NFL Primetime: 1996 Week 13 (ESPN November 24th, 1996)

[Music] we're all fired up for what's ahead on NFL primetime leave young let the Niners in a bruising affair in the nation's capital the bills looked to put the hurt on the Jets well Jim Harbaugh was left hurting by the Pats at in a cold windy Chicago afternoon the Lions were playing a game of hot potato with the bikes crushed the Broncos in the dome the Bengals high-stepping against the Falcons Tony Martin and the Chargers stormed into Kansas City and the Panthers were on the prowl and Houston brick Meyer back in the saddle in Seattle the Eagles look to rebound from last week's loss to the skins dry and the Cowboys ready to get to work against the Giants who had their game face on as well the spirit of giving is in the air and it felt prime times not [Music] [Applause] [Music] hey we're on TV hi everybody and welcome to NFL the primetime a week 13 well certainly if you're the NFC's and if you weren't expecting this one warrior it helped me sort out all the disarray today if you will Tom Jackson Bill Peet oh and our friend Rasputin I'm sure will be joining us very soon but first let you get caught up on the late games around the NFL they're just three the Raiders lead to Seahawks are the Kingdome 24 21 Chris Warren's touchdown with 11 minutes to go is cut at the 3 that game is now five and a half minutes to go we shall keep you posted the Philadelphia Eagles have just gotten a kickoff return for a touchdown by Chuck Witherspoon they're lining up now to attempt the extra point this was just after Boomer Esiason hit Larry's self centers with a 2 yard touchdown pass to put Arizona head 2922 kick is good so now it's 29:27 we're told kick good 27 put it up and so now that game will go down to the wire surprise the New York Football Giants have upset the defending champion Dallas Cowboys 20 to 6 Brown to Kozlowski a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter Emmitt Smith benched much more on this later on in NFL primetime a big surprise our Sunday night game concerns the team that looked to be the best in football in the first half of the season the Green Bay Packers who have lost two straight road games at Kansas City and at the cowboys their third straight road game they're at the st.
