here's mayfield out of the shotgun pulls it back now throws he's looked good here early with his throws crisp accurate [Applause] calling the plays for the browns first down cleveland chubb touchdown and 11 yards one of the first things they did was they made a trade gave up a seventh round pick for a fullback andy janovich and if you had any doubts whether this team was going to run the football that gave you the clue right there watch this lead block by him he kicks out some good tough running by chubb not only on this run but also on other runs on this drive what a heck of a job by the browns to be able to come right down the field and answer the three points by the bengals on their opening possession for some reason [Applause] [Music] [Applause] second down and nine handoff to chubb a little bit of a delay good run first down inside the 45 knee and august 13th a gain of 14. yeah just a really good push you know they're in the middle and you think about the the linemen that are out for the cincinnati bengals geno atkins making missing his second game and then his back up last week has a sack in the ballgame as well here is a handoff to chubb running left cuts up field takes it across the 30. and he definitely makes the tough catches has great hands here's chubb spins for 11. firing on all cylinders here yeah i get excited when i see quarterbacks underneath center it's the way it used to be played the game and then it just gives you so much with the run game so much of the run game is taken out of the playbook when you're back there in shotgun and spread sets and one-back offenses one-on-one at the bottom of the screen again with odell beckham and off here chub down inside the five might be a little short i agree is down he's not [Applause] and he's finally in for the touchdown put the ball just inside the one well 230 pounds he's he's a hard guy to hold out of the end zone down there they were able to do it there on the prior possession and this time it's just too much and let him complete some passes that way also [Applause] here's chubb again he's got it first down and plenty more into cincinnati territory and a good block by austin hooper out in front yeah austin hooper does an outstanding job of coming across he leads the way chubb gets right in behind him and right there on the linebacker bam and he just cuts right off of that block and then he's one on one on the safety and he doesn't make a play that's really great nick chubb part of that draft class with baker mayfield and then denzel working together that's when they're most dangerous that throw into the first quarter with a first down and now nick chubb picks his way into washington territory at the 47-yard line that's a five-yard pickup on first down and the first points they've scored in the first quarter all year second down shove the carry again with rocking in front nice cut back by chuck for the first down [Applause] i'm really sorry about that but when you see things this pick could be really costly as chubb makes a man miss in the backfield and chubb with some running room down inside the 13-yard line ryan carrigan had a shot at him for a big loss [Applause] first chub again picks his way inside the 10 to the nine yard line landon collins with the tackle after the four yard run continuing in the third quarter 17-7 lead for the browns we're starting field position of the day from their own 15-yard line and chubb with the carry to the 19-yard line 26 of their 27 second half yards have come on this drive as nick chubb turns into washington territory down near the 43-yard line second down and four here's chubb again got a good block and chubs got some speed on the edge and it's afke who saves the touchdown big athletic guard creating space with a kick out block and what you like is remember we talked about what can chubb beat you with both power and speed and right here's the speed of nick chubb and with the angle apki's able to knock him out of bounds but this team and everybody knows it right when you play the browns they're most formidable when they can run the football see if cleveland is able to do it again here chubb to the outside shove with a crease step through a tackle chop to the end zone that's a touchdown [Applause] and we're talking about wyatt teller becoming a lead blocker and nick chubb doing what he does best and not only the power but right here the speed to run through the tacklers of the washington defense great job by wyatt teller what a good pick up john dorsey picked him up in a trade before he left and nick chubb running through arm tackles is nothing new that's what he does find him somewhere and again they go to chubb and chubb is going to get the first down 180 it's chopped and trump will get the first down out to the 46 and a half zach cunningham and here is chubb and chuck trying to go outside and will enough to get the first down as he gets inside the 40-yard line and it was hargraves who came up to make the tackle that guy is he's there he was the guy first down chubb with the carry and brings it out five yards quicker to me and here is chubb again going outside and he'll barrel his way past the 30. and they give it to chubb and trump's still going using his blockers and getting a first down he has set the tone for all of the new quarterbacks who come along going to the outside he'll have a first down turbo there's chubb again going up the middle and tripped up and here's john going the other way and going into the end zone touchdown browns first td of the game coming on joe judge here is chuck going outside one won't go out of bounds and he doesn't and he may go all the way and he does no flags are down and chubb he ran out of bounds goes out of bounds at the one-yard line [Applause] running wide and find the whole two yards for hodge here's chubb with the hurdle and the side step against the one time pro bowler vernon who did it with the giants a couple years ago here is nick chubb another good run chubb with the good footwork breaking free for a first down picks up 11 down to the 24-yard line heap game to give himself an opportunity to square up [Applause] watch nick chubb turn back into the line of scrimmage right here bam little stiff arm not today buddy not today nick chubb hickey going off the field he's off the field on this play which is another nick chubb run and another hurdle from celebrated his 28th birthday yesterday and a good play early in this game a little strange pass to the check-in it's nick chubb weaving three tacklers inside the 20. slowly starting to become more of a factor in this browns offense first and goal cleveland from just inside the 10. chubb a little hesitation allowing the blockers to set up in front of him we'll get down close to the five tackled by adam gatsas scoring game he has one of his best games that he's ever played so you can't fault him for finding different ways to win for that second push so far so good for this jags defense chubb nice cut back maneuver will get out across the 25 close to the 27. [Applause] mayfield 15 of 22 for a buck 89 with two touchdowns here is chubb [Applause] 580. here's chubb wide open sema real estate jumps showing the wheels inside jacksonville territory unable to squeeze it in just a terrific defensive play by andrew wender third and goal mayfield the pitch to chope he's get the space extends and he's in for the touchdown and his sensational afternoon continues [Applause] on second and fourth chubb slips and tackle again inside jacksonville territory all the way down to the 30-yard line so jacksonville with all three timeouts plus that two-minute warning here's chubb well this is exactly what cleveland was hoping for got to be concerned with their short yardage offense here in the last two weeks haven't been able to get the job done they're over 200 yards rushing just trying to get some of it back here chuck breaks the initial tackle inside the 45 and boy he is right there and i believe he's got it like what a play by chubb what devastating block by joe betonio big third or fourth downs he hit that one there on the quick hitter chubb breaks a couple of tackles non-losing season since 2007 with the eight victories mayfield tossing underneath jump catching one gliding across the 40-yard line rolling short until you see the ball across the goal line third and goal the dive chubb is in touchdown the cleveland grounds pouring it on in nashville so in the previous play the feet got there but not the ball on this play pretty much every part of him got into the end zone he found that little crease and dove through it to pay dirt there's andy janovich 31 none bigger than that one right there to try and slow down the momentum of the titans on the handoff chum finds daylight jumped sideline turns it up a notch and out of bounds at the baltimore 45 quick throw jarvis lands you can throw it and he will all the way across to nick chubb so it is first and goal now on the ground here's nick chubb breaks a tackle and breaks the plane into the end zone strong opening drive by the cleveland [Applause] browns [Applause] touchdown browns you can relate same experiences he said everybody's got something there's nick chubb sounds like a negative can be a positive mayfield quick throw there to nick chalk space left reaches the ball out and in for the touchdown which is it in here let's take a look did the knee touch did anything touch before the ball crossed the ball clearly crossed and no those backs are getting better and better at understanding that replay is going to come and straightening the legs jump busting it to the outside nick job is still going he's gone touchdown browns 47-yard rip for nick jump look to your right to the top of your screen everyone is matched up brown jersey on white jersey and then once chubb gets into the open field it's his responsibility to make someone miss and he does against the all-pro safety making
