Nisus Shows Its New High Performance Gyrocopter

foreign most of the world's Gyra planes come out of Europe and many are built in Eastern Europe most of them have curvy bulbous lines reminiscent of mid-1950s Porsches but this one which showed up at Sun and Fun this week is all angles and flat surfaces it's called the nissus and well it's a bit of a hot rod here's Rich Landing to talk about it I am very pleased to introduce the nissus the nieces gyro plane this is manufactured in Slovakia we're the first and only dealer here in the U.S to have one of the nices it is a truly remarkable aircraft we are very excited to have it here because of its uniqueness its quality of construction and it's just just a fantastic looking aircraft has a lot of nice features this aircraft is probably the easiest of all the Gyros to get in and out of the nose slides forward it has very low to the ground the seats the seats adjust the back of the seat adjust forward the bottom of the seat adjusts back and forward and the rudder pedals adjust forward and back so any size configuration of body can be made comfortable in this aircraft it has heat for those up north it also has a variable speed fan for hotter climates has very large vents built into it the canopy very well balanced slides back in two locking latches very easy like I said to get in and out of this aircraft most Gyros require ballast when you fly solo this is the only manufacturer I've seen that actually provides the ballast and they actually have a custom fitted ballast that goes right in there very nice no no thinking how much ballast do I need is this enough where to put it don't have to worry about it moving in flight has a nice little armrest compartment inside the bottom has a zipper in it allows easy access to all your control cables below the other neat feature is everything is integrated into the throttle so you have your throttle your brake and your pre-rotator most Gyros you have to use two hands to do the pre-rotation not in this one the brake locks in place they also do have a warning light on here to show you if the pre-rotator did not engage they also have a brake warning light to show you that the brake has not disengaged so this aircraft comes with multiple engine choices you can get the whole line of Rotex choices also they have the Edge performance selection this particular aircraft has the Edge performance the 130 horsepower model you can also get UL power they're also anticipating the new Rotex the 916 so we're going to be real excited to see when that comes out and how that's integrated in this aircraft one of the other things is they have a fuel door on both sides and they actually provide you a dipstick so that you can get a very accurate fuel reading on this particular aircraft notice the engine compartment is totally enclosed they've really put a lot of thought in engineering into the cooling on this they actually have a separate ducting system down below for the oil and water coolers and then they have a separate intake up here that goes for cooling of the engine a very nice design if you get one of the turbo models they're also going to put an intercooler up here a very important feature because most of the road taxes I know with the turbos run very very hot so we're excited to to see that new innovation okay so this aircraft is very competitively priced uh basically the entry model is about 140 000 and it can go up to about 180 000 depending on engine choices interior the one you're looking at here is approximately about 160 000 and this is their top of the line model right now so it's very very competitively priced and of course at a show like we're at today they would be willing to make some some deals for more information you can reach out to us at the gyrocopter Flight Training Academy that's the gyrocopter Flight Training academy.com we're located in Sebastian Florida x-ray 26 we are giving demo rides in this beautiful aircraft we also do flight instruction we are the dealer and trainer for nieces thank you
