I never understood how a flag didn't get thrown on the Rams TD vs the Saints on that one. It looks like players are walking on and off the field during the run back. Certainly there were too many men on the field at some point.
I, too, was suggested this today.
I think plays deserves to be included, since if the returner were to fumble or get tackled in the endzone, the ball would still be placed where it was last touched.

The Doug Flutie drop kick didn't give the Patriots a tactical advantage though. It was just a rare play
I like that the Packers are in this knowing the rules. Kind of surprising with how bad the special teams have been.
I wonder how long John Harbaugh knew how to run out the clock on a late punt situation (brilliant, btw) while his brother lost that MSU game by not knowing it (I remember watching live and thinking that a punt was the absolute worst idea).
What is the rule that allows a team to take a βFree Kickβ like the long Dawson / Crosby attempts?
In every other situation, isn't the ball dead where the ball is when a player goes OOB or is down by contact? I remember this play, but it's strange why this constitutes a "kicked OOB penalty"
