physicality and everything I changed the whole face I did an amazing transformation yeah I put a lot of weight on purpose I ate a lot are you drunk a lot of beer I stopped smoking very professional no that was because I felt like like like like [ __ ] [Music] things that Jill Nathan do well the laughing uproariously after every take you know laughing so hard at stuff that they wrote I think so my agent told me about the part and that the Coen brothers would call me which they did and you know we had a great talk you know and they were they were really really cool you know we we we really came together as a family I mean I'm not including you know Joel and Ethan here but we came together as kind of like hanoi hilton a bit we survived together I mean look don't get me wrong they are so much fun to work with I mean they're great they're geniuses everybody knows that which our crew and cast were at least we were told this that we were the dim bulbs surrounding the master light it was good because it broke down our egos and we were able to kind of work in an environment of humility at least that's what we thought in the beginning there was among where I asked for the salt because we were having lunch and I don't know what I said something that I guess they didn't like or suddenly twist my arm and I thought it was such kind of a joke but I saw Ethan's look very kind of aggressive which surprises me and then I mean I let it go I didn't think about it too much but after that night I recall this my wrist heard a lot I thought I had my that violence these same same things I've seen and it certainly made an impression on me it was great experience I can't say enough about it that I really did enjoy it yeah no it's alright yeah no it's fun it's fine with me I just wanted to make sure it's fine with you no I'm comfortable I just wanted to make sure that you know but that sound is good what's the most you ever lost I thought he was a terrific actor as a person I did I don't really understand anything he says he has a strong accent feeling Kelly has such a sort of wonderful kind of adorable vulnerability when the camera turns on she's this pretty tough West Texas gal and I'm very impressed with her talent we went for drinks one night and we had that was some things just changed the way look at life I'm I feel like I'm coming off a little bit strange no I'm open-minded to you know alternative medicine of course and but I don't but I kind of what I asked you until we say Western medic and I've been a little bit he's just a guy who happened to find my money it's just such a delight he truly is the nicest man on the planet Josh and I got along like a house of fire I really did enjoy working with him and I mean I do think that he and I shared some things during that the filming of this movie that maybe you know most people shouldn't know about but we certainly we minded and both of us said our eyes opened that's the guy that actually looked after me that guy took care of me I mean that's what I'm in it for that's who I'm looking for and the Cohens were obviously not them what section is this what I live I never seen I have never seen a section of the coins I mean I never seen them make you know for anything other coins because people don't want to talk about this is for you yeah okay so I mean I don't want can you please switch off okay is that the the light is still on I want to talk about this um on that movie was really hot it was kind of like the end of summer and there's a lot of flies around and I remember they were really attracted to Ethan's desk there's no dangerous is there compared to what woody said funny Springer because he came on the set he was very nice he was truly nice a nice guy to talk to and very funny and very professional I think it's an amazing actor but one ski once we were doing the same he brought one idea that I thought it was brilliant and they asked him the coins to come to a place to a room I don't know what happened but the way this man woody came out of that room sweating and I said what happened and he said I never seen something like it cause moving why because people don't want to talk about that and there are many things here that I don't want to tell publicly I told you before have some respect I remember once they gave me some dailies to watch on my own house of what I did in between takes they will put their own faces looking at you from from from the TV saying what you saw is something that you cannot share with anybody right they were showing themselves looking at you straight in the eye I'm telling you did you like it did you like it it sucks [Music] you [Music]
